The Incandesce Of Sonship Via The Hub Of Process – Part 4: Sermon By Bishop Gobanga
Therefore I counsel you to purchase from Me gold refined and tested by fire, that you may be [truly] wealthy, and white clothes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nudity from being seen, and salve to put on your eyes, that you may see.
Revelation 3:18 (AMPC)
Sonship is the sequel and consequence of being transposed into the new quanta of Christ. It is a progression of being a son and continuous regeneration. We are being moved into new dimensions of Christ. It is the place of new growth in Christ. Sonship is normally preceded by magnitudes of growth. The glory of a child is to be a son.
There is a preceding magnitude of being a son. You are commuted into the fidelity of the principles of Christ.
The anointing that comes upon the eyes gives us the ability to see and perceive accurately. Many claim to have eyes but cannot see.
Then Jesus said, I came into this world for judgment [as a Separator, in order that there may be separation between those who believe on Me and those who reject Me], to make the sightless see and to make those who see become blind. Some Pharisees who were near, hearing this remark, said to Him, Are we also blind? Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin; but because you now claim to have sight, your sin remains. [If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but because you insist, We do see clearly, you are unable to escape your guilt.]
John 9:39-41 (AMPC)
We cannot take for granted what we have in God. It is dangerous to think we have arrived and are mature. We must grow so that we do not lose what we have gained in Christ. We serve a God of progression, moving from glory to glory.
We cannot move unless we see. God wants us to grow in Him. To be pliable, malleable and corrigible to be able to hold the new wine; to be a new wine skin that can take in the wine of Christ.
Neither is new wine put in old wineskins; for if it is, the skins burst and are torn in pieces, and the wine is spilled and the skins are ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.
Matthew 9:17 (AMPC)
Any time God introduced a move it caused division in the Church. Religion always opposed the move while for others the doctrine became a monument and the carriers of the move became objects of worship. When the Pentecostal move came, people became Pentecostals but later resisted the Apostolic reformation move of God and the subsequent Kingdom Age.
The move of God is to restore Himself to us and the move was to build on another. We are not to abandon the principles of the past one for the latest. Neither are we to camp around the move of God.
There are people who shun the move of God because there have been fakes. Before the authentic Apostolic and Prophetic, there is the fabulous fake Apostolic and Prophetic. The authentic Apostolic and Prophetic opened the Church Age and will close it to usher us into the Kingdom Age. This expression is meant for the Church Age and not the Kingdom Age and therefore we are not to make a monument of it.
We need to guard our hearts against the worship of spiritual gifts. The religious were once spiritual but camped and built a monument around it and became religious. We make idols out of all this because we are operating in the old wine-skins that cannot hold the new thing that God is doing.
The problem of Christianity is that we divided in that we are skewed into believing in certain aspects of God and we are too rigid to go further than what we have been taught.
Even for the Israelites, they had the temptation to camp but they were told to move by God.
We cannot cage God in our own doctrine. We cannot cage Him. That is why we are to be malleable to learn more about Him.
There are certain mysteries about the purpose of God that we are yet to decode. We need to be new wine skins in God and embrace a new way of thinking.
Every new level of God means there is a new level of submission and being abandoned to God. The Church needs to surrender to God. We are not meant to be submitted to doctrine but to Christ. This means being a fool for God despite the opinions of men.
For the story and message of the cross is sheer absurdity and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to perdition, but to us who are being saved it is the [manifestation of] the power of God.
1 Corinthians 1:18 (AMPC)
This means allowing ourselves to grow in tongues, the gifts of God and in relationship with Christ.
We cannot be taught to be submitted and abandoned to God.
Rigidity will hinder the move of God in your life and hinder your growth as a Son. When we submit we access the power of the cross. The move of God was for particular seasons to restore the ministry and truths that were lost during the dark ages.
We should be willing to go further than the revelation we have currently received.
The religious do not want to move from the move they have received. Be it Catholic, Anglican, Pentecostal or Baptist.
We are to submit to each other in accordance to the revelation that God has given to others. It is because God will not release all revelation to one person or one Church. God does not speak to only one person or Church. God also speaks through the congregation. We cannot exalt a person or Church above God.
Your progress in God is directly related to how you perceive of God. Your perception is equal to the depth of the work of the cross in your life. The work of the Cross is continuous. We must present ourselves at the altar of the Cross daily. Christ did it. Who are we not to?
There cannot be ascension or dominion without the Cross. Before Pentecost, there was Calvary. The deeper the work of the Cross, the more heightened your perception is. You cannot go where you cannot see.
Perceptions are what God wants to address in our lives.
They were told not to injure the herbage of the earth nor any green thing nor any tree, but only [to attack] such human beings as do not have the seal (mark) of God on their foreheads.
Revelation 9:4 (AMPC)
Also he compels all [alike], both small and great, both the rich and the poor, both free and slave, to be marked with an inscription [stamped] on their right hands or on their foreheads.
Revelation 13:16 (AMPC)
Then another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a mighty voice, Whoever pays homage to the beast and his statue and permits the [beast’s] stamp (mark, inscription) to be put on his forehead or on his hand.
Revelation 14:9 (AMPC)
Then I saw thrones, and sitting on them were those to whom authority to act as judges and to pass sentence was entrusted. Also I saw the souls of those who had been slain with axes [beheaded] for their witnessing to Jesus and [for preaching and testifying] for the Word of God, and who had refused to pay homage to the beast or his statue and had not accepted his mark or permitted it to be stamped on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived again and ruled with Christ (the Messiah) a thousand years.
Revelation 20:4 (AMPC)
They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.
Revelation 22:4 (AMPC)
All these Scriptures talk of a mark of perception in the lives of humanity. The mark of the beast is the mark of your perception. Your spiritual eye is on your forehead. God gave us that eye for your spirit man. This is what the enemy is targeting. The mark of the sons of God is on your forehead.
The sealing is the ability to hear the voice of God and see the Lord while that of the beast is the inability to see. The virtue of seeing should separate us from those who do not see. Seeing in the spirit includes dreams.
When we are able to see the enemy, we can defeat him. That is why the enemy messes up our perception.
Who is blind but My servant [Israel]? Or deaf like My messenger whom I send? Who is blind like the one who is at peace with Me [who has been admitted to covenant relationship with Me]? Yes, who is blind like the Lord’s servant? You have seen many things, but you do not observe or apprehend their true meaning. His ears are open, but he hears not! It was the Lord’s pleasure for His righteousness’ sake [in accordance with a steadfast and consistent purpose] to magnify instruction and revelation and glorify them.
Isaiah 42:19-21 (AMPC)
The war in the spirit is not physical but is in the realm of perception. We fight each other in church because of what we see or do not see.
God wants us to be sealed unto Himself to see where God is taking us. What we share should emanate from conviction. It should be an overflow of what we have experienced in Christ – as a result of one’s Holy of Holies deep transactions with God.
In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 1:13 (AMPC)
God is not looking for experience but those who are submitted to Him. The Church is not a corporate entity where there is the need of experience but a living organism.
We need to be careful how we handle people especially those who have a tainted past. There is no place in the Bible where we are allowed to judge people based on their past. We all have a past and no one’s past is better than the other. We are made equal in Christ and a new creation.
Do not operate in the old perception of yourself and do not be intimidated by people. We should also not look down on other people or intimidate them because we do not understand what God is doing. God redeems.
We should be careful how to handle the mistakes that people have made or make. God will not look at what you correct but how your heart is, the motive of your heart. Let us avoid the judgement of God by being blind to what God is doing in someone’s life.
We are not to look good with the crowd but to grow in relationship with God. There is a dimension we are being called to so as to conform to the likeness of God. To refuse the mark of the beast of ignorance to cloud our perception of God. He wants us to have a person relationship with the Lord and walk in the application of the revelation He ushers us into.
A time is coming where God will raise former criminals and prostitutes who will unite and form a congregation.
