God’s Eternal Purpose – Part 6: Sermon By Apostle Gobanga

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

The perfect man is a revelation.

There can never be perfection of expression of a person except that there is a revelation. Christ is also the Divine Man. Christ is an incarnating principle.

Jesus is the fulfillment in us of the original spiritual I AM or Spiritual Jehovah – the invisible God prefigured in the Old Testament as JEHOVAH – the Messiah.

He is a promissory declaration and manifestation of the I AM. The Angel of God in the burning bush of Moses is a theophanic revelation of Christ I AM that I AM.

There needs to be the consciousness of Christ and realizing that we are one with the Father.

Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

The birth of Jesus signifies the birthing of God’s idea of Man – the Christ of God.

In Genesis 1:26, the man referred to was spirit. In Genesis 2, we are introduced to God forming man from the soil of the earth.

Jesus was not born so that he can be a mere man but to be a representation of the idea that God had in mind when he created man and put him in Eden.

The man in Eden was perfected. When he fell, he lost his dimension and perspective. Jesus Christ is the walking living representation of the second Adam.

We are to worship Christ who is spirit. Christ was hidden in Jesus. Jesus was the physical man; son of Joseph and Mary.

Jesus means Jehovah saves. Christ means the Anointed One. His birth was by the enabling of the Holy Ghost. Christ is what distinguishes Jesus from Jesus Bar Jonah.

When we say we are born again in essence, Jesus is inside you and you begin to operate in another language of the Holy Ghost.

The birth of Christ is a beginning of the working of one’s spiritual faculties found in ones inner conscious that enables you to come to the full stature of Christ.

Saying in a loud voice, Deserving is the Lamb, Who was sacrificed, to receive all the power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and majesty (glory, splendor) and blessing!

The first advent of Christ signifies the dawning of the new mind and heart. This delivers us from spiritual ignorance.

There are things that happen in our lives because we are ignorant and not because of the Devil. The Devil flourishes when you do not know your rights. The Devil capitalizes on our confessions of defeat.

Those who are spiritual walk in the spirit. True sonship is spiritual and it shows in our fruit.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 

Galatians 5:25 (KJV)

Gifts are given and are irrevocable. For fruit to develop, it takes time to grow in the full stature of Christ. We are to be the personification of God’s idea in so far as purpose is concerned. The Christ in individuals is a portion of Christ that we each carry.

The Church has fallen short of sons more so in the Central Business District of Nairobi. Owners of buildings do not want to deal with churches as result of delays to pay rent. A son does not manifest anything short of Christ. When a man appropriates the word of truth, you become a partaker of that which will constitute your spiritual soul.

The idea of God in each of us is purpose. We must come to the place of recognizing:

1. Our sonship in God
2. Our origin
3. Our spiritual birth

Sonship is about your spiritual origin and function. Sonship is not about gender. Women need not be in competition with men but rather they just need to walk in their sonship.

Vision is the idea of God. It must be protected from the influence of Babylon. Whatever God has deposited in you in so far as vision is concerned, He wants you to administer.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

We need to recognize how we got born again. God wants us to connect with our real self; our identity in Jesus. The real self should be close to you than the natural physical world you are used to. The kingdom of God is in each of us. The word of faith is in our mouths.

Christ in us is the true light that guides every man who is of God. This light is in us and through us.

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.

We are the perfect mate to be united to Christ in the uncreated expanse; the fourth dimension. The Jesus we read in the Bible is the projection of Christ. There is a fullness of the God head that we are unable to behold with our physical eyes.

No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. 

John 1:18 (KJV)

There are certain things about God that can only be made manifest in the spirit. The Church needs to be united to experience the fullness of Christ.

The reason why the Holy Spirit was sent is so that there were witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the outermost parts of the world. The disciples were in one accord in the upper room received various diversities of the person of Christ; each one needed the other. It is this unity that causes the spirit to move. Each one of us is stirred up to good works. [Ephesians 4]

Revival is preceded by spiritual hunger. Revival is a spiritual transaction beyond laying of hands and pouring of oil. The Church is to become a witness of Jesus to the world.

The Church is the instrument God uses to restore order, healing and covering of the naked. The Church is meant to restore all things that God prophesied through the prophets. The Church, however, has failed to be relevant and has been chasing money and resources.

God will never do anything without a man; a vessel. However, God is not a respecter of persons but of principles. He looks for and works with people that are willing and obedient.

You need to connect with the dimension of Christ in you.

When you accept what God has spoken about you, the things that are meant for you will locate you.

Everything that is spoken about you has a corresponding grace.

We pray amiss because we have refused to accept who we are in God. Whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

They that walk in faith please God. We are to walk in the highest dimension of blessing. [Ephesians 1]
