Dimensions Of Spiritual Reality: Part 2 | INFEMI Sermon By Rev. Richard Muendo

Dimensions Of Spiritual Reality (Part 2): Sermon By Rev. Richard Muendo

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.

John 4:24 (ESV)

God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).

John 4:24 (AMPC)

Spiritual reality is a mode of existence that entails a constant response to the Most High God.

The level of truth one gets exposed to defines their reality.

How exactly should we steward our spiritual walk?

Every truth that you access within the spiritual realm must be used for the purpose that God meant it.

Wrong perception is based on a limited level of truth that one has access to. For example, Saul persecuted the Church based on the level of truth that he had at that time. Revelation is key. Saul then had an encounter with God that converted him.

Conversion is an access to Truth – the Person of Jesus Christ. #SELAH

The spirit of this age is actively informing minds of people with untruths. It hinders perception of Truth (Christ).

The spirit of this age erects a veil within the mind of every person causing them not to perceive the light of Christ.

For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (AMPC)

The light released from the face of Christ is meant to shift your perception. It is possible for two people to be exposed to the same truth but to access different realities depending on the state of their perception.

It is how we steward the truth that we have received that leads us to new levels of truth. This is as a result of stewardship.

Every believer will be tasked by God on the basis of the reality that they perceived.

The Gospel is not supposed to sway us based on words but on revelation of the Son of God.

Truth is the foundation on which we build and grow. It is on this truth that we are grounded in love.

For this reason [seeing the greatness of this plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name]. May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].

May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, that you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it]; [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses [c]mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] [d]unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

Ephesians 3:14-19 (AMPC)

We can only access that which we have framed in our minds.

The dimension of reality in God is not informed by our circumstances.

Growth is a mystery that is perceived in limitation but actuated in the realm of perfection.

Abundant life is in God. Abundant life is the synchronisation of a believer’s life with the move of God.

Our pursuit of God, making Him and His Kingdom our priority, causes all things to be added to us.

Do we await the manifestation of a certain promise to receive it? Our satisfaction should be in God, and then the manifestation for His glory.

Weary not yourself to be rich; cease from your own [human] wisdom.

Proverbs 23:4 (AMPC)

But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.

Matthew 6:33 (AMPC)

For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we do not belong either to the night or to darkness. Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect). For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night. But we belong to the day; therefore, let us be sober and put on the breastplate (corslet) of faith and love and for a helmet the hope of salvation.

For God has not appointed us to [incur His] wrath [He did not select us to condemn us], but [that we might] obtain [His] salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who died for us so that whether we are still alive or are dead [at Christ’s appearing], we might live together with Him and share His life. Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing.

Now also we beseech you, brethren, get to know those who labor among you [recognize them for what they are, acknowledge and appreciate and respect them all]—your leaders who are over you in the Lord and those who warn and kindly reprove and exhort you. And hold them in very high and most affectionate esteem in [intelligent and sympathetic] appreciation of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. And we earnestly beseech you, brethren, admonish (warn and seriously advise) those who are out of line [the loafers, the disorderly, and the unruly]; encourage the timid and fainthearted, help and give your support to the weak souls, [and] be very patient with everybody [always keeping your temper]. See that none of you repays another with evil for evil, but always aim to show kindness and seek to do good to one another and to everybody.

1 Thessalonians 5:5-15 (AMPC)

Christ is the only man to exist perfectly within two states – the spirit and the flesh. He was Son of God and son of man.

Sonship is the state of rest. It is maturity that causes one to access the realm of the spirit.

Abraham separated from Lot and went to a place that was less fertile. He had access in God that caused him to prosper more than Lot because he was a carrier of the promise.

Jacob was in rest within God. He was able to steward himself in Laban’s house and prosper more than his uncle.

God touched Jacob to reveal a truth in God – he was transformed into Israel.

Sonship is the access to rest.

A child is raised and equipped to gain access to tools requisite for the expression of his configuration.

A son understands that submission and accountability is second nature. c.f. John 17. Jesus directed everything to the Father.

A son is expresses unsupervised dominion. A son does not need supervision because he is submitted to God.

Are you still being nurtured to access the tools you need? To express your dominion?

A son can build a nation with one word of wisdom. Children often like constant direction.

A son is attuned to the voice of the Father.  #SELAH

Sons take gates and impact nations.

In the parable of 5 talents, they were able to multiply to the extent they were able to frame by faith.

Judgment of the servant with the one talent was severe because he was unable to discern that he could build a nation with his talent. Look at the reward from Christ. Cities. #SELAH

Children wait for things to happen. A son is at rest for it has already happened. Enter rest in sonship.

Comfort in abundance is the key to losing the word of God. Deuteronomy 8 captures this.

We need to pray and guard against apathy not only for ourselves but for the generations to come. This is the realm of stewardship that we have been called to.

Supervised dominion is for a child. Rules are for children. Initiative is the realm of sons.  #SELAH

The most basic multiplication is by 2. The servant with one talent needed to dig a depth for the word to grow; he needed to tap into something outside of himself. He missed the opportunity to express his sonship.

The wisdom of the spirit of this age shuns divine wisdom because it requires work and they that wait for wisdom mask their inaction in waiting.

A son knows that they need to understand the nature of their father as a fundamental requirement to launch out. Without it, he will be a crumbled, blessed man at his place of his manifestation.

As you relate with a father, you are relating with the nature they carry. Relationship is expensive. Actions are cheap.

Relationships are depths that need to be dug.

King David invested in legacy by not building the temple. He knew that Solomon would do it. He knew that he would carry his nature.

A child sees submission and accountability as a shameful exercise that constantly communicates to the father their incapacity. A son perceives submission and accountability as constant tapping of the nature of the Father to bear fruit.

Sons have failed more than bastards. True sons have failed more than elder brothers. The defining element is the heart position – a malleable heart.

If you conceal shame through pride, you fail to tap into power by accountability.

Handling shame and responding to fear as sons in the context of accountability is what cuts it.

Blindness to a child is disability but to a son it is a divine design for the glory of God to be made perfect.

If you cannot see your promise, it was not meant to glorify man but God.

Rest is an access that does not need manifestation. Childishness requires manifestation.

A son is satisfied in God. They believed even if they did not/do not see the promise.

And all of these, though they won divine approval by [means of] their faith, did not receive the fulfillment of what was promised.

Hebrews 11:39 (AMPC)

As we transition into the place of glory, we need to know that glory is entrusted to sons. It is a state of being that constantly manifests. It does not need supervision.

If you give glory to a child they will never be at rest. Glory for a son is a pristine state of being.  It is a reflection of what they have with the Father.

How you steward your place of access will determine the place of your manifestation. Properly create the state of manifestation.

A son is alert and cautious not only from external influences but internal challenges.

Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect).

1 Thessalonians 5:6 (AMPC)

A son is aware of the people they are sent to per time per season.

Jesus was aware of His assignment. He lived circumspectively, soberly and prayerfully. He knew that which was beneficial and that which was not beneficial.

But Jesus answered them, My Father has worked [even] until now, [He has never ceased working; He is still working] and I, too, must be at [divine] work.

John 5:17 (AMPC)

But we belong to the day; therefore, let us be sober and put on the breastplate (corslet) of faith and love and for a helmet the hope of salvation.

1 Thessalonians 5:8 (AMPC)

There are certain mindsets that we cannot espouse because of the kind of destiny we are called to. This is allows us to wage war against certain mindsets.

Prophetic words were not to draw nutrients from the fallen mind but a regenerated mind – the mind of Christ.

A son interacts with the word of the season and aligns accordingly. He hides the word of God in his heart so that he cannot sin against God.

There is a level of living only by the word of God cuts it. Not effort. Not qualifications.

A son lives in the second heaven.

Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be what is already permitted in heaven. Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven. For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I Am in the midst of them.

Matthew 18:18-20 (AMPC)

New mercy every morning – it is the context of suffering breaking the carnal man to bring forth the Spirit man in the second heaven.

Blessing is not something we pray for, it is a state of being so that we can become. It is our responsibility to hedge it keep it and tend it. #SELAH

We cannot steward that which we have not yet grasped in God. #SELAH

Warfare requires rest not just activity – things outside the designation of your purpose.

Put a guard on your heart and subsequently your mouth with all diligence.

Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.

Proverbs 4:23 (AMPC)

Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.

Psalm 141:3 (AMPC)

Be at peace amongst yourselves. #SELAH

1 Thessalonians 5:11-13 (AMPC)

Peace is a key in our fellowship.

God has manifested each day for the manifestation of His glory through the blessings that He has conferred on us.

Each day has its demand allocated to us as well as a daily response to God.

Blessed be the Lord, Who bears our burdens and carries us day by day, even the God Who is our salvation! Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

Psalm 68:19 (AMPC)

Addendum by Bishop Gobanga:

Purpose is not a religion but the requirement of God.

Purpose is voluminous and as multifarious as eternity, because it is the consummate antecedent of the Divine.

Purpose is eternal and can only be subject to the immutable and the pre-eminence of the Most High.

God exists because of purpose. He exists because He is the purpose of His existence; out of the fullness of Who He is that He is, everything that He created, exists to function as an impetus of divine purpose.

Purpose is the antecedence that actuates the cradling and the augmentation of reality in consonance with eternal wisdom.

When you understand purpose, the Bible will not be hard to understand. Prayer is a daily activity.

A servant lacks functional capacity to bear fruit. Only a son can function to the capacity of fruitfulness.

A servant specializes in the expedience of errands void of focus, expecting people to applaud his or her carnal labors! A son taps into divine grace void of fleshly labor and only seeks divine affirmation.

A servant has no inherent essentials of rights to exercise, due to his/her debased heart position. A son is implicitly vested with divine software to program his/her essential rights to expression of personal capacity towards bearing forth fruitfulness. A servant is limited to his/her self-perception while a son is defined by his/her inexplicable prowess derived from the Divine revelation of his/her essence.
