Bringing Back The Glory | INFEMI Sermon By Prophet Eliakim Osewe

Bringing Back The Glory: Sermon By Prophet Eliakim Osewe

Again David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, 30,000. And [he] arose and went with all the people who were with him to Baale-judah [Kiriath-jearim] to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord of hosts, Who sits enthroned above the cherubim. And they set the ark of God upon a new cart and brought it [a]out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab, drove the new cart. And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill, with the ark of God; and Ahio went before the ark.

And David and all the house of Israel played before the Lord with all their might, with songs, lyres, harps, tambourines, castanets, and cymbals. And when they came to Nacon’s threshing floor, Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled and shook it. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for touching the ark, and he died there by the ark of God. David was grieved and offended because the Lord had broken forth upon Uzzah, and that place is called Perez-uzzah [the breaking forth upon Uzzah] to this day.

2 Samuel 6:1-8 (AMPC)

And David danced before the Lord with all his might, clad in a linen ephod [a priest’s upper garment]. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. As the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter [David’s wife], looked out of the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, and she despised him in her heart. They brought in the ark of the Lord and set it in its place inside the tent which David had pitched for it, and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord.

2 Samuel 6:14-17 (AMPC)

There is a political, economical and religious shaking upon the earth.

The Lord was judging the Philistines for stealing the Ark from the Israelites. This is why they returned it to Obed Edom. But David realized it needed to be restored to its original place.

The Ark of the Covenant is symbolic of the glory of God.

Dimensions Of The Kingdom

Jesus said that the truth you know shall set you free. The truth will give you access to things the mind cannot give you access to.

God gave Moses a pattern and order for the Tabernacle. He was taking a portion of heaven and showing Moses how to bring heaven on earth.

The Tabernacle:

  1. The Brazen Altar – sacrifice
  2. Brazen Laver – for water of washing
  3. Golden Candle Stick
  4. Table of Shew Bread
  5. Holy of Holies
  6. Mercy Seat – had the Ark of the Covenant

You have to move from the sanctuary (dimensions of the gifts) to the dimension of the Ark of the Covenant/Holy of Holies.

Many in the Church desire to receive of the prophetic ministry and hear what God is saying of them, but few know what to do to make it come to pass.

The Church does not understand the office of the Prophet. This is due to lack of fathering into it. The church needs to be taught on how to steward a word until it comes to fruition. Obedience is requisite for this. Obedience is a heart posture that causes us to touch God.

There is a progressive entry into the Kingdom. You have to enter and progress.

Above all, as you enter the Kingdom, the Kingdom has to enter you. You have to learn why you are in the Kingdom and what God has called you to do.

And they carried the ark of God on a new cart and brought it out of the house of Abinadab, and Uzza and Ahio [his brother] drove the cart. And David and all Israel merrily celebrated before God with all their might, with songs and lyres and harps and tambourines and cymbals and trumpets. And when they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzza put out his hand to steady the ark, for the oxen [that were drawing the cart] stumbled and were restive. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzza, and He smote him because he touched the ark; and there he died before God.

 1 Chronicles 13:7-10 (AMPC)

When the prophetic word comes, when God releases a word, there will be 3 things:

1. Confrontation

That word will be confronted. Things will happen contrary to that word. The word will be fought.

2. Transformation

God begins to build your capacity. He begins to deal with your inner man before you can handle what He has said.

The lion and the bear introduced David to the prophetic anointing. For the kingly anointing, God used Samuel to anoint him but it was Saul He used to deal with David.

There are times when adversity introduces you to your level. Sometimes God will position an enemy so He can prepare a table for you before them.

God is after your soul and spirit man.

3. Occupation

This is where you occupy that which God ordained for you.

It is a risky affair handling the glory of God.

And Moses said, I beseech You, show me Your glory. And God said, I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim My name, The Lord, before you; for I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy and loving-kindness on whom I will show mercy and loving-kindness. But, He said, You cannot see My face, for no man shall see Me and live. And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place beside Me, and you shall stand upon the rock, And while My glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by. Then I will take away My hand and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.

Exodus 33:18-23 (AMPC)

If you are ready to see God’s face and God’s glory, you should be ready to die.

The back of God is the dimension of time (Exodus 33).

The rock is the dimension of revelation.

Glory is the investment of God and the goal of life.

God has given worshippers the ability to bring heaven down. When people worship God, Jesus is there.

The realm of eternity moves at a speed that is faster than the speed of light. This means that it ceases to be matter.

God has deposited in us the gift of tongues. The gift of tongues makes you move faster than the speed of light.

If you want to move in the next dimension, embrace revelation.

The Church is built on the revelation of who He is (Christ).

If the Church is to access glory, we have to access the dimension of who He is.

God is restoring the doctrine of the resurrection of the dead in the Church.

In the dimension of glory you do not need faith or anointing because God is there. When the glory comes, you have access to everything you need.

Creation is groaning for the manifestation of sons. The Church needs to arise.

INFEMI is a game changer in the country. We will need a stadium for the next level.

And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God].

Daniel 11:32 (AMPC)

After the shaking, God reveals His glory.

The economy of heaven is not determined by the economies of man.

I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: Christ left us the glory.

John 17:22 (AMPC)

Christ left us the glory.

Salvation is a process. God deposits a part of Himself in you. Sanctification is making you become like Him. After sanctification is when glorification comes in.

For because you bore it not [as God directed] at the first, the Lord our God broke forth upon us—because we did not seek Him in the way He ordained. So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel. The Levites carried the ark of God on their shoulders with the poles, as Moses commanded by the word of the Lord.

1 Chronicles 15:13-15 (AMPC)

David understood the power of sanctification.

The brazen laver was a bowl of water. The priest has to cleanse himself. You do not enter to serve or do the work of God without you being sanctified. It is after sanctification that the priest would serve.

You can access the gifts of the Holy Spirit in one day but sanctification is a process. Sanctification gives you access into heaven’s accounts.

I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit. You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you]. Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.]

Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned. If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

 John 15:1-7 (AMPC)

Pruning is the process of sanctification.

For the Church to access the realm of glory, there has to be a change of mind.

Uzzah was familiar with the Ark. That is why he handled it casually. We can become so familiar with the grace and anointing that we miss out.

David sanctified the priesthood.

Familiarity cannot thrive in the context of God’s glory. We need not be familiar with the grace and the anointing such that we miss out on God’s glory.

The Gospel is based on revelation. Daniel was not eaten by lions; he had a glory. Fire could not consume Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego for they had God amongst them.

The same God of Daniel, the same God of Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego, is the same God of today.

God always creates a situation for revelation – to reveal Himself. It is man that gives God a name based on a revelation they have of Him. Church is built based on the revelation of who He is.

Unless we move into the realm of revelation, we shall never see His glory.

The Kingdom of God is built on keys. There are keys of the Kingdom.

There are dimensions of revelations that you access by certain keys. One is the key of sanctification. This is how we are transformed from glory to glory.

Sanctification in the Old Testament was salt.

Every cereal offering you shall season with salt [symbol of preservation]; neither shall you allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your cereal offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.

Leviticus 2:13 (AMPC)

For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

 Mark 9:49-50 (AKJV)

Ought ye not to know that the Lord God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt? Yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat, the servant of Solomon the son of David, is risen up, and hath rebelled against his lord. And there are gathered unto him vain men, the children of Belial, and have strengthened themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and tenderhearted, and could not withstand them.

2 Chronicles 13:5-7 (AKJV)

On the Table of Shew Bread, it was only the priest that was allowed to put salt on the bread. A covenant of salt: “With all your offerings you shall offer salt.” In the Book of Numbers, God’s covenant with the Aaronic priesthood is said to be a covenant of salt. In the 2nd book of Chronicles, God’s covenant with the Davidic kings of Israel is also described as a covenant of salt. We are to be salted with fire.

There is a certain dimension God is taking the Church, where if you don’t carry the dimension of salt, you will be found lacking.

Covenant is an exchange of nature whereby if anyone does anything to you, they have done it to God.

Salt is personal holiness.

We have access to the treasures of heaven. Personal holiness is the key to unlock the supernatural.

You have the ability to multiply resources and access the treasures of heaven. The dimension of salt makes you move in victory.

How do we break forth from the dimension of gifts to the dimension of glory?

God allows a certain dimension of glory that He may reveal Himself.

Some frustrations God allows in your life to move your eyes from man back to God.

How do you see Jesus? What face do you see Him with?
