The Cloud Of Divine Tangibility: Sermon By Apostle Gobanga
Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea,
1 Corinthians 10:1-2 (NKJV)
And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them. So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night. Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. And the Egyptians pursued and went after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
Now it came to pass, in the morning watch, that the Lord looked down upon the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and He troubled the army of the Egyptians. And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; and the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians.” Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.” And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. So the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained. But the children of Israel had walked on dry land in the midst of the sea, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. So the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. Thus Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done in Egypt; so the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord and His servant Moses.
Exodus 14:19-31 (NKJV)
The cloud is the manifestation of divine presence, and the tangibility of God’s glory. It is the revelation or symbolism of the grace of Christ, expressed through a ministry, calling or anointing upon a Man of God. This divine grace affords protection, providential care, sustainability, and solace.
Every ministry, fellowship or Church is vested with a glory, anointing and grace of Christ which is expressed via a cloud in the spirit.
The cloud of a ministry or calling denotes the revelation of an anointing, grace, and expression of Christ in the spirit. The reality of a ministry or fellowship is the Cloud of divine presence it bears in the Spirit. Within the cloud is the tangibility of the presence of God that proceeds before a people who are called to submit under.
You must submit under the cloud for you to connect into God’s presence. The true habitation of calling or ministry is not vested within a title or position or name, etc. True habitation is found within the Cloud of Divine Tangibility.
The cloud of Divine tangibility denotes the habitation of divine reality, and divine presence, where the celestial beings find habitation. It is a realm of the spirit where divine compass and bearing affords humanity to transcend the natural contours, causing men to travel faster than limitation.
The cloud is the carriage of divine presence and grace of Christ.
When you submit yourself under the cloud, you are assured of all divine benefits. Your submission to be under the cloud is what guarantees your safe passage through the Red Sea of trouble. The Red Sea is a divine weapon of judgment, which the Lord used against the Egyptians. This means that so long as you remain submitted under the cloud, you escape divine judgment.
To be baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea means that once you come under the cloud, the Divine brings you to a dimension where you connect to the tangibility of His holy law. In other words, God causes you to draw out the Spirit of the law, which is the life of Christ.
For you to connect to the tangibility of the Spirit of the law, God must bring you to the place in the spirit where you submit to your spiritual authority/your prophetic accompaniment/your progenitor/spiritual father figure. You cannot connect to your spiritual progenitor without being in the Spirit to be led of God to connect to them.
Without your spiritual authority/your prophetic accompaniment/your progenitor, you cannot tap into the essence of divine benefits, because its only your spiritual authority that carries the mantle with which the divine password of spiritual accessibility to drawing out divine benefits are locked within.
By submission to your prophetic accompaniment/spiritual father figure, you are enhanced in your covenant to the Divine in terms of commitment to purpose, because the covenant denotes your personal commitment to purpose, by reason of your union with Christ, through your spiritual father figure.
Covenant with the Divine is mediated through a father figure who is a type of Christ, prefigured in the Old Testament as Moses. You cannot claim to be committed to Christ when you decline to commit to your spiritual father figure because the father figure is a type of Christ.
Once you commit to Christ through your father figure, such that you are in complete submission to divine purpose, as symbolized by the covenant, God begins the process of consecrating/setting you apart for divine service.
Now remember one thing. All this takes place within the cloud, which is the carriage of divine presence or the grace of Christ.
The other thing is, within the cloud, there is only one human vessel who serves as your prophetic accompaniment, who mediates on your behalf to God. We may all be under the cloud, yet not all, but one individual vessel carries the mantle of divine password to draw out the benefits of divine grace locked up in the spirit.
Deny your prophetic accompaniment and you’ll miss out on the benefits of divine grace. You may end up just being part of the mixed multitude, who followed the children of Israel not because of personal commitment to Christ (prefigured as Moses), but due to the convenience of escaping divine judgment.
It takes more than just following the cloud. You must be in the cloud, and connect to your prophetic accompaniment inside the cloud. To connect to the prophetic accompaniment, you must be in concord with the doctrinal instruction he gives you and unite with his spirit. Upon union with the doctrinal instruction/counsel/direction from the Man of God, together with his spirit, you’ll catch the grace to walk in the covenant of God.
You may be under the cloud but short of perceiving the divine tangibility of God’s presence. It’s the presence of God that causes you to relate well with both the prophetic accompaniment, not just on the surface but tapping into the grace he carries. When you tap into the grace of Christ vested upon the man of God you are able to connect to the divine capacity to handle the prophetic word of instruction/counsel/direction.
To be baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea denotes being united with Christ in the likeness of His death. This means that your prophetic accompaniment who is a type of Christ becomes the vessel which the Lord beings you to become one with.
Your unity with your prophetic accompaniment brings you to the place/level where regardless of the turbulence/peril/adversity you experience during your journey of life, sufficiency is afforded unto you by reason of divine grace.
By drawing the divine grace of Christ vested upon your father figure, your faith is galvanized to stay focused on the reality of Christ expressed via the Cloud of His presence, rather than focusing on your turbulence.
The cloud is like an air conditioner that ventilates your spiritual man, and refreshing your life. Your spiritual man experiences the cooling effect of the spirit in the day and the warmth effect afforded by the pillar of fire by the night.
The cloud of divine tangibility, which is the carriage of divine presence is the transcendent carriage of navigation through the wilderness of process, where the flesh cannot program, determine and steer a believer through towards purpose.
The cloud is the symbol of covenantal devotion to Christ, where only Christ becomes your Object of faith, not yourself; where you learn to walk by faith and not by sight; where you learn to live by the proceeding word of the season/moment, in light of purpose.
Within the cloud of divine tangibility, you yield to wholesome preceding word of eternal purpose as the scale by which you weigh your spiritual state to sharpen your antennae so as to handle the proceeding word.
