“For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations,[b] and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. 8 ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.” Haggai 2:6-9 NKJV
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?1st Corinthians 3:16 NKJV
The only thing that is indicative we are carriers of the glory of God, is if there is glory. The problem of the Church is that we have lost concept of God - His majesty and glory - and the fear of the Lord. We have substituted His glory with cheap knock-offs of permissive entertainment.
We gather to have an encounter with the majesty of God not for business deals, to seek breakthroughs or to seek for marital mates nor for fashion shows. We gather to seek God and interact with His person and His Glory. We unfortunately have lost the concept of His Glory and majesty.
As a Church, we should consider that even our righteousness is filthy rags. The Church has lost the spirit of true worship. We need to withdraw into the presence of God. We need to withdraw inwardly in adoring silence. The Church is not supposed to awaken to entertainment but to the God's glory and then reflecting it. Lack of vision is causing the Church to perish. It is not about manifestations but insight.
For us to be able to experience God's glory - we need to allow God to be God. We exist for His glory.
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 NKJV
We are alive for the purpose of worshiping God. We need to allow the word of God and His purifying power to purge us of all dross and allow His rebuke to align us guide us and direct us.
To experience God’s glory:
* We must allow God to be God: We exist for God and for His glory
* We must allow the Lordship of Christ to reign within us
* We must allow the word to sanctify you
* We must receive His rebuke, correction, guidance and direction without questioning. You should not question Him but accept Him.
The Church must lift up her eyes to heaven for her to regain her power and vision: of God lifted up and Christ at His right hand.
Vision is insight not just manifestation. Every manifestation has a reality that God wants us to touch base with.
As a Church, we need to consider whether the Rhema we have received has benefited and transformed us as individuals. We need to consider if our lives have borne fruit and check if our character has been transformed. We need to introspect and consider is we are able to submit to counsel.
We as Church need to consider if our gifts and talents have become a god/idol and whether we have submitted them to God.
We need to have vision of God exalted like Isaiah did. His lips were touched to be purified. He then started to prophesy concerning the Messiah - before his advent, his life on Earth and the millennial reign.
When we submit one to another; humility will grow, love will grow and patience will grow. The only way to access the glory of God is through the cross. Christ paved the way for us. He died on the cross for us to access The Father. The level of glory we are headed to as a Church will require for us to die.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me. John 14:6 NKJV
The altar is a place where you decrease so that He may increase. If you are minister, you are well acquainted with decrease as a righteous requirement. #SELAH
True worship starts in the inner-man
that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man. Ephesians 3:16 NKJV
It is the spirit of God that causes there to be streams of living water so that your souls thirst is quenched.
And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”Exodus 33:18-19 NKJV
Moses wanted to understand the Glory of God. The Lord implied that He would cause Him to see all that is His excellence to pass before him;The afterglow of His glory. The Lord allowed Moses to encounter the flow of who God was and not to encounter it.
The moral and the spiritual excellence of God is manifested as light as it was in the Mount of Transfiguration. The transfiguration started in the inside. Moral perfection and spiritual excellence must start from the inside, daily.
The radiance of God' glory is the resultant factor of light, heat and energy.
Being the light of the world means to demonstrate God's moral and spiritual perfection. It is light that is seen to everyone even non-believers
Heat represents the heavy duty transactions of moral and spiritual perfection in our lives.
Energy represents the demonstration of the supernatural dimensions of the Kingdom of God.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.Matthew 5:16 NKJV
Glory from our good deeds serves the purpose that the Father is praised.
Glory is the fullness of God. He does not want to package and separate himself in terms of His glory. He desires to come in his fullness; He wants to give us the whole of himself.
God wants us to allow Him to live in us and then show up in us through us and for us.
Moses' face shone radiantly after encountering God. God's glory is the fullness of God. It is a mystery that cannot be captured individually but in the context of fellowship.
God's grace does not absolve us from our sin for God is a god of judgment.
KABOD in Hebrew refers to the weight of God's glory. The desire for glory means that we are to prepare for a shaking in our lives ;everything carnal must be shaken and only that which is spiritual is left.
The glory of God is manifested where there is sacrifice. When the glory of God comes He consumes us thus there is a shaking.
We need to consider if we are willing to allow God to consume us. Some things must be consumed for us to walk in the fullness of the Glory of God. God cannot use us unless He shakes us.
He is a jealous God and will not share His glory with anyone. Anything that is not of Him must go.
