The Mountain Of God’s Aura/Presence – Part 3: Sermon By Bishop Gobanga
But in the latter days it shall come to pass that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains; and it shall be exalted above the hills, and peoples shall flow to it. And many nations shall come and say, Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us His ways, and we may walk in His paths. For the law shall go forth out of Zion and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
Micah 4:1-2 (AMP)
The proclamation of every word of truth from God comes at a specific time and season.
The secrets of God are encoded in the Scripture.
When the spirit of revelation comes upon you, God removes the veil that has clouded His mysteries to usher you into the depth of His mysteries. He reveals what is to come.
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]
John 16:33 (AMP)
You must be consecrated to qualify to be initiated to the mysteries of God. Those who are not consecrated cannot qualify.
Without a consecrated life of walking in the Spirit, you may have a considerable understanding of Scripture and theology but lacking in truth.
Theology is information about God according to the Bible. You do not need to be saved or consecrated to be theological.
God wants us to move in the powerful demonstration of the Spirit of God. Jesus is the truth personified. God wants Jesus to be our form, pattern and expression.
The truth does not come to a people who are lofty or proud. It comes to them that are humble and contrite at heart.
What will induct you to heaven is the person of Christ.
God wants us to encounter and commune with the reality of His person, not His workings.
When you are caught up in a movement and not the person of Christ, you can still miss out. Jesus is the substance and summation, beginning and end. God does not want us to be church-minded (denominational). He was us to Kingdom-minded. Because when you are Kingdom-minded, you will definitely be Church-minded (The Body of Christ).
The Kingdom includes everything we all are pursuing.
The glory cloud that went before the Israelites in the wilderness is the same in Genesis 1 that hovered over the earth before creation.
The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.
Genesis 1:2 (AMP)
The glory cloud was hovering and fluttering over the children of Israel in the wilderness.
The glory cloud is a manifestation of the Divine presence of God, a miniature of the invisible heaven where God manifests Himself from invisibility to visibility. It was a theophany – a visible presence of the throne of God with a people.
The difference between any other place and the Garden of Eden was the presence of God. It made it different because of His presence.
God wanted to make Adam and Eve His royal temple. God is interested in people that He can abide with and commune with face to face.
God wants to manifest Himself and dwell with people. Wherever He is becomes His throne.
The glory cloud was loaded with innumerable angels because where God goes, there are angels that guard His presence.
God is conducting the entire human race back to Eden. (Reference: Revelation 21) Eden is not physical. It is a place of delight, a door unto heaven, a gate into His presence.
Jesus ordained the Church as a miniature of His temple.
Purpose is conceived and birthed in God’s presence.
The knowledge of God’s purpose can only be apparent in the presence of God.
God is the progenitor of purpose. To capture the spirit of purpose, be found in the sanctity of His presence.
For you to be sustained in the journey of purpose, be found in the sanctity of the presence of God.
You can only be able to capture the Spirit of revelation, the wisdom of God in His presence.
You cannot see perfectly in the spirit unless you keep in the Spirit.
The principles of God’s word can only be enforced by the spontaneous applicability of His presence.
You cannot give what you do not have.
There is the omnipresence of God – He is everywhere whether you feel it or not, whether you believe in Him or not.
There is the manifest presence of God where God manifests to you individually. Where God wants to make Himself real to you. His tangible, Divine presence.
When you transcend into the realm of Divine tangibility, you will be secure and whole.
The reason why we fast is to be able to catch things in the spirit, where you have a direct line with heaven. Fasting humbles the flesh amplifying our hearing in God.
God has spoken once, twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God. Also to You, O Lord, belong mercy and loving-kindness, for You render to every man according to his work.
Psalm 62:11-12 (AMP)
There are certain things that heaven will minister to you, things that no eye has seen when you are caught up in the third heavens where there is no sorrow, bitterness or unforgiveness. It is a place where all your plans change.
But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].
1 Corinthians 2:9 (AMP)
There is no program in that dimension. There is only spontaneity in God.
For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, For we are also His offspring.
Acts 17:28 (AMP)
In this realm, the Spirit grants you understanding.
But there is [a vital force] a spirit [of intelligence] in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives men understanding.
Job 32:8 (AMP)
It is an encounter with God that causes your face to shine like Moses. That shining is a type of sanctification and purity within you, a type of what is happening within you.
When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tables of the Testimony in his hand, he did not know that the skin of his face shone and sent forth beams by reason of his speaking with the Lord.
Exodus 34:29 (AMP)
The relevance of the purpose of God in your life is validated by the manifest presence of God in your life.
God wants you to manifest His presence in each and every aspect of your life.
Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16 (AMP)
He does not want to be an idea but instead, He wants to be tangible and real in your life. God wants to be the life and reality in you.
Everything exists because God exists. It is His presence that adds value to all that exists.
For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
Acts 17:28 (NKJV)
Many are existing and not living. They are not fulfilling God’s purpose for their life because they do not have a relationship with Him. We need to thrive.
For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification].
Romans 1:20 (AMP)
To this end, God has initiated the process of ascent to the mountain of prophetic mountain of worship and consequently access our inheritance in Him.
By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become sharers (partakers) of the divine nature.
2 Peter 1:4 (AMP)
The experience of the power of God in His presence grants you strength to walk into your inheritance.
You can only access your inheritance on His prophetic mountain of worship. You cannot access what is yours when you are not in your right place on the mountain.
His promise is the key to your inheritance.
[Earnestly] remember this, be ashamed and own yourselves guilty; bring it again to mind and lay it to heart, O you rebels! [Earnestly] remember the former things, [which I did] of old; for I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure and purpose.
Isaiah 46:10 (AMP)
If you want to be successful in your career, family and home, seek His presence!
God told Moses that His presence/face will go with him. Moses did not care about where God was leading him but that the presence of God be with them. What will distinguish you from every other person is not your credentials, performance, background but the presence of God.
Moses said to the Lord, See, You say to me, Bring up this people, but You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You said, I know you by name and you have also found favor in My sight. Now therefore, I pray You, if I have found favor in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You [progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with You, perceiving and recognizing and understanding more strongly and clearly] and that I may find favor in Your sight. And [Lord, do] consider that this nation is Your people. And the Lord said, My Presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest. And Moses said to the Lord, If Your Presence does not go with me, do not carry us up from here!
Exodus 33:12-15 (AMP)
It will enable you to come to the place of rest.
And Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God. He took away the foreign altars and high places and broke down the idol pillars or obelisks and cut down the Asherim [symbols of the goddess Asherah] And commanded Judah to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers [to inquire of and for Him and crave Him as a vital necessity], and to obey the law and the commandment. Also Asa took out of all the cities of Judah the idolatrous high places and the incense altars. And the kingdom had rest under his reign. And he built fortified cities in Judah, for the land had rest. He had no war in those years, for the Lord gave him peace. Therefore he said to Judah, Let us build these cities and surround them with walls, towers, gates, and bars. The land is still ours, because we sought the Lord our God; we have sought Him [yearning for Him with all our desire] and He has given us rest and peace on every side. So they built and prospered.
2 Chronicles 14:2-7 (AMP)
And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.
2 Chronicles 26:5 (KJV)
What will qualify you more than others as you seek to do business is the favour you have with God.
And Jesus increased in wisdom (in broad and full understanding) and in stature and years, and in favor with God and man.
Luke 2:52 (AMP)
Obed-Edom carried the presence of God. He prospered.
So David was not willing to take the ark of the Lord to him into the City of David; but he took it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite. And the ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite for three months, and the Lord blessed Obed-edom and all his household. And it was told King David, The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the City of David with rejoicing.
2 Samuel 6:10-12 (AMP)
As we go to the seven gates of society, He is looking for a people that will not defile themselves and carry the presence of God.
God is not looking for qualified people but how much of the presence of God you have in you.
God wants you to go beyond the place where you are into the kabod (His manifest presence).
God wants people that He can trust with His presence which is loaded with resources (wisdom, knowledge, etc).
And the king conversed with them, and among them all none was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; therefore they were assigned to stand before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding concerning which the king asked them, he found them ten times better than all the [learned] magicians and enchanters who were in his whole realm.
Daniel 1:19-20 (AMP)
[For my concern is] that their hearts may be braced (comforted, cheered, and encouraged) as they are knit together in love, that they may come to have all the abounding wealth and blessings of assured conviction of understanding, and that they may become progressively more intimately acquainted with and may know more definitely and accurately and thoroughly that mystic secret of God, [which is] Christ (the Anointed One). In Him all the treasures of [divine] wisdom comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden.
Colossians 2:2-3 (AMP)
God has called us to multiplication but we can only multiply what He gives us depending on how much of His presence we carry.
There is a place in the spirit where you need to have a one-on-one with God if you want to be a leader or if you want to be used of God.
Moses had this with God before he went to stand in the presence of Pharaoh.
God wants you to come to the place where you manifest His presence to other people. Where they know that you have had an encounter with God. That you have been with Him.
Now when they saw the boldness and unfettered eloquence of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned and untrained in the schools [common men with no educational advantages], they marveled; and they recognized that they had been with Jesus.
Acts 4:13 (AMP)
God does not want you to make monuments of the experiences you have in Him. Catch the reality of God in that experience that will usher you to another experience and reality of Him.
We are a royal priesthood, a chosen generation. This is only so by having the presence of God abiding in your life.
God has called us to be a chosen generation – a distinct people!
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:9 (AMP)
There is an aspect of your talent that is fine-tuned in the presence of God into the class of cunning works.
And the Lord said to Moses, See, I have called by name Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and ability, in understanding and intelligence, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship, To devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze, And in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of craftsmanship. And behold, I have appointed with him Aholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and to all who are wisehearted I have given wisdom and ability to make all that I have commanded you.
Exodus 31:1-6 (AMP)
The presence of God makes you secure. It enables you to know your jurisdiction and not break ranks.
We are not permanent. Those that come after you must be better than you.
People who are insecure do not have God’s presence.
There are certain aspects of the presence of God that you cannot access until certain veils are removed.
And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18 (AMP)
It is at the Holy of Holies that you encounter the presence of God. It is where the reality of God is found.
The reality of God is found in the Holy of Holies. It is meant for every person who is born-again.
The prophetic mountain of worship is a place where we worship God in the Holy of Holies.
