Established In The Supernatural: Sermon By Bishop Mulumbi

Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. For by [faith— trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report. By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.

Hebrews 11:1-3 (AMPC)

Can the church (the believers) walk again in the supernatural?

For this to happen, there is a call from God to go back to having faith in the invisible God and supernatural faith that brings divine confirmation.

God is Spirit. He is everywhere at every time.

He introduces people to Himself by His voice. Every man that God called was introduced to Him by His voice e.g. Abraham, Moses.

Faith comes by hearing the voice of God not by reading the Scriptures. But when you read Scripture and God speaks, it spurs faith in you.

God had to introduce Himself by His voice so they may believe in who He is. Who He is what matters, not the circumstances they found themselves in.

We need to have faith in God so we can walk by faith and His voice.

For us to walk in the supernatural we need to walk by faith in the voice of the invisible God. We must be planted in faith in the true God.

Unless the Lord starts to speak to you, you cannot have faith. Faith is humanity’s responsibility to submit their faculties – will and intellect – to the God who has revealed Himself by His voice. This is the beginning of faith.

That which is written must become the voice of God, and that which you hear will add to your faith.

A time has come for people to walk by faith and the voice to restore the supernatural in the church of God.

What you’re going through can never change who God is. Who God is changes all things.

Faith is right now because what God can do tomorrow, He can do now. It is not a tomorrow thing but present day thing.

God addresses issues not on the basis of how they look but on the basis of who He is.

Substance is something solid. It is material.

Faith is the material to create what you want and need. It causes realities to come to pass.

God is a man of faith. He forms within His spirit before He speaks. He calls things that are not as though they are. God does not operate by sight but by cogitations of His person. He consults His will.

God has already done everything.

Faith is the access. It is the heavenly currency. You only need to know how to release your faith.

Faith in man causes him to access the things he has cogitated. When you have faith – it is a currency that causes you to purchase that which you have hoped for.

Hope is convictional anticipation and expectation from the God who has something for him.

Faith is the evidence and proof.

But there is [a vital force] a spirit [of intelligence] in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives men understanding.

Job 32:8 (AMPC)

He that has faith shall have divine confirmation of every single things he believes.

The church is a place to live by faith.

To trust is to depend on. If you can depend on the ability of God, you can do what God can do. We need to get to place of completely trusting in the Lord.

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.

 Proverbs 3:5-6 (MSG)

By faith we understand. This is because we hear Him and know Him and have an understanding that no one can shake.

God framed and formed the world intentionally and purposely. Where there is framing there is calculations. Before you frame something, you have to visualize it. You can never frame something when you have never visualized it.

Faith is embracing before manifestation. When you get an understanding, you begin to frame your future. Our work is to embrace, God’s work is to manifest it. You need to intentionally plan it.

Speak in faith. Confessing is agreeing with what God has said.

Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote, I have believed, and therefore have I spoken. We too believe, and therefore we speak.

2 Corinthians 4:13 (AMP)

If you agree and admit it, it is done.

Acquaint now yourself with Him [agree with God and show yourself to be conformed to His will] and be at peace; by that [you shall prosper and great] good shall come to you.

Job 22:21 (AMPC)

You can never reach or become who you have not embraced. It’s one thing for God to tell you you have something but it’s another thing for you to believe.

Learn how to speak how God speaks.

We lost the supernatural because we lost the eyes to see and ears to hear. We need to hear God and not question. God is a miracle working God.

Kings and priests in the marketplace are there to reveal Christ in the marketplace. These things are not for you but for revealing Christ.

You can only prophesy and walk in miracles and signs and wonders through your faith.

What you see will conform to what you embrace.

Our faith is more real than what you see. It is the work of God to manifest. Nothing is impossible with those who believe. God wants to do something new in your life.

[For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be.

Romans 4:18 (AMPC)

Abraham did not consider his old age nor the barrenness of Sarah. He believed in God and hoped against hope! What you consider is what becomes a reality. Our God is able. The question is – do you believe that God is able to do the thing you desire or the thing you are asking? Everything you will believe God to do for you He will do for you.

Prayer is not shouting but putting on the table the things that you are believing in Him to do. God is glorified when He answers our prayers.

Faith is the only thing that will work for you. Your faith will transform your life.

Faith in God is expressed by believers by obedience. Abraham lived in a time when there was no scroll to read – he was successful because he believed in God. He had no prophet or pastor.

The prophetic is able to give a word of counsel to not only diagnose the past but the present and issue wisdom for the future.

Faith causes us to look unto the Lord and not man.

Abraham sacrificed Isaac (Genesis 22). The Scriptures may appear to say otherwise but ask yourself – why did angel stop Abraham from something that is not already done?

God knows when we have already obeyed. He looks at our heart position.

He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.

Jim Elliot

Faith is risky. It calls for our hearts to be set aright.

Where your treasure is, there your heart is. You cannot serve God if you do not serve Him with your treasure. This will inoculate your heart from the influences of the world.

For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself].

1 John 2:16 (AMPC)

Finish 2017 by faith and by the voice. This is the source of our faith.
