tend to take stock during the end of the year. It's crucial as you can
form a perception of God because of what you've gone through.
we go through hard times, we tend to question God. If you end the year
questioning God, or not expecting from Him, it will affect your
perception next year.
How many of us are fully aware of God's love?
of us love God when things work for them. Others only believe God loves
them because Christ died for them but are unaware of how His love looks
like experientally in the day to day.
Unrelenting means unyielding, uncompromising, undiminished and incapable of being changed.
Everyone desires love but God's love is incomparable to any other.
If you walk in the power of God's love, you will be unshakable.
We need to be confident in God's love.
"He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love." 1 John 4:8 AMPC
Love is the essence of God's moral nature.
"No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends." John 15:13 AMPC
God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up
His only begotten ([a]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts
in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be
lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life." John 3:16 AMPC
To love is to know and experience God's height, depth and breadth of love.
God desires for each of us to experience His love. It's an anchor and strong foundation for all that God does.
God's love is as sure as the sunrise.
"It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great and abundant is Your stability and faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23 AMPC
Trials and tribulations will come but they are not to destroy us.
You can't scrutinize the love of God based on every wrong thing that happens on earth.
We are all different and diverse. We can't succeed the same.
God wants to walk with us through the hard things. Don't allow the devil to make you doubt everything He's told you.
Lord appeared from of old to me [Israel], saying, Yes, I have loved you
with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn
you and continued My faithfulness to you." Jeremiah 31:3 AMPC
God continues His faithfulness to us. He will keep drawing us to His love.
We need to move from knowing God loves us in our minds and let it move to our heart.
God doesn't relate with us the same way we relate to others.
Unrelenting love is sure.
It's easy to think you know something or believe something until it's tested.
We need the Holy Spirit to break down our walls and show us what His love is.
have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace
and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and
distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be
confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have
deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]" John 16:33 AMPC
sent Christ not only that He may die to restore us back to God, but to
experience life. We are able to overcome every trial because even Christ
Tribulations are there to build us and make us Christ-like. It's a place of maturity and character building.
The thing that the enemy attacks is your identity and your faith.
When God releases a word, there's an attack that comes to steal the word.
The length of your wait will not water down your word. You will become who God said you will become. He finishes what He begins.
evils confront the [consistently] righteous, but the Lord delivers him
out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Evil
shall cause the death of the wicked; and they who hate the just and
righteous shall be held guilty and shall be condemned" Psalms 34:19-21 AMPC
the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a
voice came from heaven, saying, You are My Son, My Beloved! In You I am
well pleased and find delight!" Luke 3:22 AMPC
Jesus, full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit, returned from the
Jordan and was led in [by] the [Holy] Spirit For (during) forty days in
the wilderness (desert), where He was tempted (tried, tested
exceedingly) by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and
when they were completed, He was hungry. Then the devil said to Him, If
You are the Son of God, order this stone to turn into a loaf [of bread].
And Jesus replied to him, It is written, Man shall not live and be
sustained by (on) bread alone but by every word and expression of God." Luke 4:1-4 AMPC
was affirmed by God and immediately after, He was taken by the Spirit
into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. The devil will never
affirm you or remind you what God said. He makes you doubt that you are
the beloved of God.
When you succumb to the temptation of identity; you start to affirm yourself instead of allowing God to do so.
Doubt creeps in; the only ant-dote is to meditate on the word of God (Joshua 1:8-9)
You need to be firmly rooted in your identity in God.
I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord,
thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you
hope in your final outcome." Jeremiah 29:11 AMPC
This was spoken in the context of captivity in Babylon.
I do not need to do anything for God's love. He did it all for me.
When you go through trying times, you need to remember that God will work everything out for your good. He will be faithful.
believers, we want God to take hard seasons away. We want Him to
revenge on our behalf. But God is just and merciful. When God seems like
He is not working, we need to realize that He has a bigger picture in
mind. He sees all things. His power is sure.
God doesn't show partiality to any of His children. His love is unconditional and uncaused. It is free. It's all about Him.
Being loved comes with maturity. You will need to carry right perceptions of others and of God.
wants us to know how loved we are. We need to be assured of His love
and that we have the backing of heaven to accomplish all He has purposed
God empathizes with us through every
difficult season. God is also sovereign so no matter we go through, He
will work it all for our good. God shows us mercy and justice. He will
hold the people who hurt us to account.
I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor
angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor
things to come, nor powers, Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in
all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is
in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:35-39 AMPC
Nothing can separate us from the unlimited love of God.
God sustained the Israelites in the wilderness.
said to them, Would that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the
land of Egypt, when we sat by the fleshpots and ate bread to the full;
for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole
assembly with hunger." Exodus 16:3 AMPC
Like the Israelites, we are unable to see how God sustains us in every season. Each time they complained, God provided.
The problem is not that God has not loved us but that we are not remaining in His love. Let us remind each other of God's love.
Even in the most trying moments, God's love is sure.
May we grow to the fullness and stature of Christ, walking and being rooted in the love of God.
brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love
[for love waved as a protecting and comforting banner over my head when I
was near him]." Song of Solomon 2:4 AMPC
