INFEMI SOE 2015 (Day 4) – The Season Of Open Doors – Part 3: INFEMI Sermon By Bishop Mulumbi
On the third day there was a wedding at Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited with His disciples to the wedding. And when the wine was all gone, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no more wine! Jesus said to her, [Dear] woman, what is that to you and to Me? [What do we have in common? Leave it to Me.] My time (hour to act) has not yet come. His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do it. Now there were six waterpots of stone standing there, as the Jewish custom of purification (ceremonial washing) demanded, holding twenty to thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, Fill the waterpots with water. So they filled them up to the brim.
Then He said to them, Draw some out now and take it to the manager of the feast [to the one presiding, the superintendent of the banquet]. So they took him some. And when the manager tasted the water just now turned into wine, not knowing where it came from–though the servants who had drawn the water knew–he called the bridegroom And said to him, Everyone else serves his best wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then he serves that which is not so good; but you have kept back the good wine until now! This, the first of His signs (miracles, wonderworks), Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory [by it He displayed His greatness and His power openly], and His disciples believed in Him [adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him].
John 2:1-11 (AMP)
Every open door that God sets for you is to take you into a new experience in God. He does this so that you can access your inheritance.
No Scripture is exhaustive. There is always a new revelation within it.
Jesus was at a wedding in Cana.
A wedding is a common function where you know what will happen.
People have made the house of God a common function. They don’t expect something new or supernatural to happen.
God wants His people to understand that His house is a place of His presence. It is not a common function.
In the wedding at Cana, the people were drinking a wine that was made by man. It was a common function.
God does not want the Church to be dominated by the flesh as the flesh cannot break into the Divine. He wants to minister to your spirit and your heart.
That which ministers to your flesh cannot change you. This inheritance that God has ordained for you cannot be accessed in the flesh.
You need to break into an atmosphere ruled by the intensity of His presence.
Then the wine at the wedding ran out.
And when the wine was all gone, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no more wine!
John 2:3 (AMP)
The flesh cannot take you all the way. The flesh will always frustrate you. The flesh can never benefit you. You will always hit a wall and need an open door. But an open door cannot be accessed in the flesh.
God can usher us into an atmosphere but sometimes we cannot sense it. This is when we are enjoying what the flesh can do. This is when we are enjoying our own strength, power and ability. The flesh cannot perceive the atmosphere.
Jesus represents an atmosphere. The people at the wedding could not perceive who Jesus was.
Mary represents the prophetic. She was the only one who knew who Jesus was and what Jesus could do.
That is why God causes His vessel to first access the atmosphere. In this case, it was Mary. As a vessel, you need to access the atmosphere because you cannot take people where you have never been.
When the wine was over, that is when the people needed a Divine act. If you minister to people who are in the flesh, it is a waste of time. They cannot comprehend the prophetic.
When your flesh frustrates you, know that your frustration is a prophetic voice asking you to dislocate from where you are and to relocate elsewhere. Into another atmosphere.
God wants you to shift in the spirit as you are sitting in a place where things are not happening.
When the Church gets tired of what man can do and wants to see what God can do, that is when the Church will break through into a new dimension. That is when they will break into the Divine where nothing is a common function but a dimension of the supernatural.
God will not visit people that do not have questions that need answers.
Gideon had questions.
Now the Angel of the Lord came and sat under the oak (terebinth) at Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, and his son Gideon was beating wheat in the winepress to hide it from the Midianites. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, The Lord is with you, you mighty man of [fearless] courage. And Gideon said to him, O sir, if the Lord is with us, why is all this befallen us? And where are all His wondrous works of which our fathers told us, saying, Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? But now the Lord has forsaken us and given us into the hand of Midian. The Lord turned to him and said, Go in this your might, and you shall save Israel from the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you? Gideon said to Him, Oh Lord, how can I deliver Israel? Behold, my clan is the poorest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house. The Lord said to him, Surely I will be with you, and you shall smite the Midianites as one man.
Judges 6:11-16 (AMP)
As was the case with Gideon, your might is in your questions.
He is the same God. What He did before, He can do far beyond, over and above.
God is releasing an atmosphere where we will begin to resurrect the dead. An atmosphere we will stop funerals.
This thing is real. It is in you. The power of resurrection is at work in you.
This is the generation that will show the world that Christ is real and that He is alive.
The problem is that many believers have gone to many preachers but have never accessed Christ. What you need is the knowledge of Christ.
What delivers you is the voice of God. It is not the hand of man. If you can hear the voice of God, you can be delivered. All you need is the voice of God.
It is not about the preacher. It is about accessing an atmosphere that can only be accessed with the presence of God.
When you access the atmosphere, things shift. It is not about who you are, it is about the presence of God.
God is releasing an atmosphere that will cause every power that is not of God to submit.
Mary did not speak to the servants. She first spoke to Jesus about the wine being over as He was the one who carries the atmosphere.
When you know God, you can cause Him to do anything, anywhere anytime. You need to have a revelation of Him.
John 2:3-5 (AMP)
These things don’t happen without the voice. What will happen will be determined by the voice.
Mary knew who Jesus was. She only asked that the servants obey Jesus’ instruction.
We are spirit beings. This thing is real.
It’s not about where you are. It’s about the atmosphere you are in.
The secret of success in this world is hearing the voice of God and obeying what He asks of you.
Mary did not argue with Jesus. She asked the servants to listen to what Jesus would say.
John 2:5-7 (AMP)
6 is the number of humanity. It is the number of flesh. There were 6 pots.
The Israelites used to cleanse themselves before meeting with God. This was to put off the flesh and prepare to access the Divine.
You can never use the flesh to access the Divine.
Again David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, 30 ,000. And [he] arose and went with all the people who were with him to Baale-judah [Kiriath-jearim] to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord of hosts, Who sits enthroned above the cherubim. And they set the ark of God upon a new cart and brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab, drove the new cart. And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill, with the ark of God; and Ahio went before the ark. And David and all the house of Israel played before the Lord with all their might, with songs, lyres, harps, tambourines, castanets, and cymbals. And when they came to Nacon’s threshing floor, Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled and shook it. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for touching the ark, and he died there by the ark of God.
2 Samuel 6:1-7 (AMP)
Everything that is of the flesh will stumble.
Uzzah was not consecrated to handle God’s presence. You need to be consecrated to handle certain levels of God. That which is of the flesh cannot handle that which is of the spirit.
Jesus said to them, Fill the waterpots with water. So they filled them up to the brim. Then He said to them, Draw some out now and take it to the manager of the feast [to the one presiding, the superintendent of the banquet]. So they took him some.
John 2:7-8 (AMP)
If you can hear the voice, you can access what is yours.
When you access success by the voice, your success will only be sustained by the voice. God will keep you in your throne when you keep hearing Him.
In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
John 1:1-3 (AMP)
Everything created was created by the word is sustained by the word. If God were to withdraw His word, everything that we see would cease to exist.
Keep opening your ears to hear what God is saying. His voice will sustain you where He puts you.
Everything that you are looking for will be sustained by His voice. Only hear His voice and obey to break into the spirit.
Your inheritance was already spoken into being. Nothing and no one can keep you from accessing your inheritance.
John 2:6-8 (AMP)
Remember to obey the voice of the Lord your God. It may never make sense. It might look senseless but just obey. God only needs your yes.
If God said it, He will do something about it. He never makes mistakes. Everything He creates He will sustain with His voice. Just obey.
The act of filling in means that one day you will need to draw out. You can never draw out from where you have never filled. You can never harvest in another man’s spiritual life.
You’ve got to do something. You’ve got to sow into your life through prayer, fasting and waiting on God.
God visiting you does not make you spiritual.
You cannot receive from somewhere you never obeyed (so as to enter into an atmosphere) that enables you to draw from it or walk into your harvest.
You don’t walk into your blessing without obeying the voice. And once you obey you are allowed to access your harvest.
There is a process of filling in, of doing, of obedience, before God allows you to draw out.
John 2:9-10 (AMP)
What your flesh can produce can never be better than what God can produce for you. He creates the best for you. By your obedience you will walk into your best.
