The Prophetic Induction Of Man Created In His Element Of Purpose – Part 6: Sermon By Bishop Gobanga

Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre and say to him, Thus says the Lord God: You are the full measure and pattern of exactness [giving the finishing touch to all that constitutes completeness], full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the carnelian, topaz, jasper, chrysolite, beryl, onyx, sapphire, carbuncle, and emerald; and your settings and your sockets and engravings were wrought in gold. On the day that you were created they were prepared. You were the anointed cherub that covers with overshadowing [wings], and I set you so. You were upon the holy mountain of God; you walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire [like the paved work of gleaming sapphire stone upon which the God of Israel walked on Mount Sinai]. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created until iniquity and guilt were found in you.

Through the abundance of your commerce you were filled with lawlessness and violence, and you sinned; therefore I cast you out as a profane thing from the mountain of God and the guardian cherub drove you out from the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart was proud and lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I lay you before kings, that they might gaze at you. You have profaned your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities and the enormity of your guilt, by the unrighteousness of your trade. Therefore I have brought forth a fire from your midst; it has consumed you, and I have reduced you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who looked at you. All who know you among the people are astonished and appalled at you; you have come to a horrible end and shall never return to being.

Ezekiel 28:11-19 (AMP)

How have you fallen from heaven, O light-bringer and daystar, son of the morning! How you have been cut down to the ground, you who weakened and laid low the nations [O blasphemous, satanic king of Babylon!] And you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit upon the mount of assembly in the uttermost north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High. Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol (Hades), to the innermost recesses of the pit (the region of the dead).

Those who see you will gaze at you and consider you, saying, Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms? – Who made the world like a wilderness and overthrew its cities, who would not permit his prisoners to return home? All the kings of the nations, all of them lie sleeping in glorious array, each one in his own sepulcher. But you are cast away from your tomb like a loathed growth or premature birth or an abominable branch [of the family] and like the raiment of the slain; and you are clothed with the slain, those thrust through with the sword, who go down to the stones of the pit [into which carcasses are thrown], like a dead body trodden underfoot. You shall not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land and have slain your people. May the descendants of evildoers nevermore be named!

Isaiah 14:12-20 (AMP)

God chose to use the course of time as a context to respond to the rebellion of Lucifer. When God wants to deal with any act of sinfulness of man, he will do it in the context of time. Time is the agent He uses to execute his mercy as well as judgment. Time here denotes a succession of events that occasion the purpose of God, not the 24-hour system of time.

God’s holiness does not condone sin – this is why He judges it. For God to be deemed as righteous, He has to judge sin.

Lucifer thought that God was not going to respond to his rebellion.

They encourage themselves in an evil purpose, they talk of laying snares secretly; they say, Who will discover us? They think out acts of injustice and say, We have accomplished a well-devised thing! For the inward thought of each one [is unsearchable] and his heart is deep. But God will shoot an unexpected arrow at them; and suddenly shall they be wounded.

Psalm 64:5-7 (AMP)

Contrary to what Lucifer thought, God was going to respond to Lucifer’s rebellion. He already had a set answer for it.

God’s solution was in man, the seed that was to crush the head of the serpent. The man Jesus Christ – the second Adam – was the solution to Lucifer’s rebellion. He has used human history to humble the devil. This shows that God is not a God who is reactionary or in a hurry. He looks at the counsel of His will. His word stands eternal.

All personalities in the Bible are types symbolic of Jesus. Moses was a type of the Messiah delivering Israel from slavery in Egypt.

The judgment of Lucifer has been an ongoing process. It started in eternity and is still continuing.

For God, process is what is important, not time. His time does not run out because He is concerned about the final product. God is not held hostage by time since He lives in Eternity.

Until his word [to his cruel brothers] came true, until the word of the Lord tried and tested him.

Psalm 105:19 (AMP)

Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.

James 1:2-4 (AMP)

Though the rebellion was over a period of time, God chose not to react immediately. God was not in a hurry to vindicate Himself because He is secure in who He is. God is loaded with infinite wisdom. He will never do anything out of foolishness.

We are not meant to be in a hurry to vindicate ourselves in the eyes of men. Whether it be something people make up against you or the mistakes you made in the past. We should know that God forgives us when we call unto him with a sincere heart.

If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].

1 John 1:9 (AMP)

We should know that God is the One who vindicates us.

With the process that God takes us through, we are refined and in God’s wisdom, Satan always ends up as the loser. In God, allowing the rebellion to take place, He wanted to show the tyrannical reign that Lucifer created and the futility of his efforts. God’s judgment of Lucifer is in keeping with His perfect righteousness, and in keeping with His integrity and righteousness.

Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMP)

In Genesis 2, the Lord shut down the earth – darkness here is judgment.

Light denotes perception, understanding and revelation. When God shut the earth in darkness, it means God removed the light from Lucifer, i.e his perception, understanding and revelation of things, not to be able to see the end result of what they were doing. Darkness brings confusion.

The fighting between the angels is what made the earth formless. They saw the true form of satan since they saw the lies of the enemy for what they really are though they could not repent. The rebellious angels turned into demons as they lacked the light.

Their moral understanding is darkened and their reasoning is beclouded. [They are] alienated (estranged, self-banished) from the life of God [with no share in it; this is] because of the ignorance (the want of knowledge and perception, the willful blindness) that is deep-seated in them, due to their hardness of heart [to the insensitiveness of their moral nature].

Ephesians 4:18 (AMP)

The opposite is true for humanity when we take God’s side.

The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple. The rebellion of Lucifer was contained in the second heaven. It was not taken to God’s paradise. The second heaven is the realm of the spirit where the angelic host orchestrate the plans of either God or the enemy.

Psalm 119:130 (AMP)

Darkness also showed the faithfulness of God. The two thirds of the angels knew that God would not leave the earth in darkness and nothing would remain as it was in Genesis 1:2.

Any darkness and suffering we face as saints is an opportunity to show the host of hell that we are faithful to God e.g. Job and his suffering – his soul was not touched.

The worst suffering we can face is not physical but rather when our minds and hearts are shackled. This is the reason why the Kingdom of God is not by external observation but rather an inner reality in the life of a saint.

Asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He replied to them by saying, The kingdom of God does not come with signs to be observed or with visible display,Nor will people say, Look! Here [it is]! or, See, [it is] there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you].

Luke 17:20-21 (AMP)

For the kingdom of God consists of and is based on not talk but power (moral power and excellence of soul). The light that came to the second earth.

1 Corinthians 4:20 (AMP)

Man was created in such a way that it demonstrated all the weaknesses of satan. One thing man had that the angels did not have was a body. Though they are powerful, lacking a body meant they were limited in what they can execute on earth.

Unlike satan and the fallen angels, man had a body to inhabit the Eden of God on the face of the earth. This is why the fallen angels slept with daughters of men and there were giants on the face of the earth. This is also why satan inhabited the body of the serpent in the Garden of Eden.

And the Lord God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all [domestic] animals and above every [wild] living thing of the field; upon your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust [and what it contains] all the days of your life

Genesis 3:14 (AMP)

God requires a man to carry out His purpose on the face of the Earth.

The heavens are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth has He given to the children of men.

Psalm 115:16 (AMP)

Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own

1 Corinthians 6:19 (AMP)

Surely the Lord God will do nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets.

Amos 3:7 (AMP)

The enemy always coveted a body and the most applicable one was that of the serpent. It was the most beautiful creature before it was cursed. It had limbs and was not crawling.

That is why the Bible warns us to keep our body as an instrument of righteousness. Because if we do not keep our body for God it will be a habitation for the enemy and his demons.

Adam and Eve were preserved from the prospect of eternal damnation by banishment from the Garden of Eden. So as to save mankind – God had to kick out man from His presence. This is the wisdom of God at work.

After the fall, there was spiritual death – man no longer had access to God and the Tree of Life. Physical death came later as well as a deteriorated lifespan. Man had to be banished, so that they do not become like satan who had access to God’s presence whilst walking in evil and iniquity.

How God handled the sin of Adam showed the core of who God is, meaning God has a way to restore us when we sin. His action and reaction is restorative in nature. How God handled the fall of our first parents, flows from the nature of His character.

Christ was made manifest to destroy the works of the enemy.

[But] he who commits sin [who practices evildoing] is of the devil [takes his character from the evil one], for the devil has sinned (violated the divine law) from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done].

1 John 3:8 (AMP)

Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.

Luke 10:19 (AMP)

Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).

Matthew 28:18-20 (AMP)

Angels have a great disadvantage unlike man in that they do not have bodies and were not created in the image and likeness of God.

As an apostolic and prophetic person, you are sent to exercise power and authority over satan’s work and bring order.

See, I have this day appointed you to the oversight of the nations and of the kingdoms to root out and pull down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.

Jeremiah 1:10 (AMP)

We are representatives of the Lord sent into the world to restore order. We must know what the enemy is doing so that we are able to destroy it and build what God wants in place. This often means we will be regarded as fools in the eyes of men. Wisdom also means we keep quiet when opposers come to us. Silence can be a powerful weapon.

What we need to know and understand in this generation is that there is no limit to what God can do to reconcile Himself to humankind. He restores far more than what was originally lost. The eventual outlook is far better than the original outlook. Though you experience darkness, we are to look forward to the light of our perfected state. The state He takes us to is the pristine state that we were in Christ.

The healing of God, makes what we have now stronger than what was lost. When God brings a new thing it is wired to your purpose in a better way than what was lost. You are in a better state. We are not to make reference to the past at all. If we do, we are not truly healed. When Jesus heals you, there will be no reference to the past.

The glory of the latter house will be greater than the former. #SELAH

The more you experience darkness is to renew and strengthen you in the inner man – so that when you manifest – creation will be in awe. You will be a son that will function in tandem to his heart and mind.

As humans, we have blamed our bodies for so many things. We punish and hate our bodies based on lies the enemy feeds us because he desires to have our body and cannot have it. Our body is not a burden, it is a gift. There are many things we cannot do without our body.

Deformity is not of God. However, it can provide a channel for God to show His nature and creative ability. That’s why we often find disabled people who are extraordinarily gifted.
