The Prophetic Induction Of Man Created In His Element Of Purpose – Part 4: Sermon By Bishop Gobanga

For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him.

Praise Him, all His angels, praise Him, all His hosts! Praise Him, sun and moon, praise Him, all you stars of light! Praise Him, you highest heavens and you waters above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the Lord, for He commanded and they were created.

Psalm 148:2-5 (AMP)

Where were you when I laid the foundation of my earth? Tell me, since you’re so informed! Who set its measurement? Am I to assume you know? Who stretched a boundary line over it? On what were its bases set? Who laid its corner stone while the morning stars sang together and all the divine beings shouted joyfully? Who enclosed the sea with limits when it gushed out of the womb, when I made clouds to be its clothes and thick darkness its swaddling blanket, when I proscribed a boundary for it, set in place bars and doors for it; and said, ‘You may come only this far and no more. Your majestic waves will stop here.’? Have you ever commanded the morning at any time during your life? Do you know where the dawn lives, where it seizes the edge of the earth and shakes the wicked out of it? 

Job 38:4-13 (ISV)

Darkness in prophetic language is a pronouncement of judgment and wickedness as seen in Genesis 1:2. This was a result of the rebellion led by Lucifer.  

The morning stars in Job talk of the angels, the two thirds who decided not to rebel against God. They sang for joy because God restored the earth. Psalm 148:2-5 is a tribute of the restoration of the world by Jehovah. 

God created angels to be holy, even the fallen angels.

Angels had specific domains that they were in charge of. They had specific responsibilities, a specific sphere of influence and jurisdiction (Colossians 1:16).

Angels are referred to as heavenly hosts. At times they are also referred to as stars. These are the angelic spheres of authority. 

Put on the whole armour of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the devil’s strategies. For our struggle is not against human opponents, but against rulers, authorities, cosmic powers in the darkness around us, and evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realm. 

Ephesians 6:11-12

They are wild waves of the sea, churning up the foam of their own shame. They are wandering stars for whom the deepest darkness has been reserved forever. 

Jude 1:13

Fallen angels are wandering stars. They are the ones who broke ranks and lost their estate. They abdicated their province. 

The Eden for the angels is not the same one that Adam and Eve had. The one that Adam and Eve had was the second Eden.

Lucifer Before The Fall 

How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! 

Isaiah 14:12 (ESV)

Moreover, the word of the LORD came to me: “Son of man, raise a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus says the Lord GOD: “You were the signet of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle; and crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings. On the day that you were created they were prepared. You were an anointed guardian cherub. I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God; in the midst of the stones of fire you walked. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you. In the abundance of your trade you were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned; so I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of God, and I destroyed you, O guardian cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart was proud because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendour  I cast you to the ground; I exposed you before kings, to feast their eyes on you. By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your trade you profaned your sanctuaries; so I brought fire out from your midst; it consumed you, and I turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all who saw you. All who know you among the peoples are appalled at you; you have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more forever.

Lucifer is described as the morning star. He was the one to reflect the glory of God. He was the prime creature in the primordial Eden. There was no darkness in the first Eden. He embodied the beauty of God. Every other angel marvelled at him. He radiated only the glory of God. 

He wanted a light different than that of God. His issue was that he had nothing of his own.

Christ in the New Testament is referred to as the Morning Star (Hebrews 1). He is the new Morning Star who reflects the perfect glory of the Father. This was meant to be the work of Lucifer.

In Ezekiel 28:12, Lucifer was the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. He was meant to be the standard of perfection. The SI unit of perfection. The touchstone of symmetry. The reference point of what God wanted divinely.

He was full of wisdom until he perverted it and became the father of lies resisting the truth of God. Lucifer did not rebel because of ignorance. He was the wisest among all the creatures.

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 

1 Corinthians 1:24 (KJV)

Lucifer exemplified beauty; he was perfect in beauty. There are dimensions of beauty and Lucifer had come to the epitome of beauty. There was a summation of his elegance. There was nothing to add or subtract. The only one greater than him was God. God chose to pour His radiance and beauty in him. He was whole for the Bible to refer to him as perfect. The beauty of Lucifer was a revelation of the beauty God had. Nothing is beautiful until purpose is fulfilled. 

This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

 Psalm 118:23-24

When Lucifer fell he became fallen, abhorrent, repulsive, pugnacious and contorted. He lost his beauty. 

Jesus Christ is now seated at the right hand of the Father. (Revelation 21)

Ezekiel 28:13 talks about Eden as the Holy Mountain of God. There are 7 Edens in total. Eden is the presence and person of God. The Bible begins and ends with Eden.  

The second Eden was in Genesis 1:3 where God placed Adam and Eve. 

Lucifer was the most potent creature in the setting that God had created. But he was not content and so desired another thing out of God. 

Christ came to create a place for us that surpasses the original Eden. 

Let not your heart be troubled: believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also And whither I go, ye know the way. 

John 14:1 -5 (KJV)

In Revelation 21, we find that the new Jerusalem exceeds in comparison to the Eden Adam and Eve had.

You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle; and crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings. On the day that you were created they were prepared. 

Ezekiel 28:13 (ESV)  

This verse refers to Lucifer’s attire. These are the same stones that make the foundations of the New Jerusalem. 

Precious stones were additives to exemplify his beauty. God created precious stones to adorn him. God decided to do so because he wanted him marked out as the epitome of divine beauty.

They also made the Urim and Thumim – The Ephod. The stones are similar to those put on the breastplate of the high priest. 

And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before Jehovah continually. And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goeth in before Jehovah: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before Jehovah continually. 

Exodus 28:29-30 (KJV)

Foursquare it shall be and double; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof. And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle shall be the first row; and the second row an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond; and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; and the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be inclosed in gold in their settings. And the stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, every one according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes. And thou shalt make upon the breastplate chains like cords, of wreathen work of pure gold. 

Exodus 28:16-22 (KJV)

The stones represented the twelve tribes of Israel. It meant that God would have contact with all the tribes in Israel; indirect communication between the twelve tribes and God. The breastplate was a communication function between the high priest and God and an indirect communication between the 12 tribes and God. 

Each tribe of Israel was precious in the eyes of God. 

Lucifer was the high priest of the first Eden. He mediated on behalf of the pre-Adamite race. When you cover you have to appear before the presence of God. He is describes the anointed Cherub who covers. Jesus is prefigured in the OT as a high priest of the order of Melchizedek and from the lineage of Aaron. Christ came to represent God as a Father – he leads us to the Father. 

Lucifer led a third of the host of heaven to perdition. Instead of representing God, he corrupted the angelic host.

He was endowed with golden musical apparatus (Ezekiel 28:13). In the pre-Adamite race, gold was easily available and pure unlike the ordinary gold we have. The gold we have on earth is corrupted and impure due to the sin of Lucifer and man. In the New Jerusalem, perfected gold will make the pavements of Heaven.

Lucifer had instruments of wind and percussion in him. When he decided to sing an entire orchestra would be heard coming out of him. He was the leader of praise and worship. Yet instead of worshiping God Lucifer cursed God and thought that there would be no impact on him. When we confess negativity, we curse God. When we worship we promote ourselves.

In Hebrew, Mimsach means the messiah and Meshiach is to be venerated through the process of the anointing. Lucifer was anointed for the purpose of worship which means he was set apart for divine service. His service was worship. He was to serve as a divine functionary in the pre-Adamite race. 

And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi. 

Exodus 2:1 (KJV) 

Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the Lord hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance? 

1 Samuel 10:1 (KJV) 

And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

The anointing was to brand those anointed and hallmark them as appointed of God. This took place at the inception of their office not after. The anointing support is symbolic of the Holy Spirit who provides power, support and enlightenment from God. 

But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

The anointing activates wisdom and relevance in the life of an anointed one. The transmission of the spirit man connects with Heaven and as such application of wisdom on the Earth is relevant. We see this when Christ read the scriptures about Him being the Messiah. According to the calendar of Heaven – he was on time. It was time. 

Lucifer was not anointed with literal oil. He was given a special measure of the Holy Spirit; much more than the other angels. This marked him as the number one creature in creation. Though he was in a position of trust, he rejected God seeking His own aggrandisement. 

Lucifer did not know what was in the heart of the Father. When he fell, Christ knew what was in the heart of the Father and sought to do it. He was not persuaded to offer His life. He offered Himself to do it. There are things that God the Father has in his heart but he will not prompt you to do it. He wants you to catch it and do it. Some things are not taught, they are caught. There are things that the Father will require of you – you need to flow in the Spirit. 

Cherub have unlimited access to the presence of God. They are the highest ranking of angels; most coveted; blessed with an astounding access to the presence of God 

Cherubims lead worship in heaven. They are also divine functionaries in divine errands. They facilitate the access to the presence of God, guarding it from profanity. 

So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. 

Genesis 3:24

The cherubims guard the Tree of Life – which was a manifestation of the presence of God. Had Adam and Eve accessed the Tree of Life, they would not have been able to repent and would continue in evil perpetually. The Tree of Life was the gateway to heaven. 

It also represents Christ since when you partake of Christ you live forever. When you partake of the Tree of Good and Evil – you loose relationship and become structured in relationship with God. 

And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof. And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be. 

Exodus 25:17-20 (KJV)

Cherubs are multi-winged angels associated with the throne of God. They shield the throne of God. Lucifer was the principal guard of the throne of God. He was the imperial guard and the only one who guarded the throne of God. He was to ensure that there was absolute control in accessing the throne of God. It was when he fell that there came to be many angels who guarded the presence of God. 

Lucifer chose to walk out of the presence of God and hence got eternal damnation from the presence of God. He still draws people out of God’s presence. 

God does not make duplicates. When Lucifer fell he did not make another one like him. He will pick someone else and impact & equip the person to do what you have failed to do.

Lucifer is a jealous being and wants to make sure that no one else partakes of what he had. He doesn’t want man to have what he had. This is why he resists man from enjoying the presence of God. 

We took the place of Lucifer on the Earth which is why he comes to steal kill and destroy. He steals us from the Father, kills the zeal we have for the Father and destroys the prophetic purpose in us to hinder us from worshipping the Father because he knows how powerful the presence of God is. 

Jesus has granted us access past the cherubim symbolised when the veil was removed from the Holy of Holies. The veil was a barrier and had embroidered cherubs on it. When Jesus died on the Cross, the veil was torn and man now how full access into the presence of God. This means that we don’t need to go through a High Priest. The role of the human High Priest had ended. We have direct access to the Father.

In addition, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We now have power and authority in Jesus to crush the head of the serpent. 

Christ was tempted but was without sin but Lucifer decided to do exactly what God did not want him to do.
