The Precept Of Grace: Sermon By Minister Justin Kemboi

Yet now has [Christ, the Messiah] reconciled [you to God] in the body of His flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His [the Father’s] presence.

 Colossians 1:22 (AMPC)

A precept is a command.

Grace is divine virtue that enables man to relate with God and to effect His rule on earth. Grace is the unmerited work of favour in the life of man.

Dominion is a factor of walking with God. Whatever God speaks in the spirit is a call to partner with the Spirit of God.

Grace cannot operate outside the domain of truth. When you depart from the truth, you are breaking the hedge of grace and submitting yourself to the principle of deception.

When you submit to deception, you are under the manipulation of the enemy.

It’s foolish of a Christian to want to walk the walk of faith without the partnership of the Holy Spirit. To be presented before God as a blameless person involves us fulfilling our purposes.

Truth keeps us within the limits of grace. When you move from the limits of truth whatever happens to you is out of grace.

He who digs a pit [for others] will fall into it, and whoever breaks through a fence or a [stone] wall, a serpent will bite him. 

Ecclesiastes 10:8 (AMPC)

The battlefront has always been in our mind. Every weapon that has been fashioned against you is coming for the rulership of your mind. The battle of the mind is one that is continual. Process is meant to bring your mind to the place of submission to the power of God. Constraints as well as the place of abundance test and break a man that has not submitted to truth. Abundance is the place of comfort that is ripe for apostasy.

Whenever you try to tune your mind to the things happening around you instead of what God is saying you are subjecting yourself to deception.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it [perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind]? 

Jeremiah 17:9 (AMPC)

For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [In as much as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).  

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (AMPC)

The heart of man has an ability to manipulate the mind to fulfill its desires. Sin is an idea first before manifested in the physical. You need to submit all your members to God to conquer sin.Once your mind has been freed, your life has been freed.

God wants us to reconcile to Him as a whole.

Everything you do should be modulated by the truth God has ministered to you.

God never desired that there be a separation between Church and state or that which is secular and that which is Christian. There is no delineation.

In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness HAS NEVER overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].

John 1:1-5 (AMPC)

You get judged by the truth you have received. To guard the truth that God has given you, you need to submit yourself to God. To wage war in the spirit, you need to be in the place of submission to God.

We are meant to investigate and interact with truth to be empowered to minister it to the coming generations.

Deception is the doorway for the demonic to start manifesting in our lives. We are meant to pass a legacy that’s beyond material things.

For you to guard the truth God has given you, you need to submit yourself to God. The words God speaks to us should find a place of applicability in our lives.

You cannot resist the devil while you are still submitting to the principles that work in his kingdom. Falling into temptation is a slow fade. It’s a place where ideas are replaced in your mind.

You cannot walk in sin and still resist the devil. The solution to the struggles we have is to consistently walk in the truth of God we have received.

Unless you apply truth in your life, it will never be effective in your life.

Grace is the only thing that can sustain you while you are in process.Grace speaks of something that has been made beautiful in the fullness of time. Outside of unity is confusion. God is more interested in us being one.

A mindset is a set of foundational ideas. You cannot kill an idea but you can replace it. The way to sort out your life is to replace the deceptive ideas with truth.

What are the ideas and attitudes of the world that are shaping you today?

The duration between hearing and the manifestation of the word depends on how submitted we are to His Kingdom.

Witchcraft is when one tries to manipulate everything to fit their standards and ideals. Grace can’t operate outside the domain of truth. Grace will minister to you how to separate yourself from any form of imperfection.

Truth is supposed to work in your life under the canopy of grace. For truth to work in your life there needs to be an environment that is created.

Grace is the supernatural ability for one to appropriate truth.
