The Design For Truth In Man: Sermon By Rev. Richard Muendo
“Who does the Lord think we are?” they ask. “Why does he speak to us like this? Are we little children, just recently weaned? He tells us everything over and over—one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!” So now God will have to speak to his people through foreign oppressors who speak a strange language God has told his people, “Here is a place of rest; let the weary rest here. This is a place of quiet rest.” But they would not listen. So the Lord will spell out his message for them again, one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there, so that they will stumble and fall. They will be injured, trapped, and captured. Therefore, listen to this message from the Lord, you scoffing rulers in Jerusalem.”
Isaiah 28:9-14 (NLT)
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
Colossians 1:15-20 (NKJV)
Christ is the way, the truth and the life.
Truth is subsets of reality that flow and proceed from the truth (which is Christ). God is multifaceted.
Man was made in the image (identity) and likeness (function) of God. Man is distinct from creation. Man was created to reflect the radiance of God’s glory.
Truth can only find establishment within the context of its creation.
For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”
Isaiah 57:15 (NKJV)
Isaiah was from an opulent background. He was consecrated to call Israel to a higher level of holiness. His ministry could be seen in the introduction of his call, the introduction of Christ and the people who would be connected to Christ.
What changed Isaiah’s ministry was his perception of God.
Because of our limitation, we misunderstand God.
God is not only found in the highest of highs but also the lowest of lows (in the heart of the contrite ones).
No one can get to the height of God. There is no chance for equality with anything created. God’s dimension has no equal or comparison. His moral perfection cannot be challenged. We are able to benchmark our call to holiness according to the standard of God’s holiness.
God is perfect and without fault. There are subtle aspects of our heart that find flaws in God’s plan, timing and wisdom.
God always considers the end from the beginning. When He does something, He takes into account all that is and will ever be. All His motives and subsequent actions are without fault.
Free will gives us the choice to align to God’s will or not.
The heartbeat of sin is questioning the sovereignty of God.
The glory of God is a summary of His attributes.
There are 4 elements we borrowed from eternity: light, fire, water and wind. They reference the Holy Spirit.
Light and glory are consuming and overwhelming.
These 4 elements can bring a great deal of destruction. The radiant essence of God’s person can also bring a great deal of destruction.
The dimensions of God are multifaceted. If there was only one dimension, creation would be impossible as it would need equality of beings.
Your native element carries all things that pertain to life and holiness. Your prophetic word speaks of your dimension. It is like fuel. It needs a vehicle.
In the Spirit, limitations are like spheres of influence.
The only way you can comprehend aspects of your life is if you transcend beyond time.
God speaks from a place of establishment.
Revelation is progressive. Line upon line. Precept upon precept. Dimensions have levels of comprehension.
If God were to reveal all the dimensions of His person, creation would only perceive unapproachable light.
There are certain journeys in our life that are not for pain but for our unlocking. Process, delay etc gives us an opportunity to perceive God aright.
“Therefore, behold, I will allure Israel And bring her into the wilderness, And I will speak tenderly to her [to reconcile her to Me].”
Hosea 2:14 (AMP)
To bridge a multifaceted God with a limited man required relationship. Relationship is a spiritual technology to bind the nature of God with the created nature of man. Without relationship, there will be competition and strife. The structure of the bridge of relationship is humility (which is the right estimation of oneself).
Truth needs death in your life for there to be transformation.
We need to transcend from the realm of the visible into the invisible.
Love is critical in relationships because love is how we embrace truth.
“Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”
Amos 3:3 (NKJV)
Relationship requires a certain level of agreement.
You cannot access the essence or aspects of a person using facts and circumstances.
You cannot understand someone through lies.
Truth is the created essence of man. It is the reflective surface for the radiance of God’s glory.
Selfish means inward looking, inward seeking and inward focus. Selfishness absorbs glory. It builds monuments around glory.
Christ is the radiance of God’s glory and the summary if God’s attributes and actions. Perceive Christ aright to understand your dimension.
After purpose comes wisdom. The truth of God can rest and be stored in your person without affecting your person. This leaves you at the level of potential and not as a kinetic believer.
For truth to work in your life, there has to be death.
You cannot multiply truth outside of your dimension and your perception.
Knowing is intimate, affectionate and transformative. Truth transforms. It aligns.
The only way truth can transform you is through death. This is the only way truth can multiply in you.
You cannot be established outside of your dimension. You cannot find out your dimension without knowing Christ.
But He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP)
Kairos requires truth to be transformed to kinetic energy.
“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, will bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfort to her.
Hosea 2:14 (NKJV)
The wilderness is a place for burning excess fat.
Truth cannot be converted into transformative energy without understanding the will of God.
True faith is manifested in your actions.
