The Prophetic Induction Of Man Created In His Element Of Purpose – Season 2 (Part 1): Sermon By Bishop Gobanga

God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.

So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.

Genesis 1:26-28 (AMPC)

The purpose of God denotes His accomplishments enacted by His divine decree in Eternity.

God’s purpose was actualised by His decree in eternity.

The purpose of God is established in eternity, marshalled by His omniscience and authenticated by His omnipotence.

God’s perception of things, both invisible and visible, are equivalent to their actual existence.

Time and season is transititory presence. Eternity is abiding presence. It doesn’t end or change. Eternity carries an idea of intensity of depth not the extent of length.

Time actuated from the ordinance of destiny through the contemporary of the past, present and future.

Time is a factor of eternity. It can never be equivalent to eternity.

Time begins from the future into the present through the past.

God uses time as a tool to manifest what He has established.

Eternity is perpetual. God’s eternity is not considered in terms of quantity but quality. Quality is immeasurable, quantity is measurable.

God is concerned about the quality of life you are living, not the length of time you live. We will give an account to God of how we lived our lives.

God’s word is the revelation of the continuum of His heart and mind.

God’s purpose is the inspiration of His person. He derives inspiration from His purpose.

God speaks because He is a God of purpose. He does not speak because He has a mouth but because He has a purpose. #SELAH

God is the articulation of His purpose. His purpose preceded what He spoke.

Jesus was there before the beginning. He was declared as the word of God in the beginning. He existed as God’s purpose before the beginning.

God can never exist without purpose. Purpose is what gives God reason to live. Purpose is what causes God to be capacitated.

Purpose defines the existence of God. Purpose gives definition to His attributes. God is the purpose of existence. Therefore, God resides in Himself.

Only God can define eternity causes He understands it.

God’s word is the disclosure of His eternal purpose.

Religion leans heavily on man’s righteous effort. It has also deceived man that through self-motivation and self- righteousness he can attain to spirituality.

Religion can never restore man. No human being through his own efforts can attain to the fullness of God.

God doesn’t rely on works to exist.

For us to decipher the end of things, we must consider the original intent of all things in light of the Creator.

Antecedent to everything else, God is. God didn’t need anything to exist.

Purpose is the continuum of the heart and mind of God.

The prophetic inheritance of man includes:

  1. To be the image and likeness of God, both in earth and in heaven.
  2. To be empowered to prosper.
  3. To be fruitful and increase exponentially. To be fruitful and multiply is not limited to giving birth to babies. It also includes increasing in capacity and multiplying opportunities around you.
  4. To subdue, overcome and rule over his enemies.
  5. To have a relationship with God both in heaven and on earth.
  6. To live in heaven and on earth simultaneously.

At the dawn of eternity God desired a being that He would have perfect fellowship with. You can’t fellowship with God without having His image and likeness.

Creation began in the realm of divine decree. It began as the perceptions of the mind of God. Everything God spoke into existence and function were His perceptions. Creation didn’t begin with manifestation, but in the mind of God.

The manifestation of God’s perception and revelation are transmitted through their portrayal in so far as creation is concerned.

Perceptions by themselves can’t exist in the arena for manifestation. What exists is the manifestation. For the manifestation to have relevance, it needs to have an origin, which is God.

Genesis 1:1 talks about the initial manifestation of creation before God judged Lucifer and shut the earth with darkness.

God’s creation was not out of necessity. It was not a certification of His perceptions. It was all about His glory, everything was created for His glory.

The Bible is a documentation of the manifestations of God from the end to the beginning. God works from the end to the beginning.

Our past is important. It defines who we are in the present. There are things in our past that if not addressed will frustrate our future.

Letting go of the past is a testimony of our heavenly relationship. People who build monuments in their past or present struggle relating with a God. A relationship with God will always motivate you to move in step with the spirit of God.

God loved man despite that he was sinful. God didn’t love man because of who  man is or was. He loves man because of what man will become in Christ.

God doesn’t speak to us on the basis of our circumstances but on the basis of who we are in Christ.

God reveals to us our future in the present so that we can believe what He is saying and detach ourselves from the past and journey with God. He reveals our future so that we can live an empowered present.

One of the tasks of God is to bring mankind to the fullness of stature of Christ. You should never measure yourself up to the standard of man but rather of Christ.

The key to comprehend the purpose of God in man is that He created us to be like Him.

The epitome of our existence as mankind is relationship with God. Everything we achieve out of relationship with God is vain.

Our purpose in life is to be like God, not fellow man. God wants us to grow in His righteous character.

The lifestyle God is the way of perfection. The law of God is not about dos and don’ts but the law of love. His divine character is embodied in love. The character of God is the way of loving, giving, serving and helping.

The triune God created man out of the overflow of the relationship they had within themselves. The foundation of the existence of man is the relationship between the triune God.

The heavens do not denote anything physical. They denote the various dimensions of the kingdom of God.

God created angels to prepare the earth for man. They are ministering spirits.

For thus says the Lord—Who created the heavens, God Himself, Who formed the earth and made it, Who established it and did not create it to be a worthless waste; He formed it to be inhabited—I am the Lord, and there is no one else.

Isaiah 45:18 (AMPC)

God didn’t create the earth formless. He doesn’t create anything that is formless. There was something that caused the earth to be formless i.e. the rebellion of Lucifer caused the earth to be formless after God judged the first earth.

Adam had not been created when God was judging the first world.

For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him.

Colossians 1:16 (AMPC)

Principalities, thrones, dominions and powers, etc are not names of demons. They talk about realms of power.  Man was meant to occupy those realms of authority and power. Man was meant to operate in those realms with Christ.

The Kingdom of God has a lot to do with bringing heaven on earth. God wants you as His son to be able to access the realm of authority and power and manifest it on earth.

God wants us to come to a place of humility. The more we know Him, the more we decrease.

Whatever we are able to see in heaven, those are the things He wants to work in us for us to manifest it on earth. God wants the principals of heaven to be reflected in our lives.

Before the fall of Adam, God ordained for earth and heaven to be interconnected.

Adam had unlimited access to God because earth and heaven were interconnected. The Garden of God and the Garden of Eden were interconnected by the River of God.

Heaven swaddled the earth with the glory of God. This will be restored.

Due to the interconnectivity of heaven and earth, Adam had access to all the realms and dimensions. He was able to maximize the dominance of God on earth. He didn’t not only tend the Garden in the physical but also in the spirit.

Every physical resource has a spiritual potential. It’s for this reason that minerals attract conflict. Mankind in his fallen state does not have the capacity to handle resources. It takes a spiritual man to handle them.

Until man comes to God, he can’t to maximize the potential he has for the benefit of the earth.

Adam was taught how to speak by God. God gave Adam a body of information about everything on earth and the galaxies.

Preceding the instruction to not eat the fruit of good and evil, Adam had been taught about the mystery of redemption. He had been taught about the fall of Lucifer. Adam was not absolved from the consequences of his fall because he knew. God will not judge you based on something you don’t know.

Man was ordained to have a simultaneous existence. He has a spirit and a body.

God’s image denotes God’s inward being while His likeness denotes God’s outward form. God’s form was used to create man.

God’s divine attributes constitute His inward being.

After the fall, the Garden of God and the Tree of Life rolled back to heaven and everything fell into time.

If Adam had not fallen, he would have moved in higher realms of heaven, eternity and perfection.

If Adam had eaten from the Tree of Life, His destiny would have been revealed to him in fullness.

Before the fall, his spirit was on the outside, it covered the body. The glory of God covered his body. This is what enabled him to relate with God intimately. After the fall, the spirit of man was trapped inside his body.

When Adam ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, he partook the principles of Lucifer, thereby abdicating his rights as a son of God.
