Dimensions Of Spiritual Reality (Part 1): Sermon By Rev. Richard Muendo

There is a journey of stewardship every believer has to take over the quality of their Christian life.

We are saved by grace.

For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).

2 Peter 1:3 (AMP)

What power does is that it moves, shifts, activates, equips and enables.

As a result of our salvation through grace, we have been equipped with the capacity to access His glory and excellence, which is the stewardship demanded of us.

The quality of your life and Christian walk is not subject to exterior influences or anything outside of your control.

We can be too slow for the move of God when we are not in step with His Spirit.

And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it.

Genesis 2:15 (AMP)

Much like the reality of the Garden of Eden, our lives have been ordained from the end by God.

God continually creates an enabling environment, like Eden, that is a reality in the spirit to enable us to manifest what God has given as our place of dominion.

Out of the abundance of our hearts, our mouths speak.

We all need to arise to the level of stewardship God requires of us.

God will never call you to give an account of something you have not been granted.

But as to the suitable times and the precise seasons and dates, brethren, you have no necessity for anything being written to you. For you yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the [return of the] Lord will come [as unexpectedly and suddenly] as a thief in the night. When people are saying, All is well and secure, and, There is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction (ruin and death) will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape. But you are not in [given up to the power of] darkness, brethren, for that day to overtake you by surprise like a thief.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-4 (AMP)

We need to be conscious of the time and season we are in.

The highest place of attack is the place of transition. It is easy to abort what you are about to access.

These are some of the places that we are to steward over:

1. Spiritual Transcendence

If then you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.

Colossians 3:1-2 (AMP)

Knowing your configuration will enable you to access what God has for you.

From the abundance of what God has configured in you is how you will steward what is given to you.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

Colossians 1:15 (NKJV)

There is a dimension of spiritual reality from where all things were created.

God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).

John 4:24 (AMP)

God defines reality from His essence.

Your comprehension in yourself is founded on your comprehension of God.

Truth is the highest form of reality. We need to move from a self-based reality to a faith-based and truth-based reality.

Spiritual transcendence synchronizes you to the move of God. This keeps you relevant season in and season out.

In many separate revelations [each of which set forth a portion of the Truth] and in different ways God spoke of old to [our] forefathers in and by the prophets, [But] in the last of these days He has spoken to us in [the person of a] Son, Whom He appointed Heir and lawful Owner of all things, also by and through Whom He created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time [He made, produced, built, operated, and arranged them in order].

He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high

Hebrews 1:-3 (AMP)

Faith frames things in your mind as a reality on earth. If you desire glory, all you need to do is frame it and pray yourself into it.

Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. For by [faith-trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report.

Hebrews 11:1-2 (AMP)

Spiritual transcendence creates an atmosphere for the action of faith.

It’s very easy to be a spiritually carnal individual.

Being born by faith is not just positional but an everyday experiential thing.

There are some promises in your life that will never come to pass through prayer but by a mental shift – perceiving what you cannot see or experience through your natural senses.

We need to access truth as the definition of our perception.

We need to interact with the progressive revelation of Christ we have already received. This will cause you to be transformed from within.

You cannot access something you have not framed as a reality in your heart.

We need to be broken so as to be built up. The Spirit of God reconfigures our weakness to shine God’s glory.

But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP)

Religion steals, kills and destroys any access you were to have of your abundant life in Christ.

If you will not be fulfilled whether God fulfills His promise or not, then you will idolize His promise.

When you are like the wind (able to move in step with the Spirit and the move of God), you will break barriers of earthly limitation.

I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].

Philippians 4:13 (AMP)

God’s glory testifies for itself. Ours is to only move in step with His Spirit. This is true rest.
