The Secret Place Of The Most High (Part 3) – The Treasures Of Darkness & The Wealth Of Secret Places (Part 1): Sermon By Bishop Gobanga

Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I form the light, and create darkness. I make peace, and create evil. I the Lord do all these things. I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight. I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron.

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name. I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me. I girded thee, though thou hast not known me. That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.

Isaiah 45:1-7 (KJV)

The Holy Spirit is the only Person who possesses the multifaceted and never ending mysteries of the Kingdom of God and only He can reveal them to them that have been deemed worthy. You and I have the mandate to be in constant partnership with the Holy Spirit.

Children can never hear the deep things of God. Only sons – those that are matured – can be entrusted with the secrets of God. God is more concerned with your faithfulness that the knowledge that you acquire.

God reveals things to them that He has considered worthy.

God reveals things to them that are considered unqualified according to the standards of the world. If you are knowledgeable in your own sight, you’ll miss out on the move of God.

God can never give you things unless He first gives you Himself. If you cannot handle the Person of God, then you cannot be entrusted with stuff.

God is about to release the treasures that are hidden in the dark, secret places and not everyone can access and handle these things.

When we refer to the treasures of dark places and the hidden wealth of the secret places we are not talking about the physical but something that is invisible because it has been hidden from the carnal man.

Whatever is manifest is invested with a hidden reality. Man tends to pursue the manifested rather than what is hidden within that which has been manifested.

Whatsoever is manifested is simply a visible story of what is antecedent. Whatever you see in the physical is simply a visible part of the story of the antecedent.

When you pursue things in the natural without the understanding of what they represent in the spirit, then you are pursuing these things amiss. God did not give us these things so that we pursue them, but so that we use them to serve Him.

Every natural element in natural realm represents a hidden characteristic of God.

When you miss out on the purpose of God, you are missing out on the hidden treasures of God.

Until we understand the wisdom of God pertaining the elements of creation, we shall continue to miss out on the purpose of God and the wealth of hidden treasures in the secret places.

It is important to understand what the manifested represents. For example, it is important to understand what the presence of God means, what it represents, what it is about.

The yellow colour of gold is simply a manifestation, it is not the real thing. Gold was not originally yellow. It is white. White that is glowing with fire.

Diamond was a deep black that glows with fire.

Every mineral that exists on the earth is a degenerated version of God’s initial intent and not the original ones that existed at the point of creation.

Each time that Adam would fellowship with God, there is a certain aspect of God that would rub off on Adam and he would glow even more luminously than before.

God wants your eyes to be open to the unseen.

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

Isaiah 45:3 (KJV)

God wants the sons of the Kingdom to have access to the minerals that are yet to be discovered. But before then, He wants them to be endowed with the necessary knowledge, wisdom, and understanding so that once they access them, they will see beyond their physical and access their reality in the spirit and use them not to worship themselves but to worship God.

When the Bible tells us that God is enshrouded in darkness, it means that God is calling us into deeper realms in Him.

The treasures of heaven can only be accessed when you detach yourself from the public view. To enter into the secret places you have to separate yourself. If you cannot separate yourself, there can be no entering into the secret places with God.

When you obey God’s prophetic instruction, it’ll lead you into the secret place.

God wants us to bring us to the place where we detach ourselves from public view. This is because God does not reveal His secret things in public places. For example, during the 3 hours of darkness as Jesus hang on the Cross, it is when the transaction for the freeing of humanity happened.

God created the heavens and the earth in darkness and then after He was done He commanded the light out of Himself to shine.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Genesis 1:1-3 (KJV)

Just because the treasures have been hidden in darkness does not mean that they are dark treasures.

The treasures of the Kingdom of Babylon were locked up in the darkness of Babylon and it was King Cyrus of Persia that God gave the mandate to access those treasures.

The secret places of Jesus Christ where His treasures are hidden are people, both believers and non-believers, and some are institutions.

The hidden secret places are not very far. They are very much around but because of spiritual blindness, man continues to miss out on the hidden treasures of darkness.

There are certain people that carry the treasure that you are looking for. They are referred to as prophetic accompaniments. You just need to open your spiritual eyes.

God wants to expose what has been hidden for so long for us, for us to be able to enjoy. But if you are carnal you cannot be able to see them. You must be spiritual.

The treasures of darkness are simply opportunities. God wants the Church to provide solutions not only for itself, or for the present age, but also for the generations to come.

God wants us to come to the place where we understand that before we access the treasures that are hidden in the dark places, we must have a revelation from Him. You cannot move from one level to the next without revelation.

When the Bible talks about treasure, this is not in singular terms. It refers to an infinite, inexhaustible amount of treasure in the secret place. This is wealth that you cannot equate to what we are currently mining from the crust of the earth.

God wants us to understand that some of the things that we have considered normal are not just normal. Some of the things that we encounter in the earth have uses that would lead to supernatural solutions.

When we come to the place where we embrace the truth of God as revealed in His Word, it’ll cause us to walk in the reality of the treasures that are hidden in the secret places.

Some treasures of the Kingdom we cannot walk in, until we are walking in and exercising the rudiments of the Christian faith. For example, walking in the resurrected power of Christ. The sad thing is that most Christians take these rudiments teachings for granted.

When you embrace the reality of the invisible/the supernatural, you shall be able to enjoy the benefits of the natural.

God wants us to come to the place where we realise that one of the most precious treasures that He wants us to access that will cause us to live well in our natural and spiritual lives is love.

Love has been misconstrued to mean many things other than what it is exactly. Love is not just an expression but also a wisdom from God.

God wants you to come to the place whereby even where things are tough, you are able to see opportunities and pursue them by faith, but this must be predicated by obedience to every word that He speaks.

There are certain treasures that are hidden in people. All that matters is how you interact with them.
