The Season Of Divine Increase, Success & Prosperity: Sermon By Bishop Mulumbi

Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the Lord God. Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance. Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house.

Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king’s work, offered willingly, and gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron. Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the Lord: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

Wherefore David blessed the Lord before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, Lord God of Israel our father, for ever and ever. Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee. For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding. O Lord our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own. I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

It is divine because only God can cause success, increase and prosperity. It’s all about God, for Him and His glory.

You can never have what God doesn’t give you or sit where He doesn’t sit you.

Only God can cause your increase, success & prosperity. You can’t have unless He gives you. We need to depend on God, on what He’s able to do.

Create for God a spiritual atmosphere where God can rule and reign.

To live for God is a choice. There are so many opportunities for you not to.

The Church is being stopped from being who they are called to become because they are not giving their bodies as a living sacrifice.

You lose the spiritual atmosphere where God can rule and reign if you’re in the flesh – Judges 6.

When God plants you somewhere, you need to create a spiritual atmosphere where God can rule and reign so that no other power can rule over you.

The altar that is exalted is the altar that rules. Deal with the atmosphere that is ruling you because it will control what happens.

God is calling us back to the place of prayer. Your talents and gifts can be defiled by the person called you. Defiled talents and gifts can be used by the devil. You need to live in consecration to allow God to rule and reign over your gifts and talents.

David realized that to succeed as king, he had to create a spiritual atmosphere where the God that put him on the throne was ruling and reigning on his behalf.

It is not about you, it’s all about God. This is the only way to succeed.

Allow God to rule and reign. Your success isn’t tied to what you can do but by what God can do. Only He can cause your life to become something.

God does not position you or place you in a place for no reason. There’s a why. Find out from Him what He wants you to do where He placed you so you don’t lose your blessing.

There’s something concerning God that you must do where He places you. It’s all about Him.

David told Solomon that the palace was not for man but for God. it is for God’s glory.

Find out God’s mission. When you don’t understand God’s mission for where He places you, you will not be positioned for what God wants to do.

You are placed where God places you for God’s purpose.

There’s a reason why God has blessed you. It’s all for His glory.

When you become too familiar with the things of God, you lose your passion for God and your commitment dies.

Don’t become too familiar with the things of God.

The might of a man is everything God has given you, made you and where He’s sat you. You need to serve God with all your might.

Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.

To glorify God is not speaking words to Him. It is taking your crown, everything that you are, and saying to God, You have made me all that I am.

Knowing God is getting to a level where you glorify Him with all your might.

Set your affections toward the purpose, mission and agenda of God.

Your affection for God is a feeling that cannot be killed. It is a conviction that will cause you to serve God with commitment.

How is your affection for the things of God?

The Prophet Balaam got mad chasing after the promise. [Numbers 22]

God is looking for a people that serve Him willingly without a promise.

God is looking for a people that are driven to serve His purpose.

It’s not about you. It’s about the destines that are tied to you. God is building you for them.

Those that serve God willingly do so with joy.

Riches and honour comes from God.

Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

Everything we have done and given to God comes from Him. It is not about our effort. It all comes from Him.

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.

By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.

We did not make ourselves who we are. Realize all that you have plus yourself belongs to God. Use your position, possession, influence, talents and gifts to fulfil God’s purpose and God will secure you and no one will move you.

Align yourself to the purpose of God and God will secure you and rule over it all. He will command a blessing over all you do and no altar shall rule over you.

A time has come where we exalt our God so high that no other altar is able to speak.

Do all that you do as an act of devotion and honour to God.

Your power is in your submission to God. You cannot have dominion without submission.
