God’s Eternal Purpose: Part 7 | INFEMI Sermon Series By Apostle Gobanga

God’s Eternal Purpose – Part 7: Sermon By Apostle Gobanga

Christ is the incarnating principle of the God man. He is the idea expressed by men as a result of their faith and understanding of the truth.

Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

John 14:6 (AMP)

God wants us to know that Christ Jesus is the idea that you and I are supposed to express. The truth of Christ we receive via revelation becomes the basis of our personification of Him. Jesus is the expression of the Father and because He is in us, we too should personify God.

For Christ to be in you, the hope of glory, the wisdom, knowledge and understanding you have received of Christ becomes the basis on which you place your hope.

Each one of us carries a dimension of Christ that makes us different from others. We are to be a personification of Christ. This is why we are one Body (of Christ) made of different parts.

Every one of us in the Body of Christ is integral. We each carry a dimension of Christ Jesus that needs to be expressed. But as long as your dimension is not connected to the truth of Christ, there can be no function or expression.

Christ is the one complete idea of the perfect man in the Divine mind. Your dimension in Christ is perfect because there is nothing that God ordains in you that is imperfect. It is what you do with it that may contain error.

The nature of Christ in you (the mystery of God) is perfect, complete and consummate and connected to your prototype in the 2nd heavens. There is a prototype of you (a perfect man) in the 2nd heaven that is devoid of imperfection.

Has God given you a revelation of the 2nd man who is your prototype? Do you know who you are in the spirit? So long as you are detached from your prototype, you cannot express Christ accordingly.

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago-whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows–was caught up to the third heaven. And I know that this man–whether in the body or away from the body I do not know, God knows- Was caught up into paradise, and he heard utterances beyond the power of man to put into words, which man is not permitted to utter. Of this same [man’s experiences] I will boast, but of myself (personally) I will not boast, except as regards my infirmities (my weaknesses). Should I desire to boast, I shall not be a witless braggart, for I shall be speaking the truth. But I abstain [from it] so that no one may form a higher estimate of me than [is justified by] what he sees in me or hears from me.

2 Corinthians 12:2-6 (AMP)

Paul was caught up in the 3rd heavens (where the perfected man is) when he said – I know of a man in Christ Jesus. He was talking about the perfected Paul, the prototype that God ordained him to be.

When God gives you an insight of who you are in the 2nd heavens, you will repent for months for walking in doubt and unbelief. Paul could not talk about it because he lacked the adequacy to talk about it in the realm we live in. They cannot be understood by those who are degenerate. They lack the capacity to handle it.

There are things that are too lofty for our human minds to understand. Yet, the Lord has afforded us grace to capture this revelation.

God is calling us to the place where we understand Christ as the mystery of God. He is calling us to a higher place of understanding where we can compare the spiritual and unspiritual. A place where we understand the wisdom of Christ.

Christ is the embodiment of all divine ideas. If you are going to carry out exploits for God, you must understand that there is a level of intelligence and ideas that are Divine. We must distinguish between human ideas and Divine ideas.

There is a level of intelligence God can give you about our country that goes beyond what the government knows. It is our portion as sons of God.

You must become a partaker of the divine intelligence of God.

In Him all the treasures of [divine] wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden.

Colossians 2:3 (AMP)

In God, there is divine intelligence, divine substance, divine love and life.

A masterpiece is the sum total of ideas that comes from the architect’s mind. Jesus is the masterpiece of the Father. Everything that constitutes Christ comes from the mind of God.

Christ is not an afterthought. He has always been in existence in the heart of God the Father. When we talk about Christ, we aren’t just referring to an individual. We are talking about a Body that includes you and me.

Christ is the Body, the Church, the distribution of His nature. As Jesus, He was limited in His physical nature. After resurrection, Christ was released and distributed among His people on the day of Pentecost. Each tongue of fire was a dimension of Christ distributed to each of His people.

But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.

Acts 1:8 (AMP)

That power was to cause them to be witnesses of Christ in the power of the spirit manifesting the supernatural dimensions of Christ and the kingdom that God spoke about while on earth.

There is a certain power that comes upon us through the Holy Spirit to enable us to manifest, demonstrate and express the supernatural dimensions of the Kingdom of God.

The Great Commission didn’t begin at the Mount of Olives. It began in Genesis 1:26-28.

God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.

Genesis 1:26-28 (AMP)

God commissioned man in Genesis to be fruitful and multiply and have dominion. It is man who digressed from this call through sin. In His coming, Jesus reactivated this call.

There is a difference between the man created in Genesis 1 & the man in Genesis 2. The man created in Genesis 1 was a spirit man. The man created in Genesis 2 was given a human body to have contact with the rest of the earth.

The man in Genesis 1 could access the presence of God 24/7. Eden was a portal that connected the heavens and the earth.

Adam (Genesis 1) was spirit and had the ability to access the spirit of God at all times. He did not need permission. He had an access to God that even angels didn’t. When the curtain was torn in two, man was restored to this position of access. Even in man’s fallen state, angels wonder about the status given to him by God.

There is a level of unlimited accessibility to God that man has that even the cherubims who guard the presence of God don’t have.

Man is more superior than angels.

What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him?Yet You have made him but a little lower than God [or heavenly beings], and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yes, and the beasts of the field, The birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatever passes along the paths of the seas.

Psalm 8:4-8 (AMP)

Angels don’t have bodies like we do. As human beings, we can access both the heavens and the earth thanks to our spirit man and physical man.

If you want to come to the place where you are walking in the revelation and mystery of Christ the hope of glory, don’t look externally but internally.

If you want to walk in the expression of the hidden things of God, you must look within yourself. Sonship is internal; the mystery of Christ that dwells in you is found in you not outside you.

You need to have a higher perception or consciousness of your sonship. Within you is the configuration of your origin, that which is inside of you. Within yourself is the realization of spiritual birth that begins on the inside then manifests on the outside.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMP)

Before the foundations of the earth were laid, God knew you. You existed in eternity with Him. There is something about you vested in eternity that you need to touch base with.

When God allows problems to come your way, He’s telling you that the dimension of Christ He has placed in you is sufficient and able to handle those problems. It is upon us to have faith in the expression of Christ in us.

God wants us to come to a place where our thoughts and language are elevated beyond our education. In the school of God, there is a level of knowledge you get that is beyond human intelligence and education.

The school of Christ admits everyone, even those rejected by the world. Just allow God to induct you by the Holy Spirit.

Christ in you the hope of glory is supposed to be a depiction of your higher self/dimension as a child of God. When you look within you, you should see this higher dimension and not dwell on your short comings which neither qualify nor disqualify you.

We must live for more than our past testimonies and achievements, however great they are.

There is a higher calling. The highest calling we have in God is to be a son of God. He wants you to grow to higher levels of being a son. We each have certain degrees and dimensions of being a son.

The epitome of sonship is relationship, fellowship and communion that is driven by purpose. There are things that God will not entrust to us unless we have matured in our relationship, fellowship and communion with Him.
