Convergence – Lead Me To The Rock – 2016 February Fast (Day 5): Devotion By Rev. Geoffrey Muchai
To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. Of David. Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy. Let me dwell in your tent forever! Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! Selah.Psalm 61:1-4
A stone is an object characterised by consistency and stability. In the Scripture above, a stone is a point of refuge and strength. A place of protection and restoration.
Christ is typified in this text as the eternal rock upon which the purpose of God stands and if we run to Him, we will find security and rest from every incapacity within us and every attack against us from the enemy.
Our first prayer point is to thank Christ Jesus for every work He has done in us. Let us consider how He has lead us from the time of salvation to this point and let us acknowledge His hospitality in ushering us into His abode.
Lessons from The Cryptogram of the Superlative Arcadia
Heaven is a place of convergence for God’s finite creatures. God uses this dimension to communicate times and seasons. Heaven was created to serve as God’s condo and the earth as the prophetic garden for the realisation of God’s purpose.
The earth is the manifestation of the invisible realm of heaven. When we see with divine perspective, we are able to see the convergence of the heavenly and earthly realm.
God created the heavens and the earth so that He may have fellowship with mankind and all creation.
When we pray, we pray into the spirit. God wants us to focus on the spirit. God wants us to access the spirit realm and to align everything according to the will of God. God wants us to access the heavenliness; to see His mind and heart and to deprogram anything that is against the will of God so that God’s will is enthroned.
Everything that God created is good because of His purpose. Everything on earth is raw. Our responsibility is to process the raw materials to reveal the beauty hidden within.
God’s appointed time is the time of convergence when all factors required by purpose are positioned for its manifestation.
When God’s speaks to us, He speaks to us in a season of inability. He then uses the process of time to culture us in light of His purpose.
1. Thank God for process. May God continue using process to align everything within us to His will from our gifts and talents to our affinities and affections. May our hearts and minds flow with His especially when we don’t feel like.
2. Pray for a deeper understanding of the Spirit realm. We cannot exercise our mandate as spirit beings void of this.
3. Pray also for God to teach us how to shift in the Spirit. When seasons change, we need to be prompt to align accordingly.
