The Sons Of Manifestation (Part 3): Sermon By Bishop Gobanga
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!
The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God. And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!
For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]. For the creation (nature) was subjected to frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it—[yet] with the hope that nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children.
Romans 8:14-21 (AMPC)
He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high, [Taking a place and rank by which] He Himself became as much superior to angels as the glorious Name (title) which He has inherited is different from and more excellent than theirs.
Hebrews 1:3-4 (AMPC)
Christ is the lens through which we can see and project who God is.
God sees us the way He made us and we have an obligation to see ourselves the way that God made us. God believes in you because you have potential despite your struggles.
When Adam was created, he was a spirit being. Adam functioned as a human on the efficacy of his spiritual being. This is the same for as sons of manifestation. Our native element is in the spirit. This is what enables us to function as living beings and gives us the capacity to govern.
When Adam sinned, he became a human being and lost his status as a living being. His life in the Spirit ceased as sin separated him from the source of life who is God. Adam and Eve experienced death which means that they lost their capacity to function.
Jesus came in human form but He had the nature of God. He was conceived by the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit. We have the opportunity in Christ to become living beings.
Those who fulfill purpose are living beings. We have the opportunity to become spirit beings in Christ and grow to maturity to the fullness and stature of Christ.
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.
Ephesians 4:13 (KJV)
God dwells in the realm of our spirit being to reveal to us the scroll of our destiny, which in turn ignites purpose in us. Intimacy with God leads us to the place of manifestation via transfiguration. This transfiguration process transforms us to be living beings.
Our souls and bodies becomes the temple of the Holy Spirit serving as an interface between God and the world around us. God wants us to manifest His works through us.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Galatians 5:25 (KJV)
Transformation is not behavioural change but change to manifest as sons of light. This enables us to tap into our spiritual DNA that God set in us that gives us identity.
Asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He replied to them by saying, The kingdom of God does not come with signs to be observed or with visible display, nor will people say, Look! Here [it is]! or, See, [it is] there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you].
Luke 17:20-21 (AMPC)
The above Scripture shows us that God wants to come and make His home in us.
Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being. And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden [delight]; and there He put the man whom He had formed (framed, constituted). And out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight or to be desired—good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life also in the center of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of [the difference between] good and evil and blessing and calamity. Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four [river] heads.
Genesis 2:7-10 (AMPC)
You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the carnelian, topaz, jasper, chrysolite, beryl, onyx, sapphire, carbuncle, and emerald; and your settings and your sockets and engravings were wrought in gold. On the day that you were created they were prepared.
Ezekiel 28:13 (AMPC)
There was intercourse between heaven and earth. Heaven was not separated from earth like it is now.
There were two gardens, the Garden of God and the Garden on earth. The Garden on earth was connected to the Garden in heaven.
The Garden of God preceded the Garden of Eden. The Garden of heaven was where God had fellowship with man.
These two gardens were connected by the River of God.
Mercy and loving-kindness and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
Psalm 85:10 (AMPC)
The Tree of Life existed in the Garden of God. The Garden of Eden was made for man so that man may dwell in it. It was a projection of what was in the spirit.
Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was in the Garden of man. The Tree of Life existed in the Garden of God. When the eyes of Adam and Eve were opened after eating the fruit, they were cut off from heavenly access. They heard God but could not meet with Him.
When you lose your position in the heavens, you lose it on earth. We fail to manifest because we are not correctly positioned.
But whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up (flowing, bubbling) [continually] within him unto (into, for) eternal life.
John 4:14 (AMPC)
We become God’s garden that is connected to the Garden of God when we become saved. The rivers from your belly go to water your jurisdiction and domain in order to bring revelation and restoration of God’s rule.
It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be [firmly] established as the highest of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow to it.
Isaiah 2:2 (AMPC)
A mountain is a place of Kingdom authority. Many waters also denote many people – nations.
We are to live in creative light not created light.
We will never attain sonship if we are linked to our fathers and mothers because these are earthly distinctions. We need to touch base with Kingdom distinctions devoid of human traditions that limit our priestly considerations as sons of manifestation.
And stretching out His hand toward [not only the twelve disciples but all] His adherents, He said, Here are My mother and My brothers. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother!
Matthew 12:49-50 (AMPC)
Nothing in Christ’s sonship was automatic. He had to earn it through obedience. Christ did not use His divinity to get things the easy way.
Although He was a Son, He learned [active, special] obedience through what He suffered.
Hebrews 5:8 (AMPC)
Manifestation of sonship is through suffering by obedience.
A true son will reveal his father. They live to serve and do the will of the Father for His glory and praise. They are dead to self.
God chastises sons not children. A true son allows God to chastise them.
For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.
Hebrews 12:6 (AMPC)
It is through faith that we relinquish things that make us men. David had the power to kill Saul. But because Saul was anointed he opted not to kill him and risked relinquishing his title as kin.
Sons let go of certain ways of doing things because it would not glorify God.
