Kingdom Patterns To Glory: Sermon By Rev. Daniel Kamau

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 45

The glory of a fish is to swim. The glory of a bird is to fly.

The Kingdom of God has a glory.

Kingdom patterns are ancient paths, eternal paths.

Thus says the Lord, “Stand by the roads and look; ask for the ancient paths, Where the good way is; then walk in it, And you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it!’”

Jeremiah 6:16 (AMP)

There is a place when you start to walk in God where you enter rest. There is a place you enter rest in God when you ascertain those ancient, eternal paths.

God is calling us to a place of rest. One wages warfare amiss because they have not discovered the ancient paths.

Kingdom patterns are the patterns that Enoch walked in until he was no more. God took him to Himself. Enoch walked in perfect alignment with the ways of God.

Successful transitions are predicated upon proper application and access of Kingdom patterns.

Anything God initiates has a divine pattern. It is our business to inquire of the Lord to establish what these patterns are.

‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’

Jeremiah 33:3 (AMP)

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

Proverbs 25:2 (AMP)

King David had to seek out the ordained divine knowledge of moving the Ark of the Covenant back into Israel.

Divine patterns are embedded in divine ordinations from eternity that have righteous requirements that must be fulfilled.

When you follow the righteous requirements according to your divine configuration, you access power.

Ancient paths are divine ordinations from eternity.

David was afraid of God that day, and he said, “How can I bring the ark of God home with me?” So David did not bring the ark with him to the City of David, but took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite. So the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house three months; and the Lord blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that he had.

1 Chronicles 13:12-14 (AMP)

By divine configuration Obed-edom was a Levite.

And with them their relatives of the second rank: Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, and Mikneiah, Obed-edom, and Jeiel, the gatekeepers.

1 Chronicles 15:18 (AMP)

Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer the priests blew the trumpets before the ark of God. Obed-edom and Jehiah (Jeiel) were also gatekeepers for the ark.

 1 Chronicles 15:24 (AMP)

In the place of your limitation, in the season of your constriction, therein lies your breakthrough.

What Obed-edom experienced was supposed to be a thing that Israel was supposed to experience. There are breakthroughs that are being experienced at the family-level altars that we are supposed to be experiencing as a church.

When you obey what God tells you concerning ministry, family or career, you will gain capacity and be in God’s right order and ancient path for you.

The more God increases you the more He gives you capacity to serve.

You cannot attain glory in wrong order.

Obedience is applying the divine patterns of the Lord for your life.

King David instituted and walked in the right paths and he enjoyed honour from the 7 nations that God spoke of in the days of Moses.

King David also dedicated these to the Lord [setting them apart for sacred use], with the silver and the gold which he brought from all the nations: from Edom, Moab, the Ammonites, the Philistines, and from Amalek.

1 Chronicles 18:11 (AMP)

Obedience is key in applying the patterns of the Lord.

Joshua got up early in the morning; then he and all the children of Israel set out from Shittim and came to the Jordan, and they spent the night there before they crossed [the river]. And it happened at the end of three days that the officers went throughout the camp, and they commanded the people, “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God being carried by the Levitical priests, then you shall set out from where you are and follow it. However, there shall be a distance between you and it of about 2,000 cubits (3,000 ft.) by measurement. Do not come near it, so that you may [be able to see the ark and] know the way you are to go, for you have not passed this way before.” Then Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves [for His purpose], for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders (miracles) among you.”

Joshua 3:1-5 (AMP)

Everything that God is speaking to us, we’ve never been that way before. You cannot depend on past graces in the new places, new paths.

After this it came to pass that David attacked the Philistines, subdued them, and took Gath and its towns from the hand of the Philistines.

1 Chronicles 18:1 (NKJV)

David took the city of Gath, having followed divine patterns. Before we access the breakthroughs that God has spoken of, we must obey the divine patterns God has given us. We must esteem the presence of God.

God does not comprise on divine patterns. He places emphasis on right order.

Transition is God-ordained and God-sustained. When it’s hard in the process of transition and you tarry in the Lord and trust Him, He releases relief – a way out. He releases peace.

We must esteem divine patterns.

Repentance is accessing the heart and mind of God.

Surrender to process and embrace the ancient paths. God will show you the way to go.
