The Foundations Of The World: Sermon By Apostle Gobanga

And all the inhabitants of the earth will fall down in adoration and pay him homage, everyone whose name has not been recorded in the Book of Life of the Lamb that was slain [in sacrifice] from the foundation of the world. 

Revelation 13:8 (AMPC)

But [you were purchased] with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a [sacrificial] lamb without blemish or spot. It is true that He was chosen and foreordained (destined and foreknown for it) before the foundation of the world, but He was brought out to public view (made manifest) in these last days (at the end of the times) for the sake of you. 

1 Peter 1:19-20 (AMPC)

Eternity is not an extension of time.

Human beings are time conscious and our reality is time (past, present, future). Eternity is one perfect present.

Time is a parentheses and an interval of eternity.

There is nothing that is found in the universe of God that can trap you. You were born in the eternal self-awareness of God. This is why you are eternally free, not necessarily because of salvation. You are free because you are. It is in your nature to be free. You were not born a slave.

Prophetically speaking, the world is the defined ages and the prevailing conditions on earth be it past, present or future.

There is a difference between the earth and the world. The earth is a part of the present world but not the world.

Adam and Eve lived in a pristine world but below the surface, there’s evidence that proves that the world they lived in was not the first world.

In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. 

Genesis 1:1-2 (AMPC)

The world before was under the stewardship of Lucifer. He subjected the first world to the chaos and destruction shown in Genesis 1:1 because of his rebellion.

God destroyed the first world with darkness. Darkness is a prophetic symbolism of judgment. Where there’s light, there’s peace. Thereafter, He brought about the restoration of the earth.

The world was destroyed but not the earth.

Man was God’s answer to deal with Lucifer.

The foundations of the world consist of light, power and energy. The foundations of God are spiritual not physical or comprising mass or matter.

That which is spiritual is above.

Light denotes revelation, knowledge, understanding and wisdom. God does nothing outside of this.

Power denotes spiritual capacity that is of God. Anything that expresses power is supposed to denote the unlimited capacity of God.

Energy denotes innumerable spiritual resources.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing – life forevermore.

Psalm 133 (NKJV)

Spiritual foundations are built from up going down – Psalm 133. They start and are established from the source. In the spiritual realm, there is no force of gravity.

The event of Jesus being crucified on the Cross occurred in human history but the lamb of God was slain from the foundations of the world. It happened in eternity. It happened in time and in eternity.

The blood of Jesus denotes life. His life cannot be equated to physical blood. This is why the work of the Cross cannot be limited to the event in Calvary. It is an eternal ongoing event.

When people die in Christ, they move from the realm of time and space into the realm of timelessness. They enter into the present of God where everything is in one perfect present.

Learn to measure things in eternal units.

Everything that exists in the world today is because of the foundations that were laid by God.

Your foundation is your perfected man in the second heavens. This is why you can never be trapped. You were born free and not of flesh and blood.

But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name – Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!] 

John 1:12-13 (AMPC)

The Bible says that you are blessed with spiritual blessings in Christ so the foundation you are standing on is loaded with light, power and energy.

To them that believe, all things are possible.

The principle of the Cross will be applicable and continue on in the next world. It will not come to an end.

God created the earth for men. All He wants is to bring heaven on earth through us.

God’s desire is that the things that He started from creation will continue on and on.

Believe Me when I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the time is coming and is here now when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear it shall live. 

John 5:25 (AMPC)

Jesus is speaking both now and in futuristic terms. He is speaking in eternal lingo. Physical death is not a loss but a passing to another stage of existence.

God uses the language of symbolism to communicate spiritual mysteries to us.

John saw certain things in heaven in Revelation. Those things were communicated in a language of symbolism in a way that he could understand.

We need to relate with God from heaven coming down. From above, not from below.

The foundations of your life are above not below. The spiritual realm is not below.

Even the devil executes things and sets foundations in your life above in the second heavens before they manifest below on earth.

Foundations find expression in the minds of people. The devil implants deception in your mind. This is what he did with Adam and Eve through the serpent.

Hell is not below.

We need to stop thinking in a three dimensional manner. God is not three-dimensional.

God expresses Himself from where He is. This is why Jesus came from above to earth. Being born again is being born from above.

When God wants to change your life, He has to address your foundation. When the enemy wants to destroy your life, he touches your foundation.

To what level have you been able to be tap into the unlimited reservoir of wisdom and knowledge hidden in Christ?

Christ Jesus is not a human physical being. He is a Person – an unlimited spiritual being.

When you start thinking spiritually, you will walk unlimited in the sphere of your jurisdiction, call and identity.

You can never walk in the fullness of what God has in store for you unless you understand your foundation.
