In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. John 1:1 AMPC
No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].
John 1:18 AMPC
The book of John reveals the divinity of Christ, the book of Mathew introduces us to Christ as the messiah and the book of Luke has been dedicated to prove Jesus is fully man as He is fully God.
But when the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, Whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth Who comes (proceeds) from the Father, He [Himself] will testify regarding Me.
John 15:26 AMPC
Christ is the one who sends the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of reality that proceeds from the father and testifies of the Son. He is the spirit who introduces us to the reality of the God-head.
Jesus spent time with His disciples but He could not enter the hearts of the disciples in His human form. It was important for Him to go back to the Father for the spirit to be sent during Pentecost so that the spirit of reality could enter into their hearts.
The spirit of truth makes everything that Christ said real. The spirit makes what’s spoken in the Bible real. He makes what is doctrinal become reality.
Without the spirit of God entering into us, it is impossible for the life of God to be a reality to us and we can never experience the reality of life.
The spirit guides us into the reality of Jesus as the life.
What Christ spoke was His words, the spirit makes the word become reality.
God wants us to have the breath of life. This breath is the word of God. This breath is the dispensing of the God-head into us.
The work of the Holy Spirit is to unleash the life giving spirit into us, His work is to impart the second Adam in us.
Without the Holy Spirit, you can’t access life. The Holy Spirit is the only one who imparts life.
It is possible to exist as a human, but there is a higher dimension of life other than mere existence.
God has not called us to be good church members by just hearing the letter of the word.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).
2 Corinthians 3:17-18 AMPC
Freedom in this context refers to being freed from old teachings. In our day, this would be equated to denominations and statements of faith.
This is the freedom that delivers you from religion and denominationalism.
The freedom that God wants for us is the freedom that allows us to be who we are in Him.
God doesn’t want us to worship religion, denomination, doctrines etc.
We need to delivered and to be freed from the old outdated teachings. For example sabbath is not a day, sabbath is Christ. When you are in Christ, you have entered into rest.
When Jesus brings us into the kingdom, He wants us to be diverse. He doesn’t want us to be conformists to the standards of men. He is the standard.
The manifestations of the Spirit are there to show that there is liberty in the Lord and that you are accepted and do not need to feel ashamed.
You might know the letter of the word but have no God in you.
God has not called us to be people of activities, He has called us to be people of relationship.
Unless the spirit of truth leads you into all truth, you do not have Jesus.
Transformation has nothing to do with outward change, it is not correction. Transformation happens from within.
When Christ is dispensed in you everyday, you will be changed from the inside, in your mind and heart. You will start experiencing change in your character and outlook in life.
The only way we get transformed is when Christ is ministered to us.
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
Romans 12:2 AMPC
Transformation is not for us to feel good that we’ve been sanctified, but it is for the benefit of the body of Christ.
When you’ve been transformed, you need to edify the body of Christ in the position you have in Christ.
God wants to see His body, He does not want to see individuals. The will of God is not for the individual but it’s for the entire body of Christ. His will is for us to be part of His body and see life flow in and through the body.
Marriage should be for the individuals to co-partner in edifying the body.
The blessings of God in our lives should affect the body of Christ.
When you allow the Spirit of God to dispense Christ and the Father in you, you will be transformed in your heart and your mind will be renewed. This will change your character and attitudes.
For just as the body is a unity and yet has many parts, and all the parts, though many, form [only] one body, so it is with Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
1 Corinthians 12:12 AMPC
In the Spirit, we are one body. What constitutes one body is when we are united in our mind and heart.
To be in the spirit is to terminate your own carnal nature and have all that Christ is, in you.
Being in the body of Christ means being in the spirit.
When Christ comes into you, one of the things you experience is the reality of the Father and enjoyment.
39 You search and investigate and pore over the Scriptures diligently, because you suppose and trust that you have eternal life through them. And these [very Scriptures] testify about Me!
40 And still you are not willing [but refuse] to come to Me, so that you might have life.
John 5:39-40 (AMPC)
You may touch base with the scriptures and gain knowledge from it but not touch base with Christ. Christ is the life.
Blasphemy against the Spirit, is when you begin to resist who the Spirit is and what He does. When you blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, you are blaspheming against the God-head.
If we are going to come to terms with what is in the scriptures, we must come to terms with who Christ is.
If your lifestyle does not testify that Christ is the Lord, then searching the scriptures is of no use.
Whenever you read the Bible, you must touch base with the Lord. We must trust God for the Spirit who brings life.
Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.
John 14:23 AMPC
This kind of abode can only happen when we are in the spirit.
And behold, I will send forth upon you what My Father has promised; but remain in the city [Jerusalem] until you are clothed with power from on high.
Luke 24:49 AMPC
Jesus wanted His disciples to be clothed with His power and authority.
The Holy Spirit within, is the supply of life we receive in Christ. The Holy Spirit is the symbol of power and authority.
When you are clothed with the Spirit, you have the highest power in the universe.
What gives us license to do the work of the ministry is the clothing by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus needed to ascend to a position of honor for Him to deposit Himself in the spirit before sending the Spirit down.
