INFEMI SOE 2015 (Day 3): The Season Of Open Doors – Part 2 | INFEMI Sermon By Bishop Mulumbi

INFEMI SOE 2015 (Day 3) – The Season Of Open Doors – Part 2: INFEMI Sermon By Bishop Mulumbi

Elijah the Tishbite, of the temporary residents of Gilead, said to Ahab, As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, before Whom I stand, there shall not be dew or rain these years but according to My word. And the word of the Lord came to him, saying, Go from here and turn east and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, east of the Jordan. You shall drink of the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there. So he did according to the word of the Lord; he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, east of the Jordan. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning and bread and flesh in the evening, and he drank of the brook. After a while the brook dried up because there was no rain in the land. And the word of the Lord came to him: Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you. So he arose and went to Zarephath.

When he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her, Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand. And she said, As the Lord your God lives, I have not a loaf baked but only a handful of meal in the jar and a little oil in the bottle. See, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it–and die. Elijah said to her, Fear not; go and do as you have said. But make me a little cake of [it] first and bring it to me, and afterward prepare some for yourself and your son. For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: The jar of meal shall not waste away or the bottle of oil fail until the day that the Lord sends rain on the earth. She did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days. The jar of meal was not spent nor did the bottle of oil fail, according to the word which the Lord spoke through Elijah.

1 Kings 17:1-16 (AMP)

Every time when God wants to open a door for His people, He allows them to hit a wall and get stuck. He allows them to stagnate.

Open doors happen in a specific time and way ordained by God.

Elijah released a prophetic word of drought over Israel. When he spoke the prophetic word, he did not know that it would affect him.

The prophetic word does not favour the prophet. By Elijah’s word, the atmosphere changed to accommodate drought.

God gave Elijah another prophetic word to deliver him from the effects of his prophetic word.

God needed to open a door for Elijah to survive.

God had to create another atmosphere which will be able to provide for Elijah in the midst of an atmosphere where everyone else is suffering.

1 Kings 17:2-6 (AMP)

God always begins by instructing you on how to access the mountain (atmosphere).

If Elijah did not obey God’s voice, he would not be able to access the atmosphere God had created for him. The prophet cannot walk into that atmosphere without God’s instructions.

Bethel is the gate to heaven. Jacob’s heart was dealt with in Bethel. He needed to carry an atmosphere that would help him succeed in difficult places and every place he goes.

We can all be in the same place but be in a different atmosphere.

There is an atmosphere that does not allow you to function. You need to step into and carry an atmosphere that causes everything to submit to you.

Most of us are failing in the business world because we are carrying the wrong atmosphere.

The Church and men of God need to release people into an atmosphere that will cause them to succeed wherever they are. Witchdoctors do the same yet our God is greater.

When you are in the atmosphere that God has created for you, you will live in provision even when everyone else is suffering.

You can have your inheritance even when everyone says you can’t have it.

When the Kingdom of God shows up, every other kingdom must submit.

The Church has been given power and dominion as sons of God. The world is waiting for the sons of God to manifest. This generation needs to access an atmosphere that can only be broken into through obedience.

Elijah had to obey God to access an atmosphere so that anyone comes into contact with him and honours him could access the same atmosphere.

This atmosphere addresses everything that is against your life. For Elijah, he obeyed God and was fed by the ravens and drank of the brook during a time of drought.

In this mountain, you will access what is yours. Everything that has been against you will roll out of your life.

When the brook dried up, the atmosphere was still there.

After a while the brook dried up because there was no rain in the land.

1 Kings 17:7 (AMP)

God was involved in the drying of the brook. Because it was a season of open doors, someone else needed the atmosphere to access what is theirs. This was the widow of Zarephath.

The only way they could have an open door was when the atmosphere shows up.

1 Kings 17:8-10 (AMP)

Elijah was obeying the voice of God. He was not looking for a meal. He needed to carry that atmosphere to someone who needed it to. The atmosphere was not just for him.

The widow of Zarephath was preparing to die. She had only enough to survive for that day.

Faith is not denying reality. Faith is accepting reality and believing in a God that changes reality.

God deals with real problems. He deals with real issues. He calls things that are not as though they were.

The problem the widow of Zarephath had was fear. The mouth can speak what is not in the heart. She spoke out of fear. The flesh does not like to lose.

1 Kings 17:10-14 (AMP)

When this mountain begins to speak, it does not matter what you’re going through. Elijah spoke to the widow’s heart as she wanted to help but fear caused her to speak otherwise.

The widow’s door could not open unless she knew how to access the atmosphere. This atmosphere is a creative atmosphere. It creates for you.

The principles of God apply to all regardless of who you are as long as you submit to the counsel of God.

Bring your nothing to God. Serve God with your nothing. There is an atmosphere that you do not access or break into unless you obey God.

The widow could not survive unless she obeyed the prophetic instruction that was given to her by Elijah.

The atmosphere brought an ever increasing, sustained, continuous blessing into her life. Her oil and flour never ran out when she obeyed the Kingdom principle brought to her by Elijah.

Elijah carried a seed for her promotion.

There are a people that God has ordained for you to collide with and encounter as they carry the seed for your promotion. This is because these people are in your spiritual lineage. This is why it is important to not destroy all your relationships. Some people, especially congregants, are not there to stay.

There are people in churches waiting to connect with their spiritual lineage.

God is bringing His people into alignment as He wants them to inherit. He wants to release inheritance. You cannot inherit outside of your spiritual lineage. There is a lineage where you walk into you do not struggle to understand spiritual things.

If you are frustrated in the church you are in, it might be because you have not connected to your spiritual lineage.

Spiritual things like spiritual atmospheres are as real as you are. They transform people in a day. They unlock things in you.

In this mountain, all of us have been called and invited to access our inheritance. You will be sent out from the mountain with an atmosphere that will cause you to succeed because you carry that atmosphere.

The atmosphere matters.

The widow had to know how to handle the carrier of the atmosphere. Most people that lose what is theirs lose because of familiarity with the set man of God in their life.

There is an anointing that equals your problems and circumstances. It can release you anywhere. No circumstance can take it away.

What you need to do is to learn how to receive the carrier of the atmosphere. You need honour. The anointing that you don’t honour cannot change your life.

You need to not just honour, but to also supply.

The widow was given the opportunity to supply to Elijah. God supplied to the Elijah but He needed her to supply where He supplies so that she can access the atmosphere. She needed to honour him, receive him and to supply to him so that God could supply to her.

God is looking for a people that supply to His purpose. When you supply to the purpose of God, He will supply to you.

Where are the people in the Church who want to supply where God is supplying?

There are people who are non-believers who supply where God supplies (to His purpose) and that is why they are blessed abundantly.

All of creation is His beloved. God never created enemies. Everyone, even unbelievers, belong even before they know that they do.

The blessing that God is releasing to His people is not for them but for God’s purpose. They need to supply where God supplies and this will cause them to never lack. They will live in a continuous, sustained, ever increasing blessing.

You can have many things, but you are never blessed until you become a blessing. God will never bless you for you. He will bless you for His purpose.

God will never bless you unless you become a blessing.

You need to be a blessing to the purpose of God, to all people (not just His people).

One act of mercy can change your neighbour’s home.

God only needs your yes. Don’t shut your open door by refusing to obey God.

Every mountain requires a sacrifice.

And Jacob left Beersheba and went toward Haran. And he came to a certain place and stayed there overnight, because the sun was set. Taking one of the stones of the place, he put it under his head and lay down there to sleep. And he dreamed that there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven; and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it! And behold, the Lord stood over and beside him and said, I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father [forefather] and the God of Isaac; I will give to you and to your descendants the land on which you are lying. And your offspring shall be as [countless as] the dust or sand of the ground, and you shall spread abroad to the west and the east and the north and the south; and by you and your Offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed and bless themselves. And behold, I am with you and will keep (watch over you with care, take notice of) you wherever you may go, and I will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done all of which I have told you.

And Jacob awoke from his sleep and he said, Surely the Lord is in this place and I did not know it. He was afraid and said, How to be feared and reverenced is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gateway to heaven! And Jacob rose early in the morning and took the stone he had put under his head, and he set it up for a pillar (a monument to the vision in his dream), and he poured oil on its top [in dedication]. And he named that place Bethel [the house of God]; but the name of that city was Luz at first. Then Jacob made a vow, saying, If God will be with me and will keep me in this way that I go and will give me food to eat and clothing to wear, So that I may come again to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God; And this stone which I have set up as a pillar (monument) shall be God’s house [a sacred place to me], and of all [the increase of possessions] that You give me I will give the tenth to You.

Genesis 28:10-22 (AMP)

When the mountain release you to your blessing, remember to come back and give a thanksgiving offering.
