"Remove not the ancient landmark which your fathers have set up." Proverbs 22:28 AMPC
Principles are eternal. Truth is an eternal principle. When you try to alter the truth, it changes to become falsehood.
We need to hold dear to truth so that we can be able to handle any challenges that come our way.
You cannot move a landmark in order to suit your terrestrial circuits.
You must ensure that you move your circuits in line with the concerts of God.
When we constantly adhere to the timeless truths of God, we will avoid the tragedy of reinventing church or reinventing God.
Principles never change. They are from everlasting to everlasting.
Principles come from God but values come from within.
Let us seek God that we maybe in line with Him.
Before you remove a landmark ask yourself why it was put there in the first place.
Everything in life has it's boundaries.
Every assignment has a birthing place and you can only enjoy the assignment within the confines of the birthing place.
"Whoever removes [landmark] stones or hews out [new ones with similar intent] will be hurt with them, and he who fells trees will be endangered by them." Ecclesiastes 10:9 AMPC
"If the serpent bites before it is charmed, then it is no use to call a charmer [and the slanderer is no better than the uncharmed snake]." Ecclesiastes 10:11 AMPC
Submitting to authority and boundaries will cause you not to go through frustration.
Your boundaries are your pillars of strength that will enable you to stand the test of time.
Landmarks describe the body of truth that we are to live by including the absolutes of God's word.
"Cursed is he who moves [back] his neighbor's landmark. All the people shall say, Amen."
Deuteronomy 27:17 AMPC
The lines of truth have been blurred in our culture for the sake of fearing judgement.
When the church calls something sinful, the church is called intolerant, lacking compassion or judgmental. Sin is sin. It is not a weakness.
We need to be founded on the truth which is the word of God.
God gave us laws to govern us.
God's law is a moral absolute. He has established moral absolutes that we must honor and obey.
The Holy Spirit is there to help us obey and give us guidance in God's word.
God set this landmark stones so that we can live within the confines of His word.
The absolute Truths of God cannot be changed or transferred.
When you violate any truth, you cannot blame someone else for your actions.
