While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head. Mark 14:3-4 (NIV)
The greatest mantle that God can ever give a man is the mantle of humility.
The vessels that God is transitioning are the ones who are ready to be broken and to see His Glory. That is why there is a dimension of seeing the kingdom and entering the kingdom.
The woman in the scriptures broke protocol, it was a taboo for a woman to be in the presence of a man who was reclining. More so she was referred to as a sinner.
Before transition, there has to be a breaking of the alabaster box.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27 (NIV)
The spirit man was created, the body was made. Your spirit has no gender.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalms 139:16 (NIV)
Each and everything concerning you and your destiny was pre-determined by God.
When you get born again, the books concerning you in God are immediately cemented to your spirit. You are now able to access them. What happens to your spirit man affects your soul and is manifested through the body.
Prophets confirm what is already in your spirit. They are confirming details of the pre-determined by God.
We all are able to access the details cemented into our spirits.
God operates in eternity while we operate in time.
Your spirit and the soul are the second person of your personality. They are very important. We are able to move in the realms of eternity because we are spirits.
Anything that moves faster than the speed of light breaks the light barrier and becomes invisible. Eternity operates in speeds faster than light.
The books of your destiny are embedded in your spirit man.
The body is a form of an alabaster box because in it contains the glory of God.
The goal of life is glory. Everything is created to manifest the glory of God.
Glory resides in everything that is created. God wants to draw out the glory in everything that He has created.
Unlike the presence of God which is invisible, the demonstration of glory is visible.
When you get saved, you are justified. Sanctification is a process that makes you to became like God. A sanctified man is one who has worn the attributes of God. Then comes conscrecration and finally glorification.
For glorification to occur something needs to break.
We don't understand when the alabaster box is being broken because He uses a broken vessel. God does not consult you when He is breaking you.
Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand. Isaiah 53:10 (NIV)
Jesus had to be broken for His glory to be released. His potential as Christ was within Him but there needed to be a crufixion for Him to arise.
I will put in the desert the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive. I will set junipers in the wasteland, the fir and the cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the LORD has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.
1saiah 41:19-20 (NIV)
God is the one that plants us in our wilderness. Each and everyone of us have our own wildernesses.
The glory of God has a weight. It's the weight that comes to rest on our hearts.
The weight of the glory of God cannot be trusted with just anyone. It can either make you or break you.
Maturity will enable you contain the glory of God because you are operating in the dimension of God. i.e operating in love.
God does not use people based on positions e.g managers He uses servants.
Before God can use you, He will deal with your ego and pride.
God deals with us in our wilderness to ensure we can handle glory and power. It's only pressure that produces diamonds.Gold has to be dug for and refined with fire.
Every dimension has it's own weight.
God will never accept a sacrifice without salt. That salt is the one of consecration.
Glory only fell on covenant people. Glory does not fall out of covenant.
There are different covenants:
1. The covenant of. Abraham. It was the covenant of prosperity.
2. The covenant of Blood. Where we are justified when we get born again.
Everyone will be salted with fire. Mark 9:49 (NIV)
The Bible referes to us a living sacrifices.
God will take us into the wilderness to consecrate us. He seasons us with salt.
Salt refers to personal holiness and righteousness. Our personal holiness and righteousness is our responsibility. When we get born again, He imputed His righteousness on us.
To go higher in God, we have to take responsibility of our own holiness and righteousness by doing what is righteous.
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.1 John 3:7 (NIV)
Faith is the currency of heaven. You can access anything in God in accordance to the level of your faith.
You cannot be a sacrifice unto God without salt.
But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way. Daniel 1:8 (NIV)
Daniel is an example of a person who was seasoned with salt.
Whenever we are going through afflictions, we should rejoice because God is breaking the alabaster box.
God is in the business of demonstrating His power and glory. He demonstrates His glory in challenges and in the midst of resistance.
The highest form of sanctification is consecration.
Before God can consecrate, He brings a shaking.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds. James 1:2 (NIV)
Your strength is in your salt. Keep practicing your personal holiness and righteousness.
God does not want us to wrestle with Him, He wants us to allow Him to break the alabaster box.
