The Divine Impulsions/Impetus/Energy & Plans: Part 1 | INFEMI Sermon Series By Apostle Gobanga

The Divine Impulsions/Impetus/Energy & Plans – Part 1: Sermon By Apostle Gobanga

It is imperative to be cognizant of what people’s intention/purpose is. Otherwise, you will misrepresent a person and misunderstand people.

The reason why people even though being talented end up being unproductive, is because they do not perceive aright the purpose for their life.

There is so much confusion in the world because people have missed out on the pristine purpose of God concerning life.

We need to understand God’s prophetic purpose. Otherwise, we will waste time, energy, natural abilities and talents.

God can speak but we may not understand what He is saying. He does not speak because He has a mouth but because He has a purpose.

When you miss out on God’s purpose then all He has spoken is of no use.

People respond to the right thing with the wrong means. This causes one to miss out on purpose. You may have an authentic response but end up responding to the wrong thing. People also respond to the wrong thing with the right means. This too is missing out. You may respond to the right thing but with the wrong mind by falling short of wisdom and knowledge.

The Lord reveals things through times and seasons. We are being called to a place of knowing times and seasons like the sons of Issachar to know what the Body of Christ ought to do.

As INFEMI, we need to arise to be able to inform the Body of Christ to know what to do per time per season.

Every configuration and dimension has a corresponding grace. Every individual has a unique dimension. Every message expresses itself differently to different people, each based on their configuration.

A message preached will apply differently to a different set of listeners. This is why it is important to understand times and seasons.

God’s purpose is hidden in what He says and does. Until you capture His intentions through the spoken word, you will miss out. He hides His intentions in His spoken word. If we can capture this, we will not fail to be relevant to our generation. A time will come when one needs to capture God’s intention beyond what is written in Scripture.

Because of not understanding God, what He says and what He does, the Church has misrepresented Him and as a result many people have turned to idolatry. A lacuna has been created in the Spirit and that is why such organizations as the Atheist society have risen up.

We have misrepresented Christ by seeing Christ in a manger and yet He is seated on the seat of majesty. Others have seen Christ as a Caucasian and yet He is Spirit.

Purpose is the divine energy to activate divine nature that causes us to manifest. Power is vested in God’s nature. Divine power is vested in God’s nature and causes purpose to be expressed. Capture His purpose, you capture power.

Purpose is birthed forth in the Word of God. This is when the voice of God turns the written into Rhema. Purpose is the divine breath that expresses the nature of God. It is the divine breath that expresses the Person of God; the Person of His Being. God breathed forth His purpose into Adam in the beginning.

The nature of God in your life will never find expression in your life unless you are in purpose.

Christ’s words are spirit ignited with divine power that finds expression in every situation. Divine power is expressed through His purpose and is resident in God. Purpose is birthed forth in the word of God.

Purpose is the fullness of the consummate element and divine breath that expresses His nature and expresses the person of His being.

When you move in the spirit, you will not be moved by the opinion of men.

When we capture/understand God’s prototypal purpose, it will help us understand the purpose of life.

Everything begins and ends with God. Where you are headed refers to season.

God’s primordial import concerning humanity is humongous compared to what we think or imagine. God’s level of ideology surpasses religion. God is very ideological, very theological, very philosophical, but at a very different level from ours.

When religion is the foundation of a culture, it will be difficult to change it because it is formed of predisposed ideas and hence results to discord and war all in the name of God.

You cannot have command of resources unless you have command of the supernatural. There is nothing you will be able to control in the natural if you are not ruling in the spirit.

To concur a nation, an altar is erected to a deity for the conquerer-to-be to start reigning in the spirit. For example, the British erected masonic lodges from Cape Town to Egypt for their global domination.

In every region in Kenya, there are demonic altars raised and that would explain the poverty in some regions and difficulty in accessing certain resources. The altar that is exalted is the one that rules and is in the spirit. Every one who submits to that altar receives of the spirit that rules that altar.

God is counting on the Church to raise altar unto Jesus so that we can deprogram all altars that are reigning in the spirit. cf:  Rhema to raise altars.

Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom He has chosen as His own inheritance.

Psalm 33:12 (AMP)

Any altar that is erected is that which rules. If we raise an altar unto Christ, we shall rule with Him.

God wanted to pervade the Earth with the culture of Heaven – this is the pattern that He intended.

I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth shall have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth  shall have [already] been loosed in heaven. “Again I say to you, that if two believers on earth agree [that is, are of one mind, in harmony] about anything that they ask [within the will of God], it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered in My name [meeting together as My followers], I am there among them.”

Matthew 18:18-20 (AMP)

Without heaven, the earth is a void – and it will be dark and void. Religion is man’s misconception and misrepresentation of God’s purpose. Religion works to capture God’s attention, i.e. performance, and not His purpose.

Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth.”  So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.  And God blessed them [granting them certain authority] and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subjugate it [putting it under your power]; and rule over (dominate) the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and every living thing that moves upon the earth.”

Genesis 1:26-28 (AMP)

This Scripture states God’s purpose.

When God’s speaks, pay attention as God’s voice reveals His nature and purpose. God’s intentions are much more than what He speaks.

The nature of God ministers to you at the point of your identity. Without purpose, you are a being merely existing and not living.

All the words that God has spoken via Rhema will not be effectual if you are just hearing/perceiving sound. There is a call to a second hearing; listening which is paying attention to the sound.

Listening implies going beyond attention to accepting and giving heed to that which is spoken and making consideration to the view of what He has spoken.

God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.

Psalm 62:11 (AMP)

Levels of hearing:

  • 1st speaking: hearing
  • 2nd speaking: listening to and interpreting the sound that’s been spoken.

In the Damascus experience, Paul heard a voice. His companions heard a sound.

Not all who listen are able to hear God. People who listen to God more than just hearing do not struggle to obey Him. There are things God wants you to listen for yourself and not by others. We need to get to a point of understanding His lingua so as to capture truth from God and store it in our minds.

People who listen are able to capture truth. Listen to the intention and purpose. This is the breath of God. The Word of God enables us to submit to the purpose of God which leads us to a place of function.

But you have an anointing from the Holy One [you have been set apart, specially gifted and prepared by the Holy Spirit], and all of you know [the truth because He teaches us, illuminates our minds, and guards us from error]

1 John 2:20 (AMP)

Purpose is the expression of God’s breath. The grace of God is supposed to be another expression of His power and that is the only way to understand the purpose of God. God’s grace helps us to be influenced to do above far above what you think or imagine.

Grace is the expression of God’s power that is called unmerited favour.

When you know who you are, you will not be moved by anything. When you are in Christ, marriages work.

God wants us to listen to what He says.

God created the earth for us to express dominion. In order for this to happen, God created a habitation for man to fulfill purpose on earth. God never intended the earth to be empty but to be full of plants and animal life under the superintendence of man.

God has always had a continual purpose of accentuating the earth through man from His invisible Kingdom. The Garden of Eden was established by God to serve as a protectorate/outpost/portal of heaven.

God created the spirit man in Genesis 1. In Genesis 2, the spirit being needed a body to manifest. His body was adapted to dwell in the physical environment.

God specializes in using our imperfections e.g. God using Moses a stammerer. There are things that only can be spoken by you as you hear from God. This is your portion of purpose for your generation. Aaron had to hear what Moses was saying.

The Kingdom of God is within us. The seed of the Word of God is what will grow and bear fruit in our lives. cf: Luke 8 – Parable of the Sower.

And when a great multitude had gathered, and they had come to Him from every city, He spoke by a parable: “A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trampled down, and the birds of the air devoured it. Some fell on rock; and as soon as it sprang up, it withered away because it lacked moisture. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it. But others fell on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a crop a hundredfold.” When He had said these things He cried, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

Luke 8:4-8 NKJV

When you underrate people, you will fight your destiny. God has always, continually induced His purpose to man.

When you plant seedlings, while in the ground they don’t look great. The Kingdom of God is invisible. When a seed is planted you do not see much. But when it is nurtured, it matures.

God used influence through the Garden of Eden as a place from where man was to fill the earth with His glory.

But indeed as I live, all the earth will be filled with the glory of the Lord.

Numbers 14:21 (AMP)

Blessed be His glorious name forever; And may the whole earth be filled with His glory.Amen and Amen.

 Psalm 72:19 (AMP)

But [the time is coming when] the earth shall be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea.

Habakkuk 2:14 (AMP)

Glory is the full expression of God’s nature. The glory of God refers to the fullness of His Person. It is the nature of God on display.

Greek word for glory – Doxa; Hebrew word for glory- Kabod. Glory translates to something being weighty or heavy. The glory of God is the weight of His Person.

Kabod is the reputation and glory of God that is being manifested on earth. It is His glory alone as only He deserves it because of His unsurpassed activity as our Savior and Deliverer.

Kabod refers to the visible disclosure of the Person of God.
