INFEMI SOE 2018 (Day 3) – Foundations: INFEMI Sermon By Prophet Eliakim Osewe
Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
The least one shall become a thousand [a clan], and the small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its [appointed] time.
Isaiah 60: 1-3, 22 (AMPC)
The people who sat (dwelt enveloped) in darkness have seen a great Light, and for those who sat in the land and shadow of death Light has dawned.
Matthew 4:16 (AMPC)
When Jesus received the message, He said, This sickness is not to end in death; but [on the contrary] it is to honor God and to promote His glory, that the Son of God may be glorified through (by) it.
John 11:4 (AMPC)
It’s possible to live in the shadows of who you are supposed to be. One of the reasons could be that you might be living in a region of captivity.
In the story of the woman who had a spirit of infirmity that Jesus healed in the temple, she had been captured by the spirit that was not visible with the human eye.
Your spirit radiates light – the light of God. When your spirit is in darkness, your body is in darkness.
When your soul is captured, your destiny has been captured.
If the foundations are destroyed, what can the [unyieldingly] righteous do, or what has He [the Righteous One] wrought or accomplished?
Psalm 11:3 (AMPC)
There are types of foundations. They include marital, prophetic, faulty and spiritual foundations.
Prophetic foundations – these are words that have been spoken in and over your life. By parents, teachers, spiritual authority, etc.
It’s possible for a child in the womb to face rejection because they are spirit and they can hear what is being spoken over them.
Words are important. They are spirit and life. Words never die.
Negative words spoken must be broken and dealt with.
Foundations are made up of altars, sacrifices and gates.
If the foundations are faulty, the enemy has legal grounds to capture you and put you in a prison.
Bring my life out of prison, that I may confess, praise, and give thanks to Your name; the righteous will surround me and crown themselves because of me, for You will deal bountifully with me.
Psalm 142:7 (AMPC)
There are prisons that the enemy can put people in. They include the prisons of death, poverty, barrenness, near success syndrome, infirmity and rejection.
Anybody in a region of captivity can not radiate the glory of God. You can have the desire and hunger but because of the foundations you cannot radiate God’s glory.
The enemy has legal grounds to capture souls because of faulty foundations. He accuses the foundations before God.
Your soul can be measured and has a weight. Your soul consists of your mind, emotions and will.
[Remember your Creator earnestly now] before the silver cord [of life] is snapped apart, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher is broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern [and the whole circulatory system of the blood ceases to function].
Ecclesiastes 12:6 (AMPC)
What connects your soul to your body is the invisible silver cord.
Prosperity begins from the soul.
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.
3 John 2 (AMPC)
When we die, our soul is clothed with the cloth of eternity.
For you to arise and shine, you need to deal with faulty foundations. For you to access glory, you need revelation.
Simon, Simon (Peter), listen! Satan has asked excessively that [all of] you be given up to him [out of the power and keeping of God], that he might sift [all of] you like grain, but I have prayed especially for you [Peter], that your [own] faith may not fail; and when you yourself have turned again, strengthen and establish your brethren.
Luke 22:31-32 (AMPC)
Jesus was telling Peter that Satan had asked for permission to capture him. Jesus had not denied Satan permission. But Jesus told Peter that when he returns he ought to strengthen the brethren.
The enemy might not capture the whole of your soul. Instead, he will fragment it and enter through the door that you will open. Something as simple as a lie is a door the enemy can use.
David asked God to keep him from presumptuous sins. These are sins that we do thinking God has not seen or heard.
We are like a bird escaped from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped!
Psalm 124:7 (AMPC)
This Scripture implies that the enemy is able to capture your soul through a snare. The snares can be trauma, disobedience, pain, bitterness, etc.
A captured soul cannot manifest the glory of God.
God will push you into a wilderness to deal with the captivity of your soul especially if you do not have the revelation and understanding that you are captured.
Abortion of purpose, near success syndrome, etc can be a sign of captivity in the spirit.
If you are operating below certain levels of God’s standards, you might need to ask if you are in the region of captivity.
The enemy can use dreams to capture your soul. Not all dreams are just dreams. Some of them are spiritual transactions.
Another parable He set forth before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while he was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed also darnel (weeds resembling wheat) among the wheat, and went on his way. So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the darnel (weeds) appeared also. And the servants of the owner came to him and said, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have darnel shoots in it?
Matthew 13:24-27 (AMPC)
God has sowed seeds of destiny in the spirit man. The tares represent spiritual blocks planted by the enemy in your journey of achieving purpose.
His disciples asked Him, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should be born blind? Jesus answered, It was not that this man or his parents sinned, but he was born blind in order that the workings of God should be manifested (displayed and illustrated) in him.
John 9:2-3 (AMPC)
The agenda of God is to reveal His works through His creation.
If you can be a solution to a problem, you will be in great demand all over the world. For the world to come to you for solutions, the glory of God must have been made manifest in your life.
Light refers to the revelation of the word of God.
For the glory that is to be revealed, we need to walk in sanctification, in the salt of consecration, and to break the regions of captivity in our lives.
The destiny you carry is anchored on the foundations in your life. Faulty foundations will cause destiny to be aborted.
