God’s Eternal Purpose – Part 2: Sermon By Apostle Gobanga

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord. 

Ephesians 3:8-11 (KJV)

Creation is an instrument for the accomplishment of God’s eternal purpose. The eternal purpose of God is above everything He created.

God lives in the fourth dimension (the secret place, the uncreated expanse).

God had a desire to fulfill His purpose but desired a perfect mate to share His glory in the uncreated dimension, not in heaven (which is created). This mate needed to be able to be without a beginning and an end like Him.

There was no such mate in the uncreated expanse therefore this perfect mate needed to come from Him just like Eve came from Adam. This mate needed to be seated in Christ (to exist in Him) and with Christ (for the administration of God’s purpose) in heavenly places.

The uncreated expanse is a place of perfect communication. There is no day or night in the uncreated expanse because of the brightness of God. This is the place from where the Church of Christ draws life.

God was in the uncreated expanse (the fourth dimension, secret place) when He created heaven and earth. God can never live in a created place.

God can never live in a created place (because He is uncreated) but He dwells in us because before the foundations of the world were set, we existed in Him.

In eternity, you are uncreated because you came from God.

God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. 

Genesis 1:26 (AMPC)

What you read in Genesis 1:26 was God setting you apart and creating your designation in the realm of time.

God projects Himself as we cannot behold His fullness and live. In the recorded instances in Scripture, God projected the image of Himself. No one has really seen Him. Jesus on earth was a projection of His divinity veiled in the form of human flesh.

There are certain truths of God hidden in eternity that we would be unable to understand unless He projects it in the third heaven. This was how Paul got to intimately know Christ yet he hadn’t seen Him or been with Him on earth. Paul would relate, fellowship and commune with Christ, receiving much wisdom, visions and a deeper understanding of Christ than the disciples or apostles did.

The fourth dimension is a dimension of corporate entity, not for individuals. No person or denomination has all of God. We know in part.

God had an eternal purpose (that which motivated Him to do what He did, what He does and what He will do) that He held in His heart before time began.

John 1:1 – The beginning of the Word is the first eternity without beginning. It is different from the beginning of Genesis 1:1.

In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.

In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth.

Genesis 1:1 is the beginning of time and space. It is different from John 1:1 which speaks of the first eternity without a beginning.

Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

John 17:24 (NKJV)

Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.

Ephesians 1:4 (NKJV)

He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you.

1 Peter 1:20 (NKJV)

These Scriptures speak about the time before the foundations of the world were laid.

Romans 16:25 refers to eternity past which is the eternity without a beginning.

Now to Him Who is able to strengthen you in the faith which is in accordance with my Gospel and the preaching of (concerning) Jesus Christ (the Messiah), according to the revelation (the unveiling) of the mystery of the plan of redemption which was kept in silence and secret for long ages.

Just like there is the first eternity, there is the second eternity which is the eternity without an end. The new heavens and earth speak about a new order and pattern.

Then I saw a new sky (heaven) and a new earth, for the former sky and the former earth had passed away (vanished), and there no longer existed any sea. 

Revelation 21:1 (KJV)

Those that will inherit the new heaven and earth are those with a renewed mind and heart.

I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

The connection between the first eternity and second eternity in heaven is not limited to time. It is Kairos. In eternity, everything has come to pass. There is no past or future. It is one perfect present.

God does not see in part. He sees the entire picture. To Him, the future already is because He has seen the end and His purpose will stand. Nothing takes God by surprise.

John 1:1 – Before the beginning, Jesus became the Word (His designation not name). He is Christ because of His assignment (what He will do).

The Name of the Father is the Name of Jesus. Everything that the Father is, Jesus is.

You are not who you are because of what you accomplish or don’t accomplish. This is what we learn when the devil tempted Jesus – Luke 4:1-13. Your name denotes identity.

The era of time began the moment God laid the foundations of the earth.

The first eternity existed before the foundation of the world was laid. There was God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

The second eternity exists after the end of time and has no end. In it, there is the Triune God and the Bride (believers from the Old Testament, today and in the future).

God has an eternal purpose, will and desire. This decision according to His good pleasure was purposed in Him to make known to us the mystery of His will.

This is in accordance with the terms of the eternal and timeless purpose which He has realized and carried into effect in [the person of] Christ Jesus our Lord.

Time has no business determining God’s purpose. God’s eternal purpose spans between the first eternity and the second eternity.

In the first eternity, God ordained His purpose and plan which is fulfilled and consummated in the second eternity. God’s purpose cannot be held hostage by time or in time and therefore, for any human being to be a part of God’s purpose, they must align to His purpose or else God will pass them by because purpose cannot be held hostage by anyone or anything. This is because God cannot be held hostage; because God is all in all.

God’s perfect will, which is His ordained will existing in eternity, is executed in heaven and manifests on earth without any hindrance. This execution is not limited to Chronos (realm of time) alone but also Kairos.

God’s permissive will originates from God’s foreknowledge. It is a based on His perfect will. His permissive will passes through the dimension of time and space, but will eventually end up in eternity. A good example is how God has factored in your mistakes or wrong choices. When you take the wrong path, God allows it, but even through it, God will use your errors to lead you to His perfect will for your life e.g. Jonah.

Permissive will cannot exist without the perfect will of God.

God gives man the freedom of choice. Grace means a second chance. The grace of God gives you the opportunity to make things right.

If you disobey God, He will still accomplish his purpose without you. You will have aborted purpose for yourself but not for God.

The first thing that God purposed before the foundations of the world was laid was to love the Son.

This was not premeditated but according to His spontaneous decree which is not modulated by time.

I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare] I have begotten You.

Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me [Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 

John 17:24 (AMPC)

This was the time when Jesus was anointed and modulated to become the Christ.

After the Father loved the Son, Jesus was ordained to be anointed as the Christ for the purpose of redeeming fallen man.

It is true that He was chosen and foreordained (destined and foreknown for it) before the foundation of the world, but He was brought out to public view (made manifest) in these last days (at the end of the times) for the sake of you. 

1 Peter 1:20 (AMPC)

God chose us in Christ and predestined us for sonship (to be adopted as sons). Sonship precedes creation or your salvation.

Sons are not created. Sons are made (because we live in the realm of time). You have to be saved, consecrated and matured into the fullness of sonship.

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV)

You are born a child but are given to the world as a son so that you can serve God. Until you discover your purpose, you have yet to be given as a son.

Sons understand dominion, assignment, calling and jurisdiction.

There can never be the manifestation of your sonship until there is a groaning in pain. This is why there might be shakings in your family, or shakings in the country.

The chaos is a stage set to manifest the true sons of God. They will come to provide solutions for the country and the Church.

The sons of God are not necessarily the clergy. They are a people who have no reputation, that they may decrease that Christ may increase. They arise to fulfill the will of God to impact their generation that the glory of God may abound, and after they are done, they do not run to the media to get publicity. They have no time for that. They retreat into presence of God to await further instruction.

There was no way that the people could claim that they had seen God, because you can’t. That’s why the disciples were confused when they went and saw a higher level of projection of Christ at the Mountain of Transfiguration. And still, that wasn’t Christ they saw and you can’t. “Jesus had to die. The physical death was setting Him free for the redolence of His presence to come. There was no way that Christ could be able to do all that was needed on earth while He was still here. But what He was referring to was the Church. Because the Church is comprised of the saints before, the saints now and the saints after. “Further connecting the dots on the mystery of marriage, I’m looking at Scripture the way it says husbands the way you relate with your wife is the way Christ relates to us as His Body and how He spends Himself washing the Church with His word to present her spotless to the Father for that eternal marriage. Revelation 21 when it comes down as Bride, it says the new Jerusalem coming down a bride adorned for her Husband. Drawing a parallel to divine marriages and we can now start to understand the opposition that all these divine marriages are going through. If it’s a type and a pattern of the perfect marriage, it will be opposed. And when I go to the early Church in the Book of Acts and I look at the pattern, the Church did not increase by multiplicity of buildings and structures, it actually says that they increased when they moved from house to house. Now when I extrapolate this for the strategy the Lord has given us as Infinite Fellowship Ministries, from February 2013, He said, homes, He said schools and then He says workplaces. What I am seeing from this opposition, this breaking, is an increase and a growth in spirit. There is a verse in Acts and it says, and the Church was laid on the foundation of purity and holiness. We all know, all these divine marriages the foundation has clearly been purity and holiness. And so the increase and the growth that is going to come and when we look and now start to understand the strategy that the Lord has given us; homes, schools, workplaces. Our strategy will not be crusades, our strategy will not be missions, and I am not saying those are bad, but what the Lord has ordained for us, when you now look at it, you start to see what the Lord has put in place, and this informs the pattern on which we are building INFEMI.” ~ Reverend Daniel Kamau
