The Season Of Divine Establishment, Success & Prosperity: Sermon By Bishop Mulumbi
Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all peoples. For great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; He also is to be [reverently] feared above all so-called gods. For all the gods of the people are [lifeless] idols, but the Lord made the heavens.
Honor and majesty are [found] in His presence; strength and joy are [found] in His sanctuary. Ascribe to the Lord, you families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength, Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name. Bring an offering and come before Him; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness and in holy array. Tremble and reverently fear before Him, all the earth’s peoples; the world also shall be established, so it cannot be moved.
1 Chronicles 16:24-30 (AMPC)
We are coming into a season of divine establishment, success and prosperity. It is divine because only God can establish and cause prosperity. If God does not make you, you cannot become. If you are not positioned by God you will never be positioned.
God does not do all things because He is powerful, but because He has a purpose.
All things are by God, for God and for His glory. When God created human beings, He was thinking of His purpose. Life is about who God is.
We are made in His image.
All power is of God and belongs to God. All power belongs to God.
Gifts we have can become evil when we use them for self-gratification and for our glory. When they are dedicated unto God they remain pure. If we keep the gifts pure, they will bring God glory.
The calling and anointing we carry belongs to God. It is not for ourselves but for the people God has called us to. The anointing of God cannot help us until God brings the people that need it to us.
You have to be accountable for the anointing you have in your life.
The great responsibility of the Church is to create an atmosphere where God will rule and reign. Then God will command His blessing and success. When God rules, we do not have to worry about the enemy.
David was not concerned about the throne but about who sat him on the throne. He did not qualify to be a king but as a worshipper in the eyes of God he became qualified. His heart was a heart after God.
David started working for the restoration of the Ark of the Covenant in Jerusalem. David never lost any territory. He instead took more territory for God. He knew how to succeed in the place God had put him.
David knew that it was not about the might of his army but the power of God and the election of God to be King. The greatness we have is bestowed upon us by the Lord. David knew that it was not about him but God.
You will never go unless the Lord takes you. You will never become anything unless the Lord makes you something. It is about the God who gave it to you.
In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. It shall be health to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to your bones.
Honor the Lord with your capital and sufficiency [from righteous labors] and with the firstfruits of all your income; so shall your storage places be filled with plenty, and your vats shall be overflowing with new wine.
Proverbs 3:6-10 (AMPC)
God gave you every gift by Himself and it must be for Him. A man has nothing unless it is given to him.
John answered, A man can receive nothing [he can claim nothing, he can [take unto himself nothing] except as it has been granted to him from heaven. [A man must be content to receive the gift which is given him from heaven; there is no other source.]
John 3:27 (AMPC)
Being favored by God means being endorsed by God in the places you do not qualify to be in. It is not about your experience or skill set. The favour of God comes upon they whose hearts are pure.
I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong, neither is bread to the wise nor riches to men of intelligence and understanding nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.
Ecclesiastes 9:11 (AMPC)
For all the gods of the nations are [lifeless] idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Honor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.
Psalms 96:5-6 (AMPC)
Honour and glory are found in God’s presence. You cannot get honour unless God allows you to have honour. When God honours you, He causes you to rule over things. When God glorifies you, He causes things to answer to you.
We bring honour and glory to God by laying our crowns at the feet of the Lord.
God is the One who creates the next level of glory. He is the One who opens doors and shuts them. You can only give what you have. If you want to go to the next level, you need to submit your current level of glory.
False prophets do not come for themselves but to reveal the attitudes of the people. Every time the Israelites could not handle truth they were ruled by a false prophet. If you cannot handle truth you will be exposed to lies. This is why the Lord allowed false prophets in the midst of Israel. Falsehood connects to falsehood.
Serving God is not in vain. We are to dedicate what we have to the service of God.
There are things that God gives you for Himself and not for other things. This is consecration. The things of God are to be handled by consecrated people.
Ascribe to the Lord, O sons of the mighty, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Give to the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness or in holy array.
Psalm 29:1-2 (AMPC)
Every honour in your life is bestowed by God. We need to come back to honouring God.
As He went on His way to Jerusalem, it occurred that [Jesus] was passing [along the border] between Samaria and Galilee. And as He was going into one village, He was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance. And they raised up their voices and called, Jesus, Master, take pity and have mercy on us! And when He saw them, He said to them, Go [at once] and show yourselves to the priests. And as they went, they were cured and made clean.
Luke 17:11-14 (AMPC)
The healing of the 10 lepers was in their obedience to the word of instruction. It was painful to walk and forbidden to go see the priest when one was leprous. They walked in pain until there was healing.
When God calls you to the next level, there is a level of pain or discomfort. He will cause you to do something that your flesh will not want to do. If you cannot walk in your pain then you cannot break into the next level.
The prophetic word causes there to be a re-alignment.
For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12 (AMPC)
Justification and grace has to bear fruit. What you submit to will transform you. God’s counsel cannot transform you unless you submit to it.
I decked you also with ornaments and I put bracelets on your wrists and a chain on your neck. And I put a ring on your nostril and earrings in your ears and a beautiful crown upon your head! Thus you were decked with gold and silver, and your raiment was of fine linen and silk and embroidered cloth; you ate fine flour and honey and oil. And you were exceedingly beautiful and you prospered into royal estate. And your renown went forth among the nations for your beauty, for it was perfect through My majesty and splendor which I had put upon you, says the Lord God. But you trusted in and relied on your own beauty and were unfaithful to God and played the harlot [in idolatry] because of your renown, and you poured out your fornications upon anyone who passed by [as you worshiped the idols of every nation which prevailed over you] and your beauty was his.
Ezekiel 16:11-15 (AMPC)
The problem with saints is that they love the blessing more than the Blesser. This is the reason why people leave the service of God when they are blessed by God.
We should worship God rather than worship what God has made us to be.
Everyone is seeking for the hand of God as opposed to seeking the heart and mind of God that transforms us into the image of God on the face of the earth. The mind of God will transform you to His purpose and mission.
The blessing and gift God gives is a facilitation for His purpose and intent. They are to facilitate you in serving the purpose of God.
The one leper who went back to give thanks was not only healed but made whole.
I planted, Apollos watered, but God [all the while] was making it grow and [He] gave the increase. So neither he who plants is anything nor he who waters, but [only] God Who makes it grow and become greater. He who plants and he who waters are equal (one in aim, of the same importance and esteem), yet each shall receive his own reward (wages), according to his own labor. For we are fellow workmen (joint promoters, laborers together) with and for God; you are God’s garden and vineyard and field under cultivation, [you are] God’s building.
1 Corinthians 3:6-9 (AMPC)
God is the source not what He has given us. It is the Lord who gives increase.
Then He told them a parable, saying, The land of a rich man was fertile and yielded plentifully. And he considered and debated within himself, What shall I do? I have no place [in which] to gather together my harvest. And he said, I will do this: I will pull down my storehouses and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain or produce and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many good things laid up, [enough] for many years. Take your ease; eat, drink, and enjoy yourself merrily. But God said to him, You fool! This very night they [the messengers of God] will demand your soul of you; and all the things that you have prepared, whose will they be?
Luke 12:16-20 (AMPC)
A fool is someone who does not regard God in all of his affairs. His life is all about himself. We become fools when we see what God has given as the source.
What possesses you controls you.
Everything that God makes you or gives you that does not make you humble, builds pride in you. It eventually controls you and destroys your destiny. When it comes to the Gate of Media, some saints are sending themselves then they get consumed when they get there because they are not sent. When you are sent by the right grace you are covered and no harm comes upon you.
Every honour that God bestows upon your life will always bring profits in your life. You should honour God with the honour He bestowed on us plus the profits.
Revelation is something you draw from God. He writes it on your heart because it has nothing to do with you but with God. Let us end the year end with humility in relation to who God is.
