The Infinitude Of Actuality In The Realm Of The Divide -Part 2: Sermon By Bishop Gobanga
The purpose of time is to accommodate the working of God’s prophetic purpose in this disposable universe.
In the backdrop of time, space and matter there can be no perfection. God did not make things to be perfect in the physical world. It is futile to look for perfection in time, space and matter. There will always be an error.
Perfection is found on the basis of what God has vested internally. Perfection has to do with God’s purpose not in the process we go through. Purpose is what makes everything perfect not the process. Perfection has nothing to do with a person’s character, it has all to do with God’s purpose.
What qualifies people as perfect is purpose. You need to be in the Spirit to capture that which is perfect.
For by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy.
Hebrews 10:14 (AMPC)
Perfection is not vested in a person’s character but in who they are in Christ. To discern someone’s perfection, we need to discern them in the Spirit.
And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it completely. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day.
Genesis 1:31 (AMPC)
All that God made He said it was good not because it was perfect on the outside, but because it was fit to serve the purpose that He had for it.
Process is there to ensure that purpose is not aborted. It deals with sin. Suffering is not there to make you perfect but to remove the limitation(s) that will hinder you from fulfilling purpose.
Jesus learnt obedience out of the things He suffered. Obedience brings out that nature of the perfected man in the second heavens that enables you to fulfill purpose.
God dwells in a certain sphere of eternity where His nature saturates perfection and timelessness. This sphere is a sphere of holiness. When God checks in, we refer to that place as ‘holy ground’. It becomes ‘holy ground’ because God has made it so. God cannot dwell outside of Himself. He can only dwell in an atmosphere saturated with Himself.
Outside of God there is imperfection. This means that when God comes into our lives we cannot transact with Him on our own terms but only on His.
There is a state of yourself that exists in God and we seek Him so that we can plug into this self. When you are in a relationship with God He enables you to know who you are in Him. He will reveal who you are in Himself. He is our all in all.
King David had a heart for the Lord and he pursued Him all his life. This enabled him to operate as a king, a priest and prophet. In God, the Lord used him to personify His Son Jesus Christ.
David was a man after God’s own heart yet he was a sinner. The difference between him and Saul was that he had a heart for God. David was very repentant unlike Saul.
We do not live and move in time space and matter but in God. As much as you exist in time and space, God did not intend for you to be dictated to by time and space. God wants us to dwell in Him and what we accomplish by His grace is perfect.
For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, For we are also His offspring.
Acts 17:28 (AMPC)
Man is not eternal except in the eternal purpose of God. Man’s existence manifested in time but was in God’s mind in eternity.
Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.
Jeremiah 1:5 (AMPC)
The moment Jeremiah existed in God’s mind he never stopped existing though he is dead.
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and He Who formed you from the womb: I am the Lord, Who made all things, Who alone stretched out the heavens, Who spread out the earth by Myself [who was with Me]?
Isaiah 44:24 (AMPC)
Upon You have I leaned and relied from birth; You are He Who took me from my mother’s womb and You have been my benefactor from that day. My praise is continually of You.
Psalm 71:6 (AMPC)
We are manifested in time to manifest what is concerned with time but God’s purpose is eternal and thus we continue to exist in God even after we are dead. They that died still had faith because its expression is beyond time and space.
Faith allows you to see beyond your accomplishments in time and into the future in the spirit. Abraham by faith knew that Canaan was a type and he started to look for the city whose builder and maker is God.
God is calling us to a realm of the supernatural captured in the mountain of fellowship.
There is a place of death to self that we are being called to so that Christ may manifest in us.
Sodom’s sins were pride, gluttony, and laziness, while the poor and needy suffered outside her door. She was proud and committed detestable sins, so I wiped her out, as you have seen.
Ezekiel 16:49-50 (NLT)
Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.
Ezekiel 16:49-50 (NIV)
External religious worship religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world.
James 1:27 (AMPC)
The foundation layers are not responsible for the building. If the builders do not build, the foundation layers are not to blame, they finished their work.
Whenever God brings things or people into your life, know that it is for a purpose. There is a portion of what God gives to you that is for you, and then there is that portion that is to minister to other people.
3/4 of the wealth that we have does not belong to us. It is to be given to the poor so that they can use it to attain to their destiny in the Lord. We need to use the wealth that we have to raise others up to be more wealthy than us. If we are not willing to raise people up to be better than us then we have failed. This applies in all that we do; in the gifts and talents that we have.
When you give you receive more and the 1/4 that remains will even be too much for you. In all that we have achieved we are to remain with 1/4 and if not, then we are stealing what is the Lord’s.
For example in marriage, there is the portion of a couple’s lives that they are to give. That is the portion that belongs to God. It is given by the Lord for touching other people’s lives. This is a type of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil that was in the Garden of Eden and it belongs to God. The tree was a 1/10th of the lives of Adam and Eve to God and they were not meant to partake of it and when they did they were destroyed.
When you are a man of faith, whatever God gives to you, you will have no problem giving it away.
If we are going to fulfill God’s purpose, there is a positional reality of allegiance to God that we are to tap into. We are to be positioned in the reality of God that we have. If there are things that are not coming to pass perhaps it is because we are in the wrong position in our hearts.
Following God is not just about following the Person of God but also following who you are in God. Jesus never lacked once He started His ministry because He lived in the reality of Who He is.
Jesus communed not just with God but also His perfected state in the spirit. He tapped into His own dimension in God.
But Jesus answered them, My Father has worked [even] until now, [He has never ceased working; He is still working] and I, too, must be at [divine] work. This made the Jews more determined than ever to kill Him [to do away with Him]; because He not only was breaking (weakening, violating) the Sabbath, but He actually was speaking of God as being [in a special sense] His own Father, making Himself equal [putting Himself on a level] with God. So Jesus answered them by saying, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the Son is able to do nothing of Himself (of His own accord); but He is able to do only what He sees the Father doing, for whatever the Father does is what the Son does in the same way [in His turn].
John 5:17-19 (AMPC)
Joshua was able to stop time because of purpose. We too can do the same. Maybe not physically but we can put a stop to things happening that are not in line with the purpose of God and put things in order before things begin to move again.
Every ethnic group has an altar that is demonic and when we think along tribal lines we are being held hostage by these demonic spirits.
Kenya is coming to a redefining moment despite of what the enemy is trying to do.
The nature of God to be able to remain unchanged is an integrity within Himself. The integrity of God demands that He cannot change. God can never, ever change because He is timeless and this is why He does not, cannot, transact with humanity on the basis on what is temporal/natural but always on/from the basis of His purpose.
The man that was blind & healed was for the glory of God and had nothing to do even with the sins of his parents. (John 9: 1-12 AMPC)
Sometimes, some levels of suffering are for the glory of God. There is an aspect of His glory that He is looking for in that situation. Some suffering is not from the devil. It is in suffering that you become a friend of God.
His glory can bring shame to your enemies.
The receptacle of time is God’s divine apparatus for the manifestation of His testimony. The testimonies of God refers to His accomplishment and they were enacted by His divine decrees in eternity.
We have been called to be the Lord’s witnesses.
You are My witnesses, says the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know Me, believe Me and remain steadfast to Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me.
Isaiah 43:10 (AMPC)
Do not brag in manifestations but in the supernatural. We are not to hold onto what God gives us but more to eternity.
Of this same [man’s experiences] I will boast, but of myself (personally) I will not boast, except as regards my infirmities (my weaknesses). Should I desire to boast, I shall not be a witless braggart, for I shall be speaking the truth. But I abstain [from it] so that no one may form a higher estimate of me than [is justified by] what he sees in me or hears from me. And to keep me from being puffed up and too much elated by the exceeding greatness (preeminence) of these revelations, there was given me a thorn (a splinter) in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, to rack and buffet and harass me, to keep me from being excessively exalted.
Three times I called upon the Lord and besought [Him] about this and begged that it might depart from me; But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!
2 Corinthians 12:5-9 (AMPC)
