The Multifaceted Dimensions Of Reality Accessed Through The Enlightened Gaze: Sermon By Rev. Richard Muendo
Paul, an apostle (special messenger) of Christ Jesus (the Messiah), by the divine will (the purpose and the choice of God) to the saints (the consecrated, set-apart ones) at Ephesus who are also faithful and loyal and steadfast in Christ Jesus: May grace (God’s unmerited favor) and spiritual peace [which means peace with God and harmony, unity, and undisturbedness] be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm! Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.
For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]— [So that we might be] to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favour, which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence), making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed and set forth in Him, [He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth. In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will, so that we who first hoped in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him have been destined and appointed to] live for the praise of His glory! In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit.
That [Spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the firstfruits, the pledge and foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of its full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it—to the praise of His glory. For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints (the people of God), I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers. [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, by having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), and [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places], far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come. And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].
Ephesians 1 (AMPC)
Truth is the highest form of reality. Reality is a derivative of truth; it is the context through which a man of dominion is able to express the will of the Father.
In the realm of dominion, every individual is responsible for the quality of life one lives. It is not absolute dominion but delegated such that you have a certain expression of that truth. The criteria of delegated authority to influence the kind of life you want to live is predicated by predestination.
Dominion – relative supreme authority – confers upon man the might and capacity to rule and reign – that is – to influence your domain and impose the will of the Father.
To rule is to influence the jurisdiction of your predestined configuration – divine ordination from eternity – into the actualization of the will to grant you dominion.
It is being influenced for the actualization of the will of the One who gives us dominion.
We are called as sons. We are called as kings to the gates. We are called to rule.
The multifaceted dimension culminates with Christ. It is the diversity of the Body accessed through enlightened gaze – discernment.
Dominion confers upon man the mind to rule over the subsidiary components of manifestation. The subsidiary components are the elements of the spiritual blessings that equip us as the derivative of truth.
Rule is a principle meaning we can derive from a different source. You do not have to be righteous to rule, but the quality of your rule is evidenced by the deportment of your subjects.
When the [uncompromisingly] righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked man rules, the people groan and sigh.
Proverbs 29:2 (AMPC)
Paul was able to influence his jurisdiction by creating a prophetic atmosphere that enabled Gentiles to be saved.
Simon Peter was able to influence 3000 people from religion into accurate worship of the living God.
Jonah spoke to Nineveh into repentance.
Obadiah influenced Edom to worship the true God.
Hosea married a harlot to be able to represent the wicked ways of the children of Israel.
Jeremiah, in his prophetic office, called forth the slavery of Israel.
Job and his uninformed council – Job was able to demonstrate the supremacy of God in the affairs of man.
Ruth and redeemed Israel – she was an agent of the Almighty.
Moses and the ignorant heirs of the promise.
The actions all these men and women undertook were founded in faith.
Dominion is the technology/wisdom that is designed as a conduit through which the Ultimate and Source of all things, Whom we know as God, is able to manifest His will. It is a designed means that can be understood.
[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, by having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones).
Ephesians 1:17-18 (AMPC)
God created dominion in man not to be equated to Him but to be an expression of His nature! #SELAH
God is not an insecure God who has to prove Himself through a show of power. God does not compete with anyone because He exists in an unmatched dimension of dominion.
He delegated His nature in man and also gave man free will. God exists in such a heightened dimension of dominion that He (out of love) began to relegate that dominion in time and space. It takes a very secure dimension of being to delegate certain aspects of His being.
Dominion sources its DNA (capacity) and expression from the Father. We can only accurately express it effectively and efficiently if we have intimate relationship with the Father.
God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. And God blessed them and said to them: Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.
Genesis 1:26-28 (AMPC)
My people suffer because of lack of knowledge.
And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God].
Daniel 11:32 (AMPC)
In the realm of dominion, your perception and solution is your reality. You are in charge of the quality of life you lead. Have an expanded mindset, change your reality. When Paul encountered the resurrected Christ, his reality shifted because his mindset had been changed due to the new access point he had to Jehovah.
May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]. May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love. That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];
[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]! Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).
Ephesians 3:16-21 (AMPC)
For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).
2 Peter 1:3 (AMPC)
Dominion is the important means through which we access configuration and capacity to rule. Service is an aspect of dominion.
Dominion is sourced through the accurate and time-conscious access in the dimensions of the deep. We move from glory to glory. We are never stagnant in the realm of the Spirit. We keep moving up until we get to the fullness of the stature of Christ.
But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
John 16:13 (AMPC)
Levels of truth are revealed to you by the Spirit of God who leads you to all truth. Spiritual depths determine the augmentation of the heights in the Spirit. The deeper you plunge in the realms of the Spirit, the more augmented your capacity is to access the heights in the Spirit.
Not everything is meant for us. Dominion is limited to your boundaries.
Dominion causes us to access the will – heart and mind- of God and make it manifest in the reality on earth in the sphere of influence we have; in your gate, homes, schools and workplaces for your generation.
The man of dominion accesses his reality in eternity and makes it manifest in the realm of time and space. Your dimension does not just require skill but a prophetic atmosphere – reality of truth – as well. Dominion is expressed via the apostolic and prophetic.
Your corresponding reality in the second heaven is your call. You make it effective in your generation – this is called dominion.
In eternity, your identity is set aside as complete. But in time and space, God is unravelling His sons.
Enlightened gaze – a certain conviction concerning God’s ordination for your particular dimension and not another’s.
We cannot access our dominion if we are fearful and intimidated. We have to be bold in who we are and not compare ourselves to others. Our timidity is an offence to the culmination of Christ.
This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success. Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:8-9 (AMPC)
Timidity and fear comes into play because of generic understandings of truth i.e. facts and lies in the realm of time and space. It is so critical for the generation of this day and age to disassociate themselves from fear. Fear aborts purpose and cripples your capacity to express your dominion. It hinders you from actualizing your purpose and goes against the life that God has in store for you.
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.
2 Timothy 1:7 (AMPC)
We are unique and need every aspect of the Body of Christ.
So that there should be no division or discord or lack of adaptation [of the parts of the body to each other], but the members all alike should have a mutual interest in and care for one another.
1 Corinthians 12:25 (AMPC)
Thanksgiving is as a result of discerning God as the Source and comes from an enlightened gaze.
And my God will liberally supply ([fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19 (AMPC)
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7 (AMPC)
Your solution is your purpose for your generation.
Wisdom is the technology of combining principles in the realm of dominion. #SELAH
Your perception of God reveals what you have in God and you no longer relegate it to impossibility. We see the hope, riches and power we have in Christ that are accessible to us.
Hope configures our lives. It is a critical aspect of our calling because it enables one to ascend from despondency. Through hope, we get to understand the end point of our calling.
Hope reveals how rich and precious you are and this anchors your identity in the realm of the Spirit. It shows you how precious you are in the eyes of God, the riches of inheritance of the saints and the immeasurable power of God within you. Once you see yourself as valued and treasured, you will be able to express dominion.
Dominion comes from a place of having correct information. We are part of the multifaceted reality of Christ. The revelation of Christ reveals your dimension, calling, identity and realm of calling.
We cannot access effective prayer without having a personal revelation of who Christ is. Praying amiss is praying in or from someone else’s dimension of reality. Each must pray from the place of their enlightened gaze.
You will never be effective in life unless you are anchored in the revelation of Christ in your life. #SELAH
Not all that we see will be revealed when we are still alive as was the case in Abraham but the hope we have in God changes how we view life.
Life is in the spirit – the quality of life you lead must needs be spirit-led. An enlightened gaze will influence the quality of life you lead.
If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit we have our life in God, let us go forward walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.]
Galatians 5:25 (AMPC)
The quality of your life is decided by your will as man and not the surroundings of your life. It is based on joy not entertainment. Joy is internal while entertainment is external. Consider the aspects of the kingdom of God: righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
The quality of life you lead is one that is informed by knowledge that is accessed in Christ in whom are hidden all treasures of knowledge and wisdom.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.
Hosea 4:6 (AMPC)
The Lord speaks of His intention to visit everyone in the community at a very personal level. The impact of His visitation will vary from person to person depending on individual need, desire for divine touch and commitment to the things of God. Those getting married this year and early quarter next year should rest be assured that the Lord will grant His grace for every couple to have an awesome wedding. This is regardless of who is against or for a couple. More individuals will transition into other avenues of career.

God wants us to understand that the spiritual enlightenment we have will be based on the depth we have in God. This is so as to lay a foundation for the heights that we attain.
It is upon us to recalibrate our expanse of the perception of God that we have. This comes when we cling onto the revelation we have of Christ at personal level. Nobody can introduce God to you except God Himself because He is the Beginning.
In the beginning, God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:1 (AMPC)
