The Binary Embodiment Of Being: Part 2 | INFEMI Sermon Series By Apostle Gobanga

The Binary Embodiment Of Being – Part 2: Sermon By Apostle Gobanga

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ.

Colossians 2:6-11 (KJV)

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Colossians 3:1-4 (KJV)

The carnal man cannot apply spiritual concepts. The spiritual realm is unseen and may be falsified. The carnal man will try and employ earthly concepts to bring the spiritual into the realm of the seen. It is dangerous to retain earthly concepts. When you do, you will see Jesus in a physical form.

God doesn’t have a right hand. He is omnipresent and is spirit. The use of the term “right hand” is figurative. It means that He is in close proximity with God at the position of strength and power and He is positioned at a place of sovereignty. It also means that He abides eternally with the Father. This is an abiding that is not subject to time and space. It is an abiding that means that Christ is co-ruling with the Father. Christ reigns in power and authority.

God does not sit the way you and I do because He does not have a physical body like you and I do. The Bible uses the natural to explain the spiritual because in our fallen state we lack the capacity to understand the spiritual as it really is. To sit at the right hand of power is to reign with Him. It is also to possess judicial power. To sit in prophetic terms here is to rest after fulfilling God’s sublime purposes. In Christ, we are elevated to the position of power and rest in God.

There aren’t 3 thrones in heaven for the persons of the Trinity. When we are united with Christ Jesus, we are exalted as He is and we are at the same place of dignity, power and authority. In Christ, we are elevated having conquered sin and death. When God is seated in the heavenlies, He is reigning without fluctuations.

When the Bible speaks of Jesus sitting at the seat of judgment, it does not refer to an actual physical seat of judgment like we have understood it; but it refers to a position of elevation. The judgment seat is not a physical seat, but is a place of elevation, for example, like a dais that stands out in front, set apart from the rest.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

2 Corinthians 5:10 (KJV)

If Jesus is your life and consciousness, then you have passed the judgment and are not condemned. People who are not Jesus-conscious are condemned.

The heavenly city made of gold that comes down from heaven refers to the Bride of Christ; the Church that was birthed through Christ. It was birthed the very moment when Christ laid His life down. Until Christ reproduces Himself through you, you are not yet born again. The city in reference here comprises of the man in the second heavens; the whole representation of the human race.

No matter how long the apostles would have been with Jesus, they still would not have been able to perceive Him aright until they were reproduced afresh.

Peter who had called Jesus the Son of God denied Him. He needed to be born again in the Spirit to fully understand Jesus as the Son of God.

The man in the second heaven perceives Christ and has been reproduced. Christ is the Word of God because of His purpose.

I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.S o then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Galatians 4:20-31 (KJV)

Being born of the same womb does not qualify you to be one. Even when you belong to a particular church and have submitted to the same grace under one man of God. Religion has deluded us that when we belong to one denomination, we should not pay mind to any other denomination. We thrive on association yet the very life of the One [Christ] that we serve is not alive in us. We don’t relate with Christ via naturalization. Our relationship is experiential.

People have an issue retaining spiritual things because of being carnal. A carnal mind doesn’t have the mind of Christ.

Spiritual things are discerned by the spiritual. Consecrated things belong to they that have been set apart. We must set aside our perception of the Church to gain access to the accurate perception of the Church as God intended it. We need to transact in spiritual disciplines with a revelation of what they are.

It may not be a problem to think in the natural. However, it would be wrong after receiving faith to still continue walking in the natural and conceptualizing it.

We are being called to pursue our purpose. Therefore, we need to put aside everything natural about how we see God.

Whenever God’s Word is ministered to you, it is meant to produce faith in you.

We can be caught up in fasting to get jobs. Fasting should be out of revelation. You cannot transact spiritual things from a natural place. The truth of God has wrath. There is a level of truth that can lead to one’s destruction.

There is a certain level of truth that we cannot be able to handle. This is what it means when the Bible says God lives in unapproachable light.

It is for this reason God told Moses he cannot see Him and live. He had to hide in the cleft of the Rock so that he can live. There is a place we must be in Christ so that we can handle the revelation of Who God is.

We need to put off the old Adam who was earthly and formed from the dust of the ground in Genesis 2.

The spirit man was formed after the image of God; the man in the second Heavens.

The man in the Genesis 2 couldn’t not function until God breathed life into his body. Without God’s purpose, his body wouldn’t function.

With God, nothing changes. When we fell, we fell dimensionally. When the Bible says that when in Christ you are a new creation, it means that you went back to who you were before you fell.

In essence, with the new, nothing changed – we are just being introduced to our original dimension that we fell from. It is new to us because we were born in the flesh. You cannot be able to walk in the newness of the New Adam whilst in the fallen state.

You can’t transact spiritual things in the carnal state. When you are in the flesh and try to transact with the Divine and it touches base with the corrupt self in you, you will be destroyed by allowing your state to become corrupted.

The anointing functions in the environment of grace. The gifts of God require an ambiance of grace to function. We must die to our old nature. The consciousness of the mind must determine that one needs to let go of the carnal nature and that you are dead in so far as your old nature is concerned.

You can’t claim to be in Christ when you walk in bitterness and unforgiveness.

The old man must die. This happens in the stratum of the subconscious mind. Old mindsets must be done away with. The passing from old Adamic patterns into Christ-likeness. This is death of the carnal man and his mind.

Death – Adam fell spiritually and lost the magnitude of this spiritual standing. The consciousness of Adam nature must be crucified and we need to put on Christ. We need to be accurate representations of God the Father on the face of the earth like Jesus while He was on the earth.

John 14 ~  This ‘I Am’ is the very ‘I Am’ that was declared to Moses in the wilderness. Jesus was able to make this declaration while in His earthly form..

Challenges shouldn’t hinder one from having a relationship with the Father. When you allow limitations of circumstances to cloud your view, you will not be able to serve.

Man shall not live by bread alone but by the Word of God [rhema, dabar word of God]. For us to live and access the supernatural, we need to be prayerful. Never fight people that have an issue with the things that God is doing in your life – they have a carnal perspective.

We are coming to a time when Bible verses won’t sustain. However, we shouldn’t discredit Scripture. We are coming to a time where we need to know more of the Person of Christ. You need the Spirit that inspired the writing of the Bible to be able to understand it.

The old priesthood is being phased out in Kenya and God is ushering in a new priesthood that has encountered Christ. A time will come when after encountering Christ we will require to go beyond what is in the Scriptures. What will make us stand is the Rhema Word of the season to sustain you.

A time is coming when God will have so transformed you that you will have to stand firm, not because of the word that you know, but because of the irrefutable testimony of the experience and the life of Jesus Christ.

Christ needs to be the fullness of your essence. God wants us to come to a point where we shouldn’t be structured.

People have become so lazy to the point where they want God to start relating with them at their level instead of at His level. Walking in the divine element of the law means being so in tune with God in your spirit man such that you are able to command life in the second heavens.

We are created in Christ. God is not making something out of us. There is a consciousness of Christ inputted in us. Being created in Christ is experiential. The consciousness of God isn’t about attending foundation or doctrinal class. It is only the consciousness of God that causes one to do good works.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)

There is a blueprint of good works that are predetermined by God in Christ. We are to capture that and execute on the face of the earth in fellowship with Christ. It is for this reason that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It is the unction that teaches ONE to function.

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

 1 John 2:27 (KJV)

Without Christ, you can’t have a conception of the invisible Christ. Putting on Christ means that He can teach you things that no man can or will. The consciousness of Christ enables one to tarry and perceive grace in the midst of tough situations. To be in Christ means you are walking in the consciousness and attributes of Who He is.

The Jesus that died on the Cross is a Saviour. The One on the throne is Lord. He is our Lord and Saviour. We must see Him in the power of His resurrection. Christ the Lord is the risen Lord and He is reigning.

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death

Philippians 3:10 (KJV)

Christ in the Spirit doesn’t have a physical body. He has a body comprising of different individuals. Christ the Lord takes us through the process of sanctification. Christ has distributed Himself to the members of His Body.

Every part of the Body (Church) has a redemptive call which has a particular grace. Christ the Lord brings you to a place of fullness.

If Christ were to give all of Himself to one church, it would become a cult.

And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands – that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Ephesians 2 (NKJV)

The blood of Christ roots out the Adamic nature. The forgiveness of Christ ensures that we no longer walk in bitterness and unforgiveness, regardless of whether others have offended you as you are also a offender. You forgive because you want to be forgiven, healed and grown.

The division we see in churches are physical. When people walk in strife, they are not walking in the spirit.
