2 Corinthians 4:6 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
6 For God Who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts so as [to beam forth] the Light for the illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God [as it is manifest in the Person and is revealed] in the face of Jesus Christ (the Messiah).
The glory of God is the ultimate testimony of His person. Glory is the manifest testimony of who God is. It's God's desire for His glory to rest on a fully surrendered saint.
Surrender means to obey God. To have a relationship with God that is consistent. You have a broken heart and contrite spirit before Him.
A person walking in holiness and righteousness is one who qualifies to host the glory.
Our glory is not in our talents, gifts and words. It's in our praise to God.
The glory of God is for all saints. It's not for a select few.
God will only reveal His glory to those who seek and search for it diligently.
Glory is not meant for us to enjoy but for the days of adversity.
Adversity is for the manifestation for the glory of God.
The light of God shines out of darkness. Until you enter a place of darkness, His light in you cannot shine.
God does not live in light. He resides in darkness. God is light Himself, everything outside of God is darkness.
He is the father of lights; in him there is no shadow of turning.
Psalm 97:2 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
2 Clouds and darkness are round about Him [as at Sinai]; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.
1 Kings 8:12 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
12 Then Solomon said, The Lord said that He would dwell in the thick darkness.
1 John 1:5 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
5 And this is the message [the message of [a]promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [[b]no, not in any way].
The rulership of God in us is not separate from His throne in heaven.
The throne of God is not static,it's not an inanimate. His throne is dynamic. It's dynamic because it's made of who He is. If you remove God from His throne, there is no throne.
Heaven is the throne of the supernatural power of God.
In the beginning when God commanded let there be light. He commanded His glory to shine in the earth. That Glory is Christ.
Heaven is not situated in some outer space, Heaven is where God is. When we invite God in our lives, we invite heaven in our heart. Our heart should became God's throne.
When we get saved, we get a new heart that has been transformed to one that only desires what God desires. When the Bible says God shall fulfill the desires of our hearts, it means our desires have become one with what God desires for us. What we desire should flow from our desire of God.
Glory is best revealed where there is limited.
Suffering breaks the carnal man so that he can be a carrier of glory.
James 1:1-4 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes scattered abroad [among the Gentiles in the dispersion]: Greetings ([a]rejoice)!
2 Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.
3 Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.
4 But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.
1 Peter 5:10-11 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.
11 To Him be the dominion (power, authority, rule) forever and ever. Amen (so be it).
In the garden, when Christ prayed for the cup of suffering to pass, God sent His angels to strengthen Him. For us to see the glory of God in our lives, we do not need the cup of suffering to pass but for us to be strengthened.
For you to understand Glory, look for places to be limited, look for places to be opposed.
If you are in Christ, the suffering you go through will not destroy you. It will make you better and more objective. It also helps you learn how to bear with another.
God's glory can not be separated from who He is because it's the visible expression, manifestation and demonstration of the I AM.
God is not obligated to became anything except who He is.
The answer to everything in life is God's glory. It's a privilege to be in darkness, because that's where you have the opportunity to see God's glory.
When God's glory is revealed to you, your understanding changes, your relationship with Him changes, your relationship with other people changes, your prayer life changes, you became humble.
People that have encountered God's glory handle people in authority with honour.
The fullness of the glory of God is too much for the frail nature of human nature to stand. When Moses came from the mountain and His face shone with the overflow of the glory of God, the people could not be able to look at his face. How much more the full glory of God?
No man can look at the face of God and live. God puts a cloud on His face to prevent men from dying when they encounter Him. The cloud is representative of darkness. The darkness represents challenges.
Your problems are a privilege to keep you from dying.
When the Bible says , no one can see God and live means it no one walking in the carnal nature can see God and live. Your carnal nature must die for you to see God.
When the glory of God came and sided with Moses when His siblings were fighting him about him marrying a cushite woman. The Lord siding with Moses implies, you can not fight a saint whose fully surrendered to God. You have no business fighting someone whose died to his carnal nature.
To serve the purposes of God in our generation requires we die. The wilderness that the Lord has brought us into is to ensure we die to self and enter a new level of Glory.
Darkness represents weights of issues, circumstances that hinder our progress.
God's throne is ever present wherever He is; neither is it invisible nor discernible. The Lord hides it to protect us.
How you respond to your wilderness matters. You need to let go of weights for you to experience the glory of God and strive to maturity.
Wilderness is also an opposition for rest.
God's power and sovereignty is revealed in His throne.
1 Corinthians 1:28-31 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
28 And God also selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is lowborn and insignificant and branded and treated with contempt, even the things that are nothing, that He might depose and bring to nothing the things that are,
29 So that no mortal man should [have pretense for glorying and] boast in the presence of God.
30 But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin].
31 So then, as it is written, Let him who boasts and proudly rejoices and glories, boast and proudly rejoice and glory in the Lord.
2 Corinthians 4:16-17 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
16 Therefore we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outer man is [progressively] decaying and wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively]renewed day after day.
17 For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!],
Our flesh in it's sinful nature is repulsive.
The Bible says we are the temple of God, it means we are the temple of Spiritual manifestation. We should manifest His glory not our gifts, talents and abilities. When we manifest the glory of God our gifts, talents and natural abilities will find expression automatically.
Christ came to remove the veil that veiled humanity from the glow of God's glory. When He died, the curtain in the temple tore into two. That veil represented the flesh and the troubles we face. God wants to tear that down so that we can be able fellowship with Him.
What we sacrifice should be an expression of our obedience to God.
God is inviting everyone into the Holy of holies. Life is in the Holy of holies. In the outer court there is only shadows of life.
The glory of God is the revelation of God's nature. It's the revelation of the substance of His person( His character and attributes). You can never understand the purpose of God without understanding His person.
God's Glory is the demonstration of His wisdom that installs the weight of His character to his people. It displaces the fallen nature of man so that man can have the fullness of the glory of God. God wants us to understand the consummation of His character and the multiplication of his nature.
1 John 4:16 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
16 And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.
God is love, love is God's character and His power. God does not do anything outside of love. Love is the most powerful attribute resident In God God's glory manifests His love.
When we ask God to reveal His glory, we are asking The Father to reveal Himself so that we can love Him.
God lives in unapproachable light. The reason why it's unapproachable is because it's a composite of the glory of the triune God.
When Moses said that he does not know the name of God; the Angel of the Lord (Pre-Incarnate Christ) told Him to say that I AM sent him. This propelled Moses to hunger for God more. This was culminated at the cleft of the Rock where he saw the after-glow of the Glory of God. The result of it is our transformation.
God showed Moses his backside when Moses asked to see God because He wanted Moses to be changed by what He saw. God wants the same for us, He desires us to be changed by seeing His attributes.
God told Moses to stand on the rock besides Him, the rock represents Christ. To stand on the rock represents the coming of Christ into our lives. It also represents our trust in Christ. It represents our positioning in Christ where we are able to see God's glory.
Once you have an encounter with God, like Saul, you will get transformed, into Paul and will handle things differently.
The fear of the Lord installs an awe on how you handle people and their things.
It is God the Father who positions us in His son and adopts us as His sons. This is the revelation of the Love of the Father in motion that bought us into salvation by the blood of His son.
